  1. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Totally Confident.

The final 6 games will make Bowles look like a genius.

  2. buc4evr Says:

Win or lose my perception of Bowles never changes. The guy simply will never get the Bucs back to the SB and gets out coached by better teams. The only thing saving Bowles is that he is in the NFC South.

    As always: No Confidence.

  3. Aceofaerospace Says:

I see Todd Bowles voted in your poll again.

  4. SB~LV Says:

    LC

  5. Eric Says:

What a difference a few weeks make! We’ve been beat down by any team with an edge rush with a damn and every loss want necessarily to a better team but the one common denominator in every loss x this year was we were OUTCOACHED. I like Todd Bowles as a person but reality has set in. I’m not sold on him but for now I’m giving Grizzard a bit of a pass because he’s lost almost every star player on offense for long periods of time but our defense led by Bowles has regressed and been outcoached/ schemesmd so many times this year and has plenty of talent at CB, safety, interior DL (even without Kancey), and hasn’t been decimated by injuries near as bad (although bad enough). I wish the Glazers had the balls to bite Coen but I understand why they didn’t given the lost decade. At this point I’d say Bowles is a lower echelon HC that has had a solid roster with lots of potential and just schematically can’t beat his competition at his own job so how can he expect the players to do the same.

  6. StormyInFl Says:

The only thing anyone should be confident in is Bowles finding the nearest Golden Corral.

  7. HopetheBucswin Says:

None. Can’t stop nobody. Makes all opposing qbs look like Josh Allen. Oh and we have to face 509Cousins again. Fire Bowles!

  8. Cassie Says:

This is reminding me of the last Gruden season, where we just hit a wall, and lost every game at the end. I would not be shocked by 6 and 11.

  9. zzbucs Says:

I am confidence about Bowles as usual……
    Bipolar and treacherous fan base.

What about asking confidence on the GM???

Where do you Joe’s draw the line between GM and Coach responsibilities.

You keep moaning about the lack of pass rush?
Well, I agree, buy you seriously want to rush the pass with Nelson/Reddick /Yaya and Chris Braswell…. Let me ask you is that the coach responsibility.

Who drafted and payed Zion MacCallum?

    Who drafted Logan Hall?
Is the coach responsible for all the injuries, and many of them at the same position?

I get that Bowles is conservative, he has problem managing the clock,, and some many more mistakes.

But he is not the main problem here.

Time to open your eyes and stop pointing fingers on him

  10. SteveK Says:

Hoping we can turn it around, little confidence in coaching, edge rushing production, special teams coverage, and losing by one of the outcomes mentioned would make me feel the HC can’t get it right. I also blame Licht for not stocking a proper edge rush, it’s atrocious. And I blame Licht for not making trades when your roster is deficient.

  11. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Until Bowles loses his players, he’s here to stay…and all of them like him. They fight hard each game.

However, his decision to take a knee to end a game we were losing sent a message.

It will all come down to Mayfield and protecting him from further injury. He won’t be scrambling for a couple weeks at least.

If Teddy has to play…it will be a nightmare.

There were fans who wanted Trask gone…be careful what you wish for going forward.

Trask may or may not have worked out, but he was better than Teddy.

  12. Deeboooo Says:

    Commence the weekly pity party!!!

  13. FortMyersDave Says:

It is nice to see that Todd and 2 of his relatives read JBF and voted “totally confident”.

  14. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Anyone who wants to blame Licht is blind.

He understands development. Many, many here do not.

  15. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

FortMyersDave, I voted TC and I am not related, lol.

Plenty more will be TC over the next 6 weeks.

  16. Jerseybuc Says:

    None!
It’s obvious he can’t get the job done it’s been obvious.
16 games under 500 as aHC same old midseason collapse bullshi!!!
    Bottom half ranked D.
Very least give foote the playcalling duties but he won’t because of his ego.
Coen should have never been allowed to leave.
Think Licght drafts great he does suck at D line for sure should have made a move at the deadline were 6-2 then best D line since he’s been GM is free agent signings n jpp trade

  17. DBS Says:

No confidence. None at all. Time for him to go.

  18. Bosch Says:

Pay attention, Glazers. Retaining Bowels will negatively impact ticket sales and merchandise sales.

  19. SteveK Says:

    Bonzai,

I challenge your statement, and if you think o our edge rush is adequate- you might need your vision checked.

  20. StormyInFl Says:

“Where do you Joe’s draw the line between GM and Coach responsibilities.

You keep moaning about the lack of pass rush?
Well, I agree, buy you seriously want to rush the pass with Nelson/Reddick /Yaya and Chris Braswell…. Let me ask you is that the coach responsibility.”

You seriously believe Licht just signs who he wants and Bowles has zero input?

More likely – Bowles tells Licht the players that fit “his system” and Licht goes and gets them. If Bowles has no responsibility for the draft, why is at the combine every year? Why do his coaches go to the senior bowl?

You think Licht signed McCollum to his ridiculous contract without consulting with Bowles first?

Licht has some responsibility, but it’s 50/50 with Bowles and the coaching staff. Add in the game day stupidity and that shifts the majority of the Blame to Bowles.

If Bowles goes, Licht will be on his last HC hire. He hired Koetter and Arians. He did not hire Bowles – that was forced on him by the Glazers and Arians.

And all of you Bowles apologists – why is it that there was ZERO interest in Bowles as a HC candidate after the superbowl? If he was so wonderful, there are plenty of openings every year, yet I don’t recall Todd Bowles being a serious contender for any of them. Ever.

  21. Lol Says:

Won’t defend Bowles any longer. Dude doesn’t have it. We’ll see against ARI but the Bucs really needed a hell of a gameplan 3 weeks in a row and have been embarrassed

  22. Bojim Says:

I went from very confident to little confidence.

  23. Obvious One Says:

I’ve never voted zero confidence. With that said, Bowles hasn’t given me more than two to three weeks of respectable defensive play this entire season.

    * Don’t forget * It was the “defense” that saved our bacon for two to three weeks..

And with that said, SOMETHING MASSIVE HAPPENED WITHIN…… And the dating came right at the trade deadline when the total explosion commenced!

Someone mentioned “losing the team”….. Well… That’s EXACTLY what it “looks like and sounds like” according to the level of give a darn from the locker room conversations. They are playing with NO HEART! NO URGENCY! NO GIVE A FART!

Now. Call it what you will but We Have ALL witnessed the difference in play. From saving the team to Could Care Less…

So Bowles has no control. The players are pretending to play and have no discipline. And there for, they have No Respect for what is or is not happening. The locker room seems lost to me but I’m not there. I just base it on what we All read and SEE with our own eyes…

    Little confidence…

  24. OneAndThree Says:

Completely confident, that Bowles will gain weight and lose more games.

Perhaps getting shredded at home by the Cardinals will finally wake up the Glazers.

Bowles will never be a HC again after this next contract. No other team in the NFL is dumb enough to hire him.

Since he has three more years left after 2025, we might as well embrace the insanity.

  25. Steve Says:

Bring in Gruden for the playoffs!

  26. Smarter than Joe Says:

Confident that the pass defense will rank bottom 10 every year with Bowles

  27. jcscycles Says:

Arians is still on staff as a “consultant”. Both Leftwich and Bowles were his hires.

As long as BA is on staff, it’s going to be hard to get rid of Bowles. I’d say the ties need to be completely cut with BA first.

But who knows what the politics are – both here, and in the rest of the league.

Somethiing for you all to think about.

  28. Tye Says:

Benefiting from other teams inadequacies does NOT make you a good coach…
All it did was pad the stats and make the Bucs STUCK with a BAD HC/DC!

Hopefully the Glaziers grow a pair and bring in a top HC next season…

  29. BA’s Red Pen Says:

    • Little Confidence

  30. Fred McNeil Says:

I have little confidence. If we can beat the tanking Cards that would bode well for another Bowles end-of-season rally. It seems the schedule makers always gift us turkeys to finish out the year. Are we going to win at home on wild card weekend?

  31. Whatevs Says:

Same thing every year under Bowles and Licht.

Not going to change. Fed up with hearing about what ifs, and injuries

If the Glazers are afraid of another lost decade and would rather have years of mediocrity, in lieu of trying to get to a SB, players will stay away from this team.

And so will fans. Pathetic franchise.

  32. unbelievable Says:

Getting to a winning record by beating a few bottom feeders and limping into the playoffs:
    – Confident

Playing sound defense, beating good opponents, and looking sharp in the playoffs:
    – No confidence

Making the right choice during critical game situations:
    – No confidence

Same as it ever was. The team has the identity of the head coach: passive, soft and mediocre.

  33. Fred McNeil Says:

We won’t be a wildcard. That I can guarantee.

  34. Deeboooo Says:

It’s cute that a lot of you think you have an inside beat on this team just from reading JBF articles and what you see on TV. How can any of you make claims like “Bowles lost the locker room”. Like what!!!! ??? How do you have any clue what someone is feeling based on their face on TV, vibes you pick up, or based on their play???? I mean when I watch these players they look pissed that their teammates are missing assignments ( cough cough d line and “edge rushers” cough cough)

I get a lot of you sit inside all day and dream of having friends. Maybe this is your daily gossip? Just chill, and know you legit have zero idea or knowledge of what’s going on with this team besides what they want to share with you ( and that’s not much because they owe you nothing mid season)

  35. Obvious One Says:

    @Deeboo

How can you claim he hasn’t????????¿???????

  36. BucsFanSince1996 Says:

    ———————————————————————————–

Teddy isn’t necessarily going to be a nightmare. I believe he could win some games for us if the o-line protected him and our WR’s got separation. Those things are a bigger problem than having Teddy as QB.

Maybe we can trade for Joe Burrow. He doesn’t need an o-line. 😉

  37. Obvious One Says:

    Deeboo

Just wake up. How about Proving he hasn’t lost the looker room? Where’s your evidence?

  38. Deeboooo Says:

The point is you can’t prove it.

    I can’t prove it

    You can’t prove it

That’s between him and his team – let’s not gossip

  39. Lol Says:

    LMAO DEEBOO

Please Deeboo reveal to the world what is actually happening with the BUCS.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAH

  40. Deeboooo Says:

Well they are a 6-5 team. In first place. With a mediocre offense and struggling defense.

    Hahahahah?

  41. unbelievable Says:

“Well they are a 6-5 team. In first place.”… in the weakest division in football and get embarrassed every single time they play anyone decent on national TV

Amazing how many are content to keep celebrating mediocrity and going 1 and done in the playoffs…

Well they are a 6-5 team. In first place. With a mediocre offense and struggling defense.

    Hahahahah?”

First place (barely) only Because the other teams in this division are even bigger dumpster fires? Not exactly a high bar. Although Carolina is starting to come around – as long as Tepper stays out of it.

Any other division, a Bowles led team will be bringing up the rear.

  43. BucsFanSince1996 Says:

    Whatevs Says:
Same thing every year under Bowles and Licht.

    Not going to change.
    ———————————————————————————

I hope that that’s not going to change.

Licht built a team that won a Super Bowl five years ago and I’m totally confident he can do it again.

Bowles is far from perfect, but he coordinated a defense that held the Chiefs to zero TD’s in the Super Bowl.

Since then Licht had to rebuild the team while they were in salary cap hell, and whether you are capable or not of seeing it, the team is moving in the right direction.

Surely we do need more depth at some positions but losing our #1 RB, our #1, #2, and #4 WR’s, our #1 RG, #1 LG, our all-pro LT coming off an injury and playing much less than 100%, Ko Kieft – our best blocking TE. None of those injuries are the fault of Bowles or Licht, are they?

We can clone Joe Montana and start him at QB but if the o-line can’t protect him and his targets aren’t getting separation, it’s not going to go well for him.

Our defense is horrid, but no secondary is going to do well if we can’t get pressure on the QB. And losing Kancey, Walker, & Reddick didn’t help at all.
I believe Vita Vea is playing with a significant injury as well. He pretty much disappeared in recent weeks.

  44. Ballwasher61 Says:

When the Bucs drafted Tez Johnson his game film was better than the numbers he posted at the combine, he passed what’s known as the “eyeball test”. Talking about this team it “Looks” like to me they are playing like they are either lost or not seeing what is happening in front of them, especially on D. Playing D is harder from a read and react stance than offense. I thought Bowles had lost the locker room the last 2 years but they came back and so I was proven wrong. But this mid season slump cannot continue. Do I think we are more talented on Offense than defense, sure across the board. But the bad play, angles, reads, etc shouldn’t be happening. Injuries have played a part for sure but this slide just can’t happen. I don’t know whose to blame for it, I still say the players are the ones who are responsible for getting the job done. But I’ve seen players say F-it when coach’s don’t see what the players do and refuse to call the game correctly or listen to the players when the player is right.

  45. buccintimeforchanges Says:

That’s a no from me dawg.

  46. Deeboooo Says:

    A lot of hypotheticals

There is no “quality” ranking on your division ranking. 1st is 1st is 1st. I’m not sitting here saying they are quality wins or the division isn’t soft. Yall right NFC south sucks. Is anyone here arguing that??

AFC north sucked too when Brady kept running the table.

How about afc west the past decade? Was it hard for the cheifs when the broncos, raiders and chargers all sucked?

Again – I’m just going off facts here, not my emotions (my wife’s specialty). Not trying to predict the future. Just staying in the moment and not trying to get ahead of myself. Get to the playoffs is first and foremost. Get hot at the right time and no one cares what your record is or how tough your division was.

We’re not the browns or raiders here, we don’t need to blow this up based off of emotions.

  47. OneAndThree Says:

Where are the Joe’s lately? Haven’t seen much response to the posters since Sunday.

Are they just in a catatonic state after going from 5-1 to 6-5?

The only win in five games was against the putid Saints could send anyone into a shocked mental breakdown.

Or, do they lack the desire and energy to argue reality with the fans that have their eyes open to the truth?

There’s no lipstick on this pig.

They might have been drinking heavily since Sunday evening. 😉

  49. cmurda Says:

This is a carbon copy of the previous year. Start off strong, mid year collapse, finish good enough. No improvement. Joe’s poll tells the whole story.

  50. Permanently Moderated Says:

Those who voted totally confident need to seek psychiatric treatment asap. Please enlighten me as to what makes you totally confident?

  51. Jmarkbuc Says:

The ineptitude and weak roster is Bud Lichts responsibility.

Should have been run long ago..

  52. 813bucboi Says:

    downgraded from TC to C

    GO BUCS!!!!

  53. NYbucsfan Says:

Looks like Bowles has at least 10 fake accounts.

  54. zzbucs Says:

    @StormyInFl

I ask you again the question you never answer…….

Where do you Joe’s draw the line between GM and Coach responsibilities?

  55. VOT Says:

The 22 people that selected totally confident should set an appointment with a professional immediately.

They should not vote in any more elections, they clearly lack the ability to use sound judgment

  56. Smarter than Joe Says:

Over 80% have little to NO Confidence, truly inspiring head coach LOL

  57. Anyhony Says:

Real question: If this team limps into the playoffs and wins a game was it a good season? or is it Super Bowl or bust? Hypothetically, if this team gets all its stars back, makes the Super Bowl and wins (having played crappy all season) was it a good year?

  58. Lol Says:

If this current team wins a playoff game that is a WIN and a decent season.

If they miss the playoffs its a collapse and bad season.

If this team gets its stars back and wins a Superbowl then mission accomplished.

If this team doesnt win a Playoff game its a failure.

  59. mg Says:

16% of the voters need a drug test

  60. MadMax Says:

    zero, zilch, nada

  61. heyjude Says:

Confident. We have six games left and will win some of them.

  62. Buc1987 Says:

    No confidence.

  63. DFWBUC Says:

Bowles team just got beat by a no name defense and a MVP quarterback. I can understand how the injuries have affected our offense and defense but individual defensive players have seemed to regress which is on coaching and coaching schemes. Bowles decision making makes me question whether he is the right head coach long term. The Bucs are not a playoff team but are in a weak division so they will be one and done.

  64. Rod Munch Says:

How many of the dopes in here with all the doom and gloom and whining the loudest were the ones excitedly telling everyone we won the week 6 ESPN Power Poll.

They weren’t the best team in week 6, and they’re not as bad as all the drama queens want to say they are now. You cupcakes need to chill out. The team is 6-5 while dealing with with tons of injuries, and playing the 6th hardest schedule. Meanwhile, they’re getting a ton of guys back, and their remaining SOS is 31st. The team should go on a good run to end the season and at the same time get heathy.

Two weeks from now, if they’re 8-5, all the drama queens in here right now being the loudest and most annoying will be the ones yelling about how they always believed and saying Baker is the MVP and winning games by himself (meanwhile losing is always a team sport – oh yeah, and he’s not healthy).

With that said, if they lose this game to the Cardinals, then panic as that would be the first game all year where they lost to a team that is worse than the Bucs.

  65. buccintimeforchanges Says:

    Licht built a SB champion?

    BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

That’s hilarious. Yeah. What a blueprint…win the Brady sweepstakes.

He’ll never ever repeat that…smdh. Embarassing goobers on here.
