  1. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Totally Confident.

The final 6 games will make Bowles look like a genius.

  2. buc4evr Says:

Win or lose my perception of Bowles never changes. The guy simply will never get the Bucs back to the SB and gets out coached by better teams. The only thing saving Bowles is that he is in the NFC South.

    As always: No Confidence.

  3. Aceofaerospace Says:

I see Todd Bowles voted in your poll again.

  4. SB~LV Says:

    LC

  5. Eric Says:

What a difference a few weeks make! We’ve been beat down by any team with an edge rush with a damn and every loss want necessarily to a better team but the one common denominator in every loss x this year was we were OUTCOACHED. I like Todd Bowles as a person but reality has set in. I’m not sold on him but for now I’m giving Grizzard a bit of a pass because he’s lost almost every star player on offense for long periods of time but our defense led by Bowles has regressed and been outcoached/ schemesmd so many times this year and has plenty of talent at CB, safety, interior DL (even without Kancey), and hasn’t been decimated by injuries near as bad (although bad enough). I wish the Glazers had the balls to bite Coen but I understand why they didn’t given the lost decade. At this point I’d say Bowles is a lower echelon HC that has had a solid roster with lots of potential and just schematically can’t beat his competition at his own job so how can he expect the players to do the same.

  6. StormyInFl Says:

The only thing anyone should be confident in is Bowles finding the nearest Golden Corral.

  7. HopetheBucswin Says:

None. Can’t stop nobody. Makes all opposing qbs look like Josh Allen. Oh and we have to face 509Cousins again. Fire Bowles!

  8. Cassie Says:

This is reminding me of the last Gruden season, where we just hit a wall, and lost every game at the end. I would not be shocked by 6 and 11.

  9. zzbucs Says:

I am confidence about Bowles as usual……
    Bipolar and treacherous fan base.

What about asking confidence on the GM???

Where do you Joe’s draw the line between GM and Coach responsibilities.

You keep moaning about the lack of pass rush?
Well, I agree, buy you seriously want to rush the pass with Nelson/Reddick /Yaya and Chris Braswell…. Let me ask you is that the coach responsibility.

Who drafted and payed Zion MacCallum?

    Who drafted Logan Hall?
Is the coach responsible for all the injuries, and many of them at the same position?

I get that Bowles is conservative, he has problem managing the clock,, and some many more mistakes.

But he is not the main problem here.

Time to open your eyes and stop pointing fingers on him

  10. SteveK Says:

Hoping we can turn it around, little confidence in coaching, edge rushing production, special teams coverage, and losing by one of the outcomes mentioned would make me feel the HC can’t get it right. I also blame Licht for not stocking a proper edge rush, it’s atrocious. And I blame Licht for not making trades when your roster is deficient.

  11. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Until Bowles loses his players, he’s here to stay…and all of them like him. They fight hard each game.

However, his decision to take a knee to end a game we were losing sent a message.

It will all come down to Mayfield and protecting him from further injury. He won’t be scrambling for a couple weeks at least.

If Teddy has to play…it will be a nightmare.

There were fans who wanted Trask gone…be careful what you wish for going forward.

Trask may or may not have worked out, but he was better than Teddy.

  12. Deeboooo Says:

    Commence the weekly pity party!!!

  13. FortMyersDave Says:

It is nice to see that Todd and 2 of his relatives read JBF and voted “totally confident”.

  14. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Anyone who wants to blame Licht is blind.

He understands development. Many, many here do not.

  15. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

FortMyersDave, I voted TC and I am not related, lol.

Plenty more will be TC over the next 6 weeks.

  16. Jerseybuc Says:

    None!
It’s obvious he can’t get the job done it’s been obvious.
16 games under 500 as aHC same old midseason collapse bullshi!!!
    Bottom half ranked D.
Very least give foote the playcalling duties but he won’t because of his ego.
Coen should have never been allowed to leave.
Think Licght drafts great he does suck at D line for sure should have made a move at the deadline were 6-2 then best D line since he’s been GM is free agent signings n jpp trade

  17. DBS Says:

No confidence. None at all. Time for him to go.

  18. SteveK Says:

    Bonzai,

I challenge your statement, and if you think o our edge rush is adequate- you might need your vision checked.

  19. StormyInFl Says:

“Where do you Joe’s draw the line between GM and Coach responsibilities.

Well, I agree, buy you seriously want to rush the pass with Nelson/Reddick /Yaya and Chris Braswell…. Let me ask you is that the coach responsibility.”

You seriously believe Licht just signs who he wants and Bowles has zero input?

More likely – Bowles tells Licht the players that fit “his system” and Licht goes and gets them. If Bowles has no responsibility for the draft, why is at the combine every year? Why do his coaches go to the senior bowl?

You think Licht signed McCollum to his ridiculous contract without consulting with Bowles first?

Licht has some responsibility, but it’s 50/50 with Bowles and the coaching staff. Add in the game day stupidity and that shifts the majority of the Blame to Bowles.

If Bowles goes, Licht will be on his last HC hire. He hired Koetter and Arians. He did not hire Bowles – that was forced on him by the Glazers and Arians.

And all of you Bowles apologists – why is it that there was ZERO interest in Bowles as a HC candidate after the superbowl? If he was so wonderful, there are plenty of openings every year, yet I don’t recall Todd Bowles being a serious contender for any of them. Ever.

  20. Lol Says:

Won’t defend Bowles any longer. Dude doesn’t have it. We’ll see against ARI but the Bucs really needed a hell of a gameplan 3 weeks in a row and have been embarrassed

  21. Bojim Says:

I went from very confident to little confidence.

  22. Obvious One Says:

I’ve never voted zero confidence. With that said, Bowles hasn’t given me more than two to three weeks of respectable defensive play this entire season.

    * Don’t forget * It was the “defense” that saved our bacon for two to three weeks..

And with that said, SOMETHING MASSIVE HAPPENED WITHIN…… And the dating came right at the trade deadline when the total explosion commenced!

Someone mentioned “losing the team”….. Well… That’s EXACTLY what it “looks like and sounds like” according to the level of give a darn from the locker room conversations. They are playing with NO HEART! NO URGENCY! NO GIVE A FART!

Now. Call it what you will but We Have ALL witnessed the difference in play. From saving the team to Could Care Less…

So Bowles has no control. The players are pretending to play and have no discipline. And there for, they have No Respect for what is or is not happening. The locker room seems lost to me but I’m not there. I just base it on what we All read and SEE with our own eyes…

    Little confidence…

  23. OneAndThree Says:

Completely confident, that Bowles will gain weight and lose more games.

Perhaps getting shredded at home by the Cardinals will finally wake up the Glazers.

Bowles will never be a HC again after this next contract. No other team in the NFL is dumb enough to hire him.

Since he has three more years left after 2025, we might as well embrace the insanity.

  24. Steve Says:

Bring in Gruden for the playoffs!

  25. Smarter than Joe Says:

Confident that the pass defense will rank bottom 10 every year with Bowles

  26. jcscycles Says:

Arians is still on staff as a “consultant”. Both Leftwich and Bowles were his hires.

As long as BA is on staff, it’s going to be hard to get rid of Bowles. I’d say the ties need to be completely cut with BA first.

But who knows what the politics are – both here, and in the rest of the league.

Somethiing for you all to think about.

  27. Tye Says:

Benefiting from other teams inadequacies does NOT make you a good coach…
All it did was pad the stats and make the Bucs STUCK with a BAD HC/DC!

Hopefully the Glaziers grow a pair and bring in a top HC next season…

  28. BA’s Red Pen Says:

    • Little Confidence

  29. Fred McNeil Says:

I have little confidence. If we can beat the tanking Cards that would bode well for another Bowles end-of-season rally. It seems the schedule makers always gift us turkeys to finish out the year. Are we going to win at home on wild card weekend?

  30. Whatevs Says:

Same thing every year under Bowles and Licht.

Not going to change. Fed up with hearing about what ifs, and injuries

If the Glazers are afraid of another lost decade and would rather have years of mediocrity, in lieu of trying to get to a SB, players will stay away from this team.

And so will fans. Pathetic franchise.
