  1. Davenport Says:

Probably my 40th consecutive “No Confidence” vote — its nice to see you guys coming around to my way of thinking.

We don’t win with this guy.
    We just don’t.

  2. Jeff Says:

lol! Todd’s clown show defense was exposed again. This is the same FRAUD that cost the Bucs a chance at a 3rd SuperBowl. Licht and the Glazers know way less about football than we give them credit for. NO MORE!

  3. destinjohnny Says:

if he had a pass rusher he would be fine. people forget its more about talent then coaching.

  4. gotbbucs Says:

Who are the masochist’s who voted totally confident?

  5. Pewter Power Says:

It’s not really Todd Bowles fault he is who he is. It’s like fans are asking him to be a Super Bowl coach and he is not. This is Jason Licht fault! When BA was head coach he gave an offensive coach all the weapons he needed for that Super Bowl run but you can’t get a Bowles pass rushers? You can’t even get a decent back up for vita Vea. Nope every year people are thinking Super Bowl after the draft with rookies and it’s not reality, we were in trouble after David walker went down and he made zero moves. Jason Licht is a scout not a general manager and now Evans and Godwin are too old or injured to make the difference if he had went all in again

  6. Bee Says:

I have no confidence that he can make the necessary adjustments needed to win a championship. Its rinse and repeat every season. He can’t even make simple in game adjustments with special teams. He doesn’t trust the offense with the game on the line on 4th down during the regular season and in the playoffs. No growth whatsoever.

  7. Bee Says:

    Destinjohnny

Sounds like Bowles and Licht should’ve prioritized that during the off-season. Instead they relied on Reddick and YaYa and thought that was enough. Sober football fans saw that the pass rush was broken a few seasons ago.

  8. Evo Says:

I don’t care if we win every game after this upcoming blowout. He’s constantly out-coached and out-schemed in big games. I’ll give him credit for not losing to a lesser team so far, but when are we going to have a chance against the top-tier teams? But who would we replace him with? And he is great at finding OCs.

  9. SteveK Says:

Little confidence in Bowles AND Licht. Licht is failing to give us a bonafide edge rusher on the roster, and not placing Godwin and Bucky on IR is ludicrous. Stupid decisions, toothless edge rush, and potentially shoddy kick coverage on special teams leaves me feeling uninspired. If we lose bc of those weaknesses this weekend, than it’s fair to further question.

Joe- please ask what tactical advantage is there by not placing Bucky and Godwin on IR? I see clear benefit, and makes me think they don’t care about “turning over every stone/doing the due diligence” for the team. It feels like the trade deadline in that Licht says, “muh draft picks”, but can’t start a 10-sack edge rusher.

  10. Bosch Says:

It’s not just the abysmal defensive performance. It has become obvious he has no clue how to correct it.

  11. Chris Says:

It’s the same song and dance every year. Maybe he is behind the times?

  12. Usfbucs Says:

I have said it before and so have others. He seems like a fine HC at this point in his career he needs to be forced to bring in a DC from outside next season. He seems to have the respect of the players, he doesn’t get too high or too low. His downfall is his absolute confidence in the defense he is calling. I think if he had a DC that he might be more objective in his decision making.

  13. El hefe Says:

    Confident

  14. Coconut Doughnut Says:

Wow where was I for this flash poll? I literally look at this site 50 times a day(yeah I poop a lot)

  15. Coconut Doughnut Says:

Can we add a radio button for “Intermittent Confidence”?

  16. Deeboooo Says:

    TC

  17. StormyInFl Says:

Why bother giving Bowles pass rushers when he’d rather have them covering WRs downfield instead?

Perhaps the pass rush issue is that he isn’t allowing his pass rushers to – get this – rush the passer.

    Bowles is the problem.

  18. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Confident, but I didn’t get to vote.

I’m wondering though…how many here voted multiple times? (once per username?)

Had the vote been on next game, I would have voted little confidence.

So far as “Licht is failing to give us a bonafide edge rusher on the roster, and not placing Godwin and Bucky on IR is ludicrous.”

Bucky is returning this week…and Godwin might be. I believe Godwin WAS on IR to start the season.

Licht only has so many picks he can spend, and trades reduce those picks. People forget he had to build the offense before the defense. He’ll build the defense soon enough.

Bowles is a great leader…but he NEEDS to have a DC.

If Bowles had a pass rusher who could produce, he would let him. He has in the past.

The guy brought in to be that, who most here wanted, was Riddick, who has not produced. Thankfully, he’s on a 1 year deal.

  20. buc4evr Says:

As usual, no confidence. This guy will never get the Bucs across the finish line.

  21. Jjuice32 Says:

He obviously doesn’t prioritize pass rushers, 4th yr. of being here and squat for DE. That is part of his problem.

  22. Texas Bucs Fan Says:

When are people going to come to the realization that the coach and his fellow coaches are ever going to a Super Bowl with the Bucs organization!!!!!!!

  23. 813BUCBOI Says:

    TC

    GO BUCS!!!!

  24. heyjude Says:

    Optimistically confident.

  25. Bucs4Ever Says:

Confident in what? That he will suck again?

  26. Davenport Says:

So… Licht gave Arians what he wanted but denied Bowles what he wanted????

    Do you hear yourselves?

Bowles’ scheme doesn’t value traditional edge rushers – he likes to drop them into coverage so he can play blitz genius.

Licht gave Bowles EXACTLY who he wanted.

Its the scheme, and Todd’s stubbornness – that’s to blame here, not Licht.

  27. DBS Says:

No confidence. The only reason we won the games we did was Baker and offensive come backs or bad teams. The defense sucks and he is no mastermind. Time to move on.

  28. Pewter Power Says:

    @Davenport

Uh yea the BA had offensive weapons VETERANS not draft picks. On defense they have VETERAN edge rushers. Two more important positions are passers and pass rushers. Both were free agents when we got a superbowl so wtf is Licht trying to do exactly? Bowles and Licht are happy winning he division now what if they get smashed by Carolina?

  29. Obvious One Says:

Some of you are funny kinda guys. O come on 813. Say it loud and proud! Right or wrong, dam the torpedoes!

    What does “TC” mean?

  30. When is enough ENOUGH Says:

DEI hire, don’t let the politically correct movement make you think it is wrong to think that way. Its not about the fan base. Its what looks good for the ownership and $$’s saved by being cheap.

He is liked and respected by the players because they know he lets them get away with anything. I am sure he never yells, players tell him what to do. His sideline demeanor says it all.

  32. Obvious One Says:

Yeah, it’s not like Cohen doesn’t KNOW BY HEART, Bowles strategies and of course the way he thinks……

And it’s NOT like Todd’s going to give them favorable opportunities ALL GAME LONG! No of course not… (sarcasm) I mean, the bills had Bowles SO FIGURED OUT that their QB was smiling and with no more than a hurried walk across the goal line by the end of the game to the tune of a 44 point THUMPING! It ended up being child’s play and the defensive line was just too tired from covering DOWN FIELD! Bowles does this Every Game! And… I’ve got a funny feeling that Bowles will, “as sure as the sun shines”, WILL at the least, REVERT BACK to the Very Same coverages in this super unfavorable game against the rams..

Houston… we may just have a Very Large PROBLEMS against Carolina as well..

  33. Will Says:

I appreciate his culture approach to a team. The players seem to respect him, but this has become a recurring theme. You can’t expect YaYa Diana to cover downfield. I don’t believe the NFL gives a damn about his blitzes anymore.

  34. Ricki Says:

finally is trending in the right direction, what happened to those very confident ones?

  35. Obvious One Says:

Yeah but Bonzai, He Wasn’t the head coach then and unlike him, Arians kept his eulues o. ALL THINGS concerning his Super Bowl Wi ning team…….. Almost back to back BUT we already know how the story of that season ended, and who’s side of the ball Totally Blew It!

    Just the facts please

  36. Obvious One Says:

    “eyes on” freaking spell manipulator…

  37. Obvious One Says:

Btw bonzai, you’re only allowed to vote once. Well…. per account I suppose. In the real word people aren’t bothering with multiple accounts on a football blog. And if they did, THAT certainly goes Both Ways..

  38. Obvious One Says:

    ALSO….
I see A LOT of people making really good sense in that a DC SHOULD BE brought in. Well Spoken.

But in reality I believe he would resign on the spot at this point. HE’S NOT BUDGING! He’s Far too Stubborn!

My worry/ gleeful excitement, . Only Because I haven’t looked into it yet…., who will replace him? Now THAT’S a conversation worth talking about..

  39. Tye Says:

Leadership is bottom of the barrel so there’s that!

  40. BigZ Says:

    Hes the NFLs Mike Norvell.

  41. firethecannons Says:

I missed the poll, I vote No confidence. FFS he surrendered in the 4th quarter of the game we had with the Bills. 7 minutes left and he punted. No excuse for that.

  42. Badbucs Says:

Only the deliriously optimistic could still be confident in this coach. 4 years of the same old same old. He doesn’t get better. Better players on offense have improved the record a little but the defense is still a wreck whenever we play a competitive team. Time for Todd to go.
