“‘The Enforcer’ Is Back”
November 7th, 2025Part of the buzz around One Buc Palace was about guys enjoying a week-long breather, recharging their batteries and not worrying about football for a change.
And while a return to football was on everyone’s mind after last week’s bye, another return seemed to energize the locker room.
Bucs starting right tackle Luke Goedeke practiced for the first time since leaving the Week 2 game against Houston with a foot injury. ]
Baker Mayfield was stoked to have Goedeke back on the practice field, though he’s still on the injured reserve list.
“He’s definitely a tone-setter with the way he prepares and the way he practices,” Bucs offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard said. “Anytime you can get someone back – no matter what position it is – in terms of a starter, it’s always going to elevate you with the communication levels with those guys, the comfortability with them being able to play together, know exactly what they’re thinking, and, like you said, then his personality as well.”
Goedeke certainly has a big personality, one that endears him to teammates but irritates the daylights out of opposing defenders.
Grizzard referred to Goedeke’s personality: “tone-setter, being a little bit of a meathead and going out there and be able to pound people.”
Goedeke certainly adds physicality to the Bucs’ front line. Even left tackle Tristan Wirfs was pumped.
“‘The Enforcer’ is back,” Wirfs said. “It is great seeing him back out there practicing. Being who he is, chirping people — already on his second day of practice for him and he is chirping guys.
“Having him back is awesome. That is our guy, however it shakes out this week, we will be ready to go.”
Mayfield and Wirfs made it clear they like Charlie Heck, who has started in place of Goedeke. They praised Heck for the job he’s done but acknowledged the fourth-year man from Central Michigan, Goedeke, adds spice and physicality to the Bucs’ offensive line.
“Charlie [Heck] has done an amazing job this year,” Wirfs said. “If we can get Luke [Goedeke] back, great, if not, then Charlie is ready to go.”
Maybe, just maybe, the Bucs’ offensive line will be the healthiest it has been all season on Sunday. That’s not a bad thing.

Not a bad thing at all!!!!!
lets hope that wirfs, bredenson & barton have snapped out of their funk and we’ll be all set!!!!
lets run it down the PATS throat!!!!!!
GO BUCS!!!!!

Luke, Cade, Baher, Bucky, Cody & Payne….
Sounds like a bunch of ranchers on Yellowstone!!!
November 7th, 2025 at 7:52 am
I hope they all want a redo of first and goal!
Go Bucs!

Him and Bucky are the biggest X factors on our offense for now. Then Mike but he can’t come back till later, if at all… I pray we have a fully healthy team (and are still in playoff race) come January.

I always worry about guys coming off of an injury. Dont want anybody to overdue it.
November 7th, 2025 at 8:23 am
How much would it shake NE’s confidence if they ripped off some 10 and 20 yard runs?
November 7th, 2025 at 8:23 am
There’s a reason Luke makes a gazillion per year and Heck drives a used Hyundai
November 7th, 2025 at 8:35 am
I doubt Luke plays this Sunday but expect to see him on the field against Buffalo

@813:
“lets run it down the PATS throat!!!!!!”
Love your enthusiasm…but tap the brakes. Not one running back has gone for over 50 yards on the Pats D this year. I expect the Bucs will lean on the pass…a lot.

Bucs should sign Bobby Bouche, Waterboy, he is better then anyone on that defense, Momma says
November 7th, 2025 at 9:20 am
Wirfs and Luke are the straws that stir the drink. Need the thumper back asap. And our backup RG is a bit need (not 3rd string rotation).
November 7th, 2025 at 9:22 am
we need to get the run game going so hope this helps!
November 7th, 2025 at 9:24 am
If we don’t have a better scheme and we get baker from past 2 games… won’t matter whose playing o line
November 7th, 2025 at 9:25 am
Well momma is wrong again!
November 7th, 2025 at 9:46 am
The coaching staff needs to put Haggard in at right guard he is the best depth player we have on that O line and if Goedeke is in and Haggard backing up at right guard is in then we will definitely be able to run on the Patriots. That is the key to victory.

TBBF, LOL. That’s good!
November 7th, 2025 at 9:57 am
No back has gone off YET. We can be the first
November 7th, 2025 at 10:42 am
is it just me or have the Bucs become weird at handling injury news? First time I thought about it was Ryan Jensen. We still, to this day, don’t know what his injury was. We never knew.
Then this year it’s been Godwin coming back and going back out. Bucky’s weird shoulder/ankle saga. And then Egbuka randomly playing against detroit.

I saw a report that CG13 and BI7 may be out until December! Next Man Up!!!
November 7th, 2025 at 10:58 am
I saw a report that said your Momma may be out until Jan
November 7th, 2025 at 11:05 am
Lt Dan
imo, they’ll be expecting that…
they wont be expecting us to run, run and run again….
as long as we get the W im good lol….
GO BUCS!!!!
November 7th, 2025 at 11:35 am
Patriots haven’t exactly faced a ton of strong rushing offenses either other than Buffalo.
November 7th, 2025 at 11:58 am
Charlie Heck is the new Aaron Stinnie. Bucs fans appreciate the contribution and will remember him fondly, but it’s time to get the better player on the field.
November 7th, 2025 at 12:16 pm
Sounds like Goedeke may be back for the Patriots. Either way I am confident the Buccaneers win this contest at home !!
The Pats are going to be very surprised at the offensive and defensive strength of the Bucs !!
You gotta Believe!! Hang on to your chairs Bucs fans !! This is going to be Huge !!
Go Bucs !! Beat the Patriots!!
November 7th, 2025 at 12:16 pm
maybe big luke is just the guy to get this line out of the little funk they’ve been in…
let’s beat the pats at their own game on sunday…and that all starts with running the ball right down their throat…
we’re healthier and rested, let’s do this…!
#TeamRoadgrade

the pats have played and beaten scrubs all year…
literally the scrubbiest teams in the league…
they are the worst top tier record type team in all of the nfl…
they’re = to a 5-4 team
November 7th, 2025 at 12:23 pm
Who’s playing RG ,,, I’ve heard of three headed monster at RB but never heard of the three headed back up monster at RG
November 7th, 2025 at 12:26 pm
A lot of positives here …
1. 4 of 5 Starting OL. Healthiest we’ve been all years.
2. Experienced Backups.
We’ll feel the same level of comfort once we start getting a few WR back, as well.
