Sean Tucker’s Big Day
November 17th, 2025
Tristan Wirfs is ready to road grade on Sean Tucker’s 43-yard touchdown run at Buffalo.
Sean Tucker sure likes New York state.
After being a total stud for Syracuse University, yesterday Tucker returned to the Empire State, again in western New York. And he blew up.
If only Tucker had a chance to tote the rock on fourth-and-two from the Bucs-39 (and third-and-2). We can only wonder, “What if?”
Tucker had his second strong outing in as many games as he ran for 106 yards on 19 carries. He also caught a 28-yard touchdown pass.
If it wasn’t for Josh Allen, nearly all Joe would be talking about today is Sean Tucker’s fantastic game.
Tucker’s 106 yards was his second-best career day. He had 136 yards last year against the slimy Saints in Lincoln’s Tomb.
Tucker’s 140 total yards from scrimmage (106 rushing, 34 receiving) also were good for second-best of his career. Again, last year against the slimy Saints, Tucker had 192 yards from scrimmage and won NFC Offensive Player of the Week.
Sunday also marked Tucker’s first three-touchdown game and first multi-rushing touchdown game.
Until Bucky Irving gets healthy, Joe is of the mind Tucker needs to see the majority of touches in the Bucs’ running game.

No more Tucker slander.

Yeah? So what. They lost.
They quit on Defense.
They quit on Special Teams. And the idiots coaching this team let them return how many before smartening up and booting it through the end zone.
Disgusted.
You know what really gets me? I believed this team was going to be special.
I got fooled.

All for not!

Yet we punted on 4th & 2 with the game on the line. It’s time for a new HC.
November 17th, 2025 at 7:20 am
ModHair has a point. It’s not like this wasn’t happening in other games so why didn’t Bowles learn and just have them kick it out of bounds. That just shows you what type of idiots are running the show.
November 17th, 2025 at 7:22 am
Something I was impressed with was his speed while completing the pass in stride combined with upfield burst. Didn’t hesitate or bobble the football.
November 17th, 2025 at 7:24 am
This is one thing I will never understand. Why do coaches not just stick with the thing that is working? We averaged over 5 yards per carry but when we need a short gain and we could have used two downs to get it we go with a pass then punt.
Everyone who posts here knew the game was over if we punted so why didn’t the coaches understand that too?

Bowles Insanity repeats itself, last year chiefs and lions, this year bills
November 17th, 2025 at 7:43 am
This behavior by Grizzard of not running on 3rd and 3 or 4th and 2 is nothing new-Grizz called it this way in the last game also when game was still in doubt. Grizzard is failing at the most basic play calls.
November 17th, 2025 at 7:47 am
I think most of us have been saying that for a while!!!!

Great to see Wirfs running full speed — the big guy is healthy again.

Proud of Tucker.
Proud of Mayfield.
A few players on defence balled out. Proud of those players. Others sucked.
Offense was improved. Proud of that.
Special Teams was a huge downer. Second largest disappointment.
Biggest Disappointment: Todd Bowles.
He quit. When it becomes clear you cannot win, you don’t quit. You go down fighting. Why? Because it sets an example to the players.
Yesterday, Todd told the players it’s okay to quit. I hate that.
As to going for two the first time, I understood why they did it. There was more than a three point difference, so a TD was needed either way.
Grizz made that call, not Todd Bowles.

Because we fell into a deep hole.

All for not.
Bills defense was bad…
Bucs defense was even worse…
Great job Bowels!

The problem is that when Bucky comes back, Tucker will return to the bench. It looks like Tucker can play with the big boys but next week watch the Rams shut down the run game. It is a Bucs’ life. Fire Bowles.

Tucker has that “killer instinct” Baker was talking about. He was playing angry running back football. Sadly, he’ll still be third string because we have a coaching staff that can’t use the players they have properly or develop them.
November 17th, 2025 at 8:47 am
If we get Bucky back. If we get Godwin back. God knows we’ve given them time enough to get back. Maybe getting them extra healthy. Godwin is our best possession receiver. He catches the ball on third down. Bucky as a backup RB is an elite playmaker. He’s even a deep ball threat. Our QB trusts them. Our line is better. Our offense is going to be one of the very strongest in the league from this point forward. We could easily average 35 points a game here on out. Don’t know if that’ll get us the 1 seed. It could. Baker woke the offense up! The coaching staff, special teams and defense may not have a leader to wake them up. We’ll see. If that leader appears we can round into a playoff team. With Mike Evans on fresh legs. This season is not over yet. Not by a country mile.

Tucker was the only bright spot of the day
November 17th, 2025 at 8:53 am
I just hate that we have such a clown show as coaches, we are so talented and they are wasting our talent for the last 3 years
November 17th, 2025 at 9:06 am
Tucker was the sun shining in the gloomy weather. He did phenomenal. We are missing Mike, that is for sure. We get Mike and Chris back in December and they are at 100%, we will be rock and rolling. Unsure about Jalen. He needs to take care of the neck.

“White isn’t Bucky by any means – but he’s in a completely different class than Tucker, who is a one trick pony with very limited vision.”
-Rod Munch
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

This is more a special teams and offense mess up defense wasn’t great but out of the three groups they did the better job the special teams was terrible the offense did good for half the game and the defense was tired of being on the field I do agree tho the defense can’t expect dline to cover rbs and wrs
November 17th, 2025 at 9:17 am
Wow it only took Bowles into Tucker’s 3rd season to give him a legit chance at contributing. Bowles has been so stuck on Rashaad White. Tucker is going to be playing elsewhere and playing well next season. And Bucs will regret not giving him more opportunities over his 3 years here.
November 17th, 2025 at 9:18 am
every once in awhile tucker is going to be nfc offensive player of the week, scoring multiple touchdowns including receiving ones, showing blazing speed getting to the outside, hitting holes without doing stupid feet shuffling.
then he’ll go back to being behind white on the depth chart for no reason except the coaching staff and gm are morons and have to keep up appearances.
November 17th, 2025 at 9:29 am
Warren, yes, Munch took a personal dislike to Tucker almost from go. Much like his weirdness with Baker. I’ve been wanting him to get more touches and he finally did and he showed why that was a good move. Personally, I think he should be rb2 which doesn’t take anything away from White who is more of a a rb/wr. And white is clearly the best in passpro. But Tucker is the most pure running back. We have. Size, speed, vision. Bucky has vision and great lateral movement. Pedestrian speed compared to Tucker. And obviously below average size. But it is creativity makes him a plus back.
November 17th, 2025 at 9:36 am
Maybe have braswell run a couple routes have it from a good source that he is going to breakout. They are probably just playing him out of position.
November 17th, 2025 at 9:42 am
El hefe. You do know saying the defense was tired of being on the field counters your argument? They were never on the field long enough to work up a sweat. 94 yard drive in 4 plays? Yuck. After Mayfield’s pick one play 25 yard touchdown. Baker and the offense quickly regained the lead. And sadly immediately lost the lead only to be denied an opportunity so our coaching staff and defense could continue soiling their entire wardrobe. Our offense looked top three in the league. Our defense, meanwhile, has alot of work to do.
November 17th, 2025 at 9:58 am
No sacks, 317 yards and Three passing TDs plus two long running TDs. Tells me all I need to know about this pathetic excuse for a defense and the DC. Special Teams was totally broke so why didn’t the Bucs kick the ball out of the end zone? Overall another spectacular fail for Bowles. Not sure I can watch them get slaughtered against the Rams. I blame Jason just as much for ignoring the need for a pass rush. Soft, stupid coaches and a soft defense that Baker cant save no matter how hard he tries.
November 17th, 2025 at 10:32 am
Doesn’t matter we abandoned it like normal and lost again. Wait till next week glad I go to bed early and wo t watchtower the LA disgrace
November 17th, 2025 at 10:34 am
“I’ve been wanting him to get more touches and he finally did and he showed why that was a good move.”
108 snaps/16% of our offensive snaps
58 touches
265 total yards
5 TDs
The fact it took up to our 10th game to tap into Tuckers’ potential is bad talent evaluation & usage in my opinion. A bonus is Tucker is an RFA this upcoming offseason, we need to bring him back and give him a bigger role moving forward.
Also, on that pass from Baker, I hope Joe saw why 40 times are still relevant and the difference between 4.5 speed and Seans’ 4.3 speed on that particular pass because he didn’t even break stride and looked to speed up while simultaneously hauling in a good ball from Mayfield. Not to mention, turning the corner on that long run with Jordan & Wirfs setting him up with space.
November 17th, 2025 at 10:47 am
It’s the saints game all over again. Tucker get a legit opportunity and blows up, now he will go back to being the number 3 guy and returning kicks. We will never see him again.
