Promising Injury Report

November 28th, 2025

Limited in practice.

For an injury report issued on Thanksgiving Day, Joe guesses this could be worse. Included was good news about some key Bucs.

First, Baker Mayfield, Ben Bredeson, Baker Mayfield, Benjamin Morrison, Anthony Nelson and Haason Reddick all practiced, though they were all limited. At least those guys getting on the field is a step in the right direction.

Additionally, Jamel Dean, Chris Godwin and Bucky Irving were all full participants. Why is Joe giddy about Dean? Well, aside from the fact he’s having a fantastic season (aside from his injuries), the Bucs the past two seasons have won just two games in which Dean could not start. Joe doesn’t believe in coincidences in the NFL.

Meanwhile, the Cardinals’ injury report looks like a third of the team is listed. Key people Bucs fans want to know about are Trey Benson, Will Hernandez, Walter Nolen and Josh Sweat. Each did not practice on Thursday.

Don’t matter how good it is, it’s too late.

Dean may be injury prone, but I doubt if has ever gotten “bored” on the field and allowed opposing receiver to boatrace him like Zyon did in LA. Plus Dean is playing for his next contract elsewhere, Zyon got paid and it shows. If Bowles really wants to send a message, how about benching Zyon and putting Parrish in his place? But Bowles doesn’t roll that way, he will probably leave Zyon in for all the snaps but take Dean out and put Morrison in like he did in Buffalo and watch Morrison get lit up like a Roman candle. At least Zyon will not be targeted if Benjie M is on the field. It’s a Bucs’ life.

Let’s hope Dean can stay healthy.

Baker + the Gizzer + Tood (awful defense + o awareness of awful) = Big Suck.

    Stop.

Jason’s replacement list for the Tood is an exciting concept.

This is A Bunch of Good News! Boy did we need good news. I haven’t quite given up on our season as many have but I Certainly Understand WHY so many are done with the whole thing.

Bowles hasn’t lived up to his part of the bargain… Neither has Grizzard.

On the other hand if If IF, our offense can pick up this team and carry it on their backs, We Still have a chance to do some damage by pulling the nose up from this straight down nose dive.. I sure wouldn’t mind a run at the title BUT Todd IS GONNA HAVE TO switch up his play calling to a bit more traditional type of game plan. He’s going to, HAVE TO STOP … with the nonsense he keeps forcing onto the field for one. Giant backs attempting to cover wide receivers. That HAS TO Stop! And FIND A WAY.. TO RUSH THE PASSER IN A MORE TRADITIONAL MANNER if possible. Regardless of that, GET TO THE QB AND SMASH HIM INTO THE GROUND!

Mix it up. A four/ three package occasionally here and there. MOVEMENT… would be nice.. Squeeze them. Control the clock “with purpose” instead of crawling around in no particular direction or meaning. Our problem IS “functionality” on both the Offense And Defense… It’s been SO HARD to even watch. I admit it. I turned my tv off in the third quarter last week. Leaderless, No Purpose, No Heart, No clear Direction, and NO FUNCTIONALITY! WE NEED AN ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT! And it HAS TO come from “Within”..

We “could” turn this around with our Offensive weapons coming back on line. But Someone, Anyone, has to take the steering wheel and Race Us into the Winners Circle!

I Don’t see who as far as the total and whole team that can do that, but IF Baker can stay reasonably healthy…. the Offense Could put this on their back as they have before.

Problem is, I Don trust Grizzard has enough of a game plan or the creativity to make it work “on the fly”. And I Certainly Don’t trust Bowles to rally the defense much less come up with a “COMPREHENSIVE” game plan. And the strategies have become CHILDS PLAY. Weird and Bizzare AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, IT DOESN’T FUNCTION!

Let’s “hope” an epiphany falls apon Bowles so that we can enjoy watching our team play again. Because As It Stands…. Bowles and or Licht HAVE LOST THE DEFENSIVE SIDE OF THE LOCKER ROOM! I believe Baker is Still holding the Offensive side together.

And finally, Baker is going to have to get his grove back. He’s in his own head for some reason. Maybe it’s pain, maybe it’s something else. Either Way, he’s going to Have To snap out of it and Snap Into a Slim Jim instead! He can do it! He just needs some support.

Brissett will carve up Frodd Bowels like a ham.

Seasons over….get used to it…and yeah it sucks, but there’s next year. So lets draft….

LB Sonny Styles or CJ Allen
DT Amauri Washington (My wish Christen is gone)
    TE Trigg
    QB Sawyer Robertson

  8. Greg-therealone Says:

How do you figure the seasons over? They are 6-5 and unless the tires come off completely will almost certainly win the division. If the tires do come off …. well, the team will probably go coach shopping. The Bucs do this every year lately. injuries in the middle of the season and they stumble. Granted this was nastier than usual but seriously? Once you are in the playoffs anything can happen. 2020 I never expected them to cruise the playoffs and then pound the Chiefs the way they did. Who knows?

  9. MadMax Says:

Its easy to explain @Greg….facts and feel…..i hope im wrong and wish i shared your enthusiasm….but i know already, its over my friend….8 ball says no.

The Cardinals could be psyching the Bucs out so they don’t take this seriously. They must take it very seriously no matter what the Cardinals injuries may or may not be.

Teddy isn’t on our list this week. He has been on it for personal and teeth. Could Todd be psyching them out too? We could see Baker on the field. My only fear is that the other team will be going for him, so the defense needs to be in top form.

  11. MJ Says:

best news? charlotte plays the Rams LOL

best injury news of the season so far, just missing Calijah, JMAC and ME13

  12. JohnQCitizen Says:

Why the love affair with Dean? He’s having a good year now (when he plays), but he hasn’t been anything but fair in previous years and has missed WAY too much playing time to injuries. I won’t miss him next year.

  13. Beeej Says:

Just going by wins/losses, the team needs Dean even more than Mike

  14. Hodad Says:

Make no mistake, Todd’s coaching for his job this Sunday. This Buc team should be ready to slaughter someone after the way they’ve played the last 3 weeks. The perfect tomato can is coming to town for a fight, and the Bucs better knock them out. A loss to the lowly Cards would seal Todd’s fate. He knows it, his players must know it. They all better do something about, and kick tail Sunday. Jobs will depend on it!

  15. Razorramone Says:

I had the same take. These guys should be ready to walk over hot coals this Sunday. Their effort level should be thru the roof.

  16. DBS Says:

Reading injury reports is like looking for information. Don’t believe everything you read. Even if Dean returns it’s likely within 2 games he will be out again.

  17. Vegasbuc Says:

    Fire Todd

  18. Oneilbuc Says:

Should have kept Trask but y’all wanted him gone so bad and now look who’s going to be the starter? Lol 😂😂 Bridgewater has already said he would rather be coaching then playing but Todd Bowles don’t care if he likes a player they’re going to start . It took him 6 games to start Bucky Irvin last year because Bowles love Rashad White.

  19. Robert Says:

Oldbucsfan, it is never too late . If you make the playoffs you have a chance. You are definitely an old bucs fan, no faith, never have never will.

  20. Obvious Says:

Maybe Mike Florio will clarify that “anytime soon” means a week and a half, re: Irving

  21. Oneilbuc Says:

Robert. You right I have no faith in Bridgewater because he hasn’t played in a game in 2 years. And just looking at this team at this point of the season this is not a Superbowl team or a NFC Championship team. But my expectations is to at least get to the NFC Championship because if we can’t do that this year than it’s time to move on from Bowles and draft a quarterback in the first round to sit behind Baker for a year or until the young quarterback is ready no rush. You have to get younger.
