TheBucsAnthem – Stop whining. We all know the Bucs lose this game. Doesn’t matter if the Bucs were 11-0 right now, they’d still lose this game. It’s just the way things are. Get out of this game healthy, and then the playoff run starts next week.
For the Bucs to even have a chance to win tonight , the Rams would have to fall apart and Sean McVay would have to coach the crappiest game of his life and we both know that will never happen.
Rest assured Todd worked really this week on developing a game plan for his excuses tomorrow. The fans are restless when he repeats himself… got to do better, we have to coach better, next man up, injuries are not excuses, and so on. This week he expects a bloodbath so he’s extra focused on new excuses… shoes untied even though he wears Velcro, etc.
A defensive head coach who more often than not has to get bailed out by his offense. Goodwin will be rusty, the offense won’t be sharp and because we play a good team we know the defense will get shredded plus it’s a prime time game.
I find it funny that people are looking forward to an “easier schedule”, thats how much faith they have in this team. Winning down the stretch means nothing for this team. Can they make it deep in the playoffs? We’ll find out soon enough.
Stafford converts a lot of 3rd downs controlling time of possession. Defense gasses out mid 3rd quarter. Bucs get a second wind but fizzle out midfield on a failed 4th down conversion. 20-28 Rams. I would be happy to be wrong.
Bee just hit the nail on the head. If this team can’t win big games it’s all for nothing. Beating the Saints and Cardinals should be expected at this point of the build. This team has failed to take the next step in attitude and personnel. They are brittle and weak minded.
If THIS is the same team you take into the playoffs, then yes, doom and gloom, all is lost, etc etc etc. The entire point of not being a crybaby d-bag is that the team SHOULD be getting healthy.
Tonight the team is missing, LG1, RG2, RG3, RB1, WR1, WR4, DE1, EDGE 2, CB1 – and ALL of those guys should be back if they make the playoffs.
That’s why it’s not all doom and gloom you boring drama queens.
Tonight is a game the team loses in 2002 and 2020, it’s just the way it is, and has zero bearing on the rest of the year other than the record.
Deeboooo. They’re stingy on defense. It sure helps we’ve got our tackles playing well. That’ll make alot of difference. And Jordan and Feeney have to hold out a little longer. Barton looked better last week. So our Oline is in pretty good shape and everybody knows that’s where it starts. Q back looking healthy. I’m worried that we haven’t got the DLine that we’re gonna need. But if the defense comes out in a real foul mood for 4 quarters then I like our chances.

Munch, you make a good point. But we still have Toad Bowels as the HC. Do you think Bowels is capable of winning a Super Bowl? I do not.
————
You just need a QB to get hot at the right time, and anything is possible. I mean look at Mike McCarthy – he’s the same caliber coach as Bowles and he won a SB, so it’s possible.
Baker will keep it close, Bowles will screw it up.
Bowles continues to get a pass for his continual mistakes. The defense will not be changed, same stupid alignments. Not sure that I can watch this game if it gets out of hand early.
Todd needs to go and Jason can go with him. Both have contributed to the position this team is in. Not all of it is injuries.
I gotta say, that’s a pretty good analogy Munch. McCarthy was a very pedestrian coach. I’ll try to share your optimism. I do believe the roster has the potential, particularly if we get Kancey back.
You only get what you pay for. We seem on YouTube the other day about what NFL coaches make, Bowles was the lowest. Lose by 20 tonight. Arizona playing Jags tough right now. Reddick was a gamble like Baker was, got Baker right, but Reddick not making much difference. He did have a nice TFL in the Jets game on 4th down. Malfeasance by Licht for not picking up Phillips for a 3rd rounder. Would’ve got it back probably if he left in FA in the spring, if not, he replaces Reddick next year. Absolutely no guarantee you get anyone better than Jaelen Phillips with a 3rd round pick.

My optimism is based purely on getting guys back – if that happens, that’s a ton of talent to get back at a time when most teams are losing guys. If that happens, and Baker gets hot, then I think they could have a real chance, in particular vs teams that already played and beat a beat up Tampa team, and just assume they’ll do it again.
The season is already where it is, and I’m not ready for draft talk – so the only thing to do is look forward, and it’s not blind faith, there’s a legit reason to be optimistic.
I think we win on the final possession. Surely with last weeks game to think on if the game is close Bowles will choose the offense this week and we will run the ball for those two yards we need.
At least we aren’t the Giants, there’s a month left in the season and they have already been eliminated from the playoff race.
We could also be the Vikings. Draft a QB in 2024 that people are already calling a bust and let a guy go who played really well for you last year and who is playing well for his new team this year.
We just need a little bit smarter decision making and to not give up multiple big plays. The only lose we really got our butts handed to us was the Lions.
NE scored all three of their TDs on long plays (72, 55, and 69 yards) and only really drove the ball down the field once.
The Eagles was poor special teams that cost us the game.
Bills loss was big plays, special teams, and poor coaching that cost us the game.
We win !!!
Our losses have come down to a few plays. Our offense has shown improvement and potential. We have been getting takeaways and crucial stops on D.
If all 3 units can just play GOOD and maybe 1 or 2 VERY GOOD we’ve got a good shot. Baker needs to be calm cool and collected and Grizz needs to call his best game yet. We have to get pressure and avoid explosives!

I do like that on the national broadcast, all the people picking, choose the Rams, not a single one took the Bucs. …….and if that gives you a second for pause…..I dunno what will.
This team has no passion or fight in them.
The ONLY PLAYER that is fighting is Baker Mayfield……..seriously, this sucks so bad right now

No chance, unless they knock out Stafford.
November 23rd, 2025 at 5:11 pm
Depending on how much the Bucs lose tonight should give the Glazers some thoughts on why they’re holding onto Jason Licht and Todd Bowles.
Seriously, we all knew that the Bucs needed help on the Defense and yet they draft a WR in the first round?????
The Bucs could’ve traded down and picked up an additional pick but they didn’t.
Jason Licht could’ve been more aggressive in Free Agency to get more players to help this team but he didn’t.
They’re both at fault for this mess the Bucs are in now

Godwin 28.5 yards – OVER
I assume Rams get out to big lead, then the Bucs get some garbage time stats.

November 23rd, 2025 at 6:41 pm
Barring Baker being injured…we will make the playoffs…and that’s all that matters right now.
A win tonight would be excellent, but a loss would not end the season. We’ll go on a win streak after this.
