Joe is turning into Skip Bayless 😂
LAY OFF THE SAGE!!!!
November 19th, 2025 at 11:25 am
Did the Bucs play a bad game in Buffalo.
Yes & No………Defense, ST Bad Offense Good
But coaching horrible
We don’t have and edge rush because we have not invested in one……we have a 3rd round pick…YaYa…..and a 4th round pick Nelson. The JTS 1st round pick was a waste.
And apparently a failed Injured FA Reddick
Look at the Oline…..2 first round and 2 second round picks.
WR……2 first round….2 3rd round picks
D line
November 19th, 2025 at 11:26 am
D line 3 first round picks
NO investment in Edge
November 19th, 2025 at 11:34 am
Bottom line is … we are in another mid season slump under Bowles ! No excuses please ! This is a constant under Bowles leadership ! This team is not getting the job done ! Counting on beating weak teams to finish the season and crawl into the playoffs again just to lose the first round enthuses no one ! !
November 19th, 2025 at 12:01 pm
Inactivity at the trade deadline looks worse with every mounting loss. Why are the Special Teams coaches still employed by the Bucs?
November 19th, 2025 at 12:09 pm
Joe is an inarticulate, unhinged man baby. Reminds of another high profile public figure that can’t make cogent arguments effectively and as a result devolves immediately into temper tantrums.
It’s embarrassing
November 19th, 2025 at 12:13 pm
Have to agree with him challenging Ira and I like Ira as he is reasonable, knows his football and has always been a professional journalist.
HOWEVER, to say the least Bucs played a good game because they were “competitive” is something I strongly disagree with.
When your special teams are running down the field and not doing their assignments to keep the returner in the middle of the field and at least force him to run into the “bunch” around the 25 and suppose he squeezes out to the 28-35, that is t “good football” it’s average. Anything beyond the 40 is plain and simple: BAD. Past the 50 is terrible.
Then the defense. You have to look at the cumulative past 2 games not just Sunday at Buffalo and Ira in my opinion is off because even if they don’t have the horses, a good zone team can be soft and prevent big plays but the Bucs gave up big plays of around 6 to brown in both games that have been over 40 yards, that is inexcusable that a defensive coordinator who happens to have too many responsibilities to be a head coach besides cannot scheme to stop these long throws it into coverage by the way. Wide open guys catching short passes on the perimeters or being open in the end zone and not having g good coverage. That is t bad, that is disastrous.
So if your defense is a catastrophe with the easy TDs and special teams is as bad you cannot say they played a good game just because they were competitive on the scoreboard.
it is not disastrous having Josh Allen run up the middle for TDs but giving up long touchdowns to backup receivers who no one has ever heard of on Nde England and Buffalo is bad football.
I won’t argue that Ira is using common sense with his picks but I will argue that the way the Bucs are losing is because they playing good football is looking at the games with low expectations.
Going back in time when Ricky Prohl caught that perfect throw from Kurt with great coverage to beat the Bucs in NFC Championship, that was getting beat by a great play. These Bucs are getting beat by playing bad defense with guys making mistakes and not understanding where to be in coverage. This team is supposed to have “star” players making impact plays, especially McCollum and Winfield who are amongst the highest paid players on the team. It is bad coaching or them being content and not taking the responsibility to play better and help cover these opponents from taking these receptions to the house.
Scheme the defense to bend but not break.
November 19th, 2025 at 12:15 pm
Ira’s Josh Allen aas kissing is also embarrassing. Why bother lining up against him if he is so fn good. Give me a break? Maybe our defense should offer up some resistance for a change instead of letting teams have their way up and down the field, receivers running wide aas open all day and all season long. Horrendous to watch. Mike Smithesque.
You are no sage sir.

Lee is a child. Storming off the podcast because he disagrees with Ira. Grow up Lee it’s a damn game. You’re gonna have a heart attack over a game. Disagree but you don’t have to act like my 5 year old
November 19th, 2025 at 12:24 pm
WOW ! WOW ! WOW ! That was music to my ears. It needed to be said. Thank you, thank you Lee. Mr. Sycophant has dropped his drawers.
November 19th, 2025 at 12:24 pm
Blame Licht as Todd has to manufacture pass rush ..Licht has failed and drafted bums in the first 2 rds and not signed anyone with upside.
November 19th, 2025 at 12:25 pm
Moderated of course. Thanks Lee.
November 19th, 2025 at 12:25 pm
Cmon Joe! Storming off the podcast for disagreeing about a game is not a good look. Stop moderating my posts calling you out for acting like a baby. Grow up, it’s A GAME. You’re gonna have a heart attack over A GAME
November 19th, 2025 at 12:27 pm
Leave it to a raging brisket to be hyper fixated on a Politician to bring it up in a Bucs blog..lmao

It was long over due and needed to be said. Thanks.

Johnnythefool- hilarious that you knew exactly who I was referring to by that analogy! Kind of proves my point.
Pull your rediculous Jhina hat over your wet eyes and cry some more!

One Joe has plenty of emotion, but little logic. Emotion isn’t a valid argument. The other seems better grounded. But hey, it’s their site. Don’t watch or listen if you don’t like it.
November 19th, 2025 at 1:00 pm
Emotions gone wild podcast! Holy Moly!
Agree with Ira, “The sky isn’t falling.”
Playing at Buffalo is not pretty. However, don’t think Josh will be MVP. Not Stafford either. Still rooting for Baker. A lot of games left.
It’s not all on Todd. A lot of other impacts going on. Ref calls, injuries, I sure hope we win the Rams!
November 19th, 2025 at 1:06 pm
Dad had many brothers. I only have 2 brothers. Very headstrong brothers. And 4 equally stubborn sons. So me and old Junebug’s favorite podcast “clash” was really rather tepid. Interested listeners and Bucs fans widespread can be excused the hearty belly laugh. Anyway, Damn Right Fellas!!
November 19th, 2025 at 1:29 pm
Dekemper is a weirdo
November 19th, 2025 at 1:55 pm
1) Allen is not Rattler
2) Morrison is not Dean
3) Bucs ST gave Bills short field the whole game
4) Grizzard blew it on 3rd and 2 calling a pass to Shepard- reminded me of the fade pass in corner of end zone call to Shepard in previous game
5) Vea is probably playing injured- was not effective vs Bills
6) Mayfield threw a costly interception
That’s why they lost to Bills
November 19th, 2025 at 1:57 pm
Ragingbrisketpenixlover I know your point because you are hyper fixated on another dude so much, take that junk over to The Blue Oyster this is a Bucs website.
November 19th, 2025 at 2:09 pm
EO – great points.
It’s not the losses, it’s the way the losses are happening under a defensive minded head coach.
If you get beat by a great play, so be it. Tip your hat and move on. If you’re getting beat like we have the last 2 weeks, by blown assignments, big explosive plays on both the ground and thru the air, big time problem.
I will expect the team to rally in week 13 and go on another small roll to end the season but unless they can come out and pull out a win on Sunday night I have low expectations regarding making any noise in January, even with the rest of the injured players back.
November 19th, 2025 at 2:45 pm
The great Steve Duemig would have loved this. I hope he was listening. R.I.P.
But he would not have liked the walk off. That’s not how it’s done.
Both of you are correct, which is what makes this a good discussion.
November 19th, 2025 at 3:04 pm
Love the passion Lee. Especially regarding the lack of pass rush and Bowles lack of concern over having one. Bowles thinks he can send defensive ends out into coverage to chase WR’s and RB’s and blitz his way to sacks and an eventual super bowl win…..NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN BOWLES AND JASON LICHT.
November 19th, 2025 at 3:10 pm
johnnythefool- you clearly knew my reference and were immediately offended just like the thin-skinned whiny lil btchz you feel obligated to defend. Speaking of fixated on things other than Bucs I haven’t seen you say anything remotely related to the topic of this Bucs discussion and instead are choosing to continue crying into your rediculous Jhina hat like man baby.
As far as this Penix lover thing I’d be curious where this comes from? Maybe it’s related to this other reference to a Blue Oyster. You’ll have to explain this but somehow I get the sense you won’t because it will only reveal something humiliating about yourself. Look forward to your next self-defeating response!
November 19th, 2025 at 3:12 pm
With my point about not making investments with Edge……I forgot 2nd round pick Braswell (easy to forget)……that certainly hasn’t worked out yet and may never will.
November 19th, 2025 at 3:22 pm
Braswell is certainly shocking the world with his lack of production. At this point use a 2 man rush and drop everyone into coverage 🏴☠️
November 19th, 2025 at 4:02 pm
I wonder how many times Simeon Rice dropped into coverage in his football career…Good thing he didn’t have to play for Bowles.
November 19th, 2025 at 4:05 pm
Totally on Lee’s side here. How many podcasts have we had this argument? And then when Sean comes on Ira agrees with him that they need an edge rush and Bowles messes with him. Ira I love you, I love this site. I appreciate everything that is done here. Things needs to change. Special teams coordinator being one of them and Bowles relinquishing defensive play calling. Now I understand he may not want to, but it’s about the team. I’m tired of these midesason slumps. If he doesn’t want to give it up, ultimatum time, let him retire then. I like him, I think he can be a good HC. He’s been willing to adapt and I know the Jets experience has him shook, and that may be why he wouldn’t want to give it up, but this is a passing league and how do you stop the pass? With edge rushers.
November 19th, 2025 at 5:01 pm
Roscoe, what is the problem exactly?
November 19th, 2025 at 5:21 pm
Lee accused Ira of causing listeners to turn off the podcast, when it was actually his yelling and screaming that nearly had me check out…then he quit on his team…leading to the podcast being cut short because Steve did more talking than expected. It was a good podcast after the first few minutes though!
November 19th, 2025 at 5:29 pm
I’m on team Lee, though he shouldn’t have walked off. How the hell can Ira say the Bucs played a “good game.” The running game was terrific. The passing game was ok. We won the turnover battle 3-1. However, the defense and special teams were abhorrent and that’s why we got our collective as#es kicked!
November 19th, 2025 at 5:48 pm
ragingbpenixlover …You chose to bring political references to a Bucs blog..I commented on Licht being at fault on the pass rush ..At least look above your post its right there so you do not seem like total fool fixated on another man ..I come to JBF to get away from Politics not to read post from the Transylvania crowd.
November 19th, 2025 at 6:27 pm
Love the intensity but the meat/truth begins at the 13 minute mark. The bills are injured, same as us. Our defense, mostly at full strength, not even counting Reddick. Unless he comes back from injury with a fury that was a complete waste of a signing. We wasted another opportunity and played a very bad game. Thank you Ira for finally announcing Tykee is the main cog so far this season along with our best pass rusher and front seven player in Vita. Poor coaching, player development, and Licht has probably gotten a little too much credit with his drafts. He’s done a great job but no edge rush, ILB, interior D-Line, TE, is starting to rear its head even more.
November 19th, 2025 at 6:40 pm
As much praise as Jason gets for building the offense, he deserves as much criticism for the official disaster the front seven is currently. JTS, Devon White, Logan Hall, Yaya, Braswell. Kancey is a huge question mark till he can make it a whole season. I think Bowels is past his prime, but look at what he has/had to work with. Of course he has to concoct exotic blitzes to make up for a bunch of scrubs.
November 19th, 2025 at 6:55 pm
Explosive!
But Lee is correct, the performance by the defense and ST was inexcusable, and for Ira to say the Bucs played a good is just mind blowing. MIND BLOWING! Lee was a bit of a baby by storming off, but I understand his frustration.
Ira’s take / perspective is exactly why mediocrity is the standard in Tampa- the media lets everything slide. Everyone is content to just make the playoffs and get bounced in 1st round again. It’s pathetic.
And lol @ johnnythemoon. Triggered little snowflake just like his dear leader
November 19th, 2025 at 6:58 pm
@Ricardo – It’s fair to criticize Light for some bad edge rusher picks, it seems the one position he’s not good at evaluating. But he’s a great drafter overall.
Bowles OTOH has never developed a pass rusher anywhere he has been a coach. Ever. Not once.
Licht did go out and sign JPP, Suh, and Shaq. Obviously Reddick didn’t work out as well as those guys did, but how are pass rushers supposed to develop when they spend 40% of the game covering WRs down field?
And BTW Devin White was a critical piece to our SB win. We don’t make to the dance without him. His head just got too big and he stopped dedicating himself to football unfortunately.
November 19th, 2025 at 8:16 pm
Josh Allen is a superstar. That was my takeaway from the game.
November 19th, 2025 at 9:18 pm
For sure. JL is one of the best overall GMs in the league. But given his reluctance for free agent signings, I was going off of his defensive draft picks. Vita. That’s his best defensive draft pick IMO. Izian is looking good so far, maybe parish but it’s too soon to say for those guys. Winfield is hot and cold as late. Comparing his picks on both sides of the ball is night and day. And it really shows.
November 19th, 2025 at 9:27 pm
Lee needs to relax. The yelling gets old man —— especially to Ira wtf!
We are all fans…and have passion….but you and Ira are on the same team man – we all are!
November 19th, 2025 at 11:03 pm
If the coaching staff, ownership, and GM had as much passion as Lee does, maybe we’d be getting somewhere. Then they would find this situation untenable. You don’t see Eagles ownership and GM sitting on their laurels. They made moves to bolster their team, with little risk. They gave up 3rd round pick for Jaelen Phillips, if he leaves in free agency, they most likely get that 3rd round back. If he keeps playing the way he has, they probably keep him. We could’ve done same, if he plays good, sign him if possible and let Reddick walk. Great job Lee!!
November 20th, 2025 at 12:19 am
Lee is going to lose a lot of listeners if he doesn’t stop w the yelling. Passion is great – screaming into a mic on a podcast isn’t fun to listen to. It almost seems fake.
November 20th, 2025 at 11:25 am
Lee is so narrow minded when it comes to observing the game. Ira can write a good newspaper article, but he can’t talk about the fine details about a game to save his life. Losing battle listening to them argue. But I do agree with Ira in that the pass rushers they drafted and signed have largely been bad. Not even coaching could save them.
November 20th, 2025 at 2:01 pm
100 percent agree with Lee and do not fault him for walking off the way he did the bucs ran great against the worst run defense in the league big whoop everything else was really bad and once again Todd was out coached which is becoming a recurring theme. They had a whole off-season to fix the stagnate pass rush it might look worse than it did before, coverage busts are becoming the only consistent thing on this defense. I agree if you get beat by a great play so be it they are getting beat by medicore play that only look great because the defense is playing like no one knows what they are doing.
November 20th, 2025 at 2:08 pm
Lee being passionate about the truth as he sees it isn’t a problem and all of you who act as if you never lost it over something you care about get real. Dont change who you are lee it’s one of the reasons I keep listening to the podcasts along with ira and Steve.
November 20th, 2025 at 6:53 pm
Think this dude needs a vacation. I have an 8 year old that has better emotional regulation capability. Dude shouts down anyone that doesn’t agree with him, can’t handle a conversation if someone doesn’t agree with him, and resorts to name calling and saying Ira isn’t credible because he doesn’t agree with him. Get a grip on yourself man. Maybe get your ego in check. At the end of the day, none of your opinions on any of this matter. You might have a successful website, but you don’t influence anything about the team. So take a breath and give Ira an apology for a truly embarrassing and childish display of unprofessionalism.
November 20th, 2025 at 9:26 pm
I saw the number of comments before I clicked to listen to the show. Once I started reading the comments I was like “Good Lordy!” That Joe has had a few blow ups like that lately and seem to be the same thing every time. I get it on both sides, then I’ve got my side and everyone else has theirs. We all see problems that we can’t believe everyone doesn’t see the same way. After watching this team start the year the way they did and then absolutely crap the bed here has made us all mad! We know what this team can do and how they can perform but we get the turd version lately. I get the frustration…… but come on man! It’s too late now for the team to do anything different for the year unless they give the practice squad guys a chance to be DE’s, which I’m sure everyone would be for!! Grab a beer and give each other a hug because not nothing you want changed is going to happen
November 21st, 2025 at 6:58 pm
Lee…..I agree with you that the Bucs didn’t play a good game….but come on man don’t throw a hissy fit and leave the podcast, you’re better than that
November 22nd, 2025 at 12:30 pm
But he’s not better than that, Chris. Not yet. This is the 4th time Lee’s lost control on a recording and the 4th time he’ll apologize…rinse, repeat. Empty words. Actions speak truth and the unfortunate truth is this Joe is woefully immature and needs to dive deeper into himself than the Bucs do into their D-line practices to actually change.
