Haason Reddick Returns To Practice
November 26th, 2025He’s back! Sort of.
Reddick, 31, hasn’t played since the Detroit loss on Oct. 20. A bad ankle has been the major culprit. A sore knee also was in the mix.
Reddick practiced today for the first time since that Detroit game. Todd Bowles said today Reddick is feeling much better but his status for Sunday against the Cardinals is unclear.
Bucky Irving (shoulder/ankle), Ben Bredeson (hamstring), Jamel Dean (hip) and Baker Mayfield (shoulder) also are maybes for Sunday’s game. Benjamin Morrison (hamstring) is not expected to be ready.
Obviously, the quarterback situation is the major one, and Joe would pick Bredeson as a No. 2.

So?
November 26th, 2025 at 1:02 pm
Say what you will, he’s better than Nelson
November 26th, 2025 at 1:02 pm
Hey, where are all the “Anthony Nelson should be starting” takes at that were all over this board a month ago?
Even if some posters here don’t care Yaya Diaby is thrilled Reddick is coming back to play on the opposite side. A pass rush will return this week even if Reddick doesn’t record a lot of stats. After the last 3 games anything is better than nothing.
November 26th, 2025 at 1:04 pm
How many injuries has Morrison had this year? This has got to be his third one, no? 2nd hamstring?
November 26th, 2025 at 1:06 pm
Yawn… hope he’s not bored.
November 26th, 2025 at 1:06 pm
It’s way too early to say this in certainty but Morrison seems like he’s made of glass.
November 26th, 2025 at 1:07 pm
Dont care at this point///Just waiting for the results or Bowlszone Coaching. Give it til after Christmas.
November 26th, 2025 at 1:07 pm
Morrison is a bust. Bowles just wanted his friends son to get drafted.
The same coach brought in Shilo Sanders for an NFL tryout.
Licht listens to Bowles suggestions on defense.
The results are in and they are below standard at best.
We could have LT in his prime and Bowles would drop him in coverage against Jerry Rice.
November 26th, 2025 at 1:08 pm
Those direct deposits keep on dropping in his bank account…
November 26th, 2025 at 1:14 pm
I vote for putting Haason Reddick at Middle Linebacker, with LVD on 1 side of him and SVD on the other. Use 4 DLine beasts in front of them and let them do nothing but rush the passer & stop the run.
Hopefully Irving, Dean & Bredeson make it back too. Baker will insist on playing if he can even stand up, but I hope that our coaches sit him for at least this game. RUN RUN RUN the friggin ball, and let Teddy sprinkle in a short pass or 2. Maybe even 3.
November 26th, 2025 at 1:16 pm
We can say what we want but the D was better when Reddick was out there
November 26th, 2025 at 1:16 pm
No Reddick last 3 games = 2 sacks. No way he was hurting us
November 26th, 2025 at 1:19 pm
Lol @ oneandthree. “Licht listens to Bowles suggestions on defense”.. yep and he also listens to them for the offense as well. Good try, trying to exclude Jason Licht from this teams failures. Anyhow, yes all the “Anthony nelson is better” blah blah blah has been real quiet lately.
It is the same “Sirvocea is better than KJ Britt”, and we need to trade dean and start Morrison. Blah Blah Blah. Fans don’t know a thing. They just jump to whoever the backup is, and when the backup sucks, and shows why he is a backup in the first place, then the fans go screaming fire the coach. I got one for you guys, how many of you guys here knew Tykee Smith would’ve been one of the best safeties is the league this year??? That’s right, non of you Couch GMS
November 26th, 2025 at 1:19 pm
Well I agree with some of what you said. However, Baker I would sit him and let him recover. I would rather see him sit one game rather than aggravating the shoulder and the injury lingers. You can say what you want about Reddick, but check the stats. He doesn’t have that many sacks, but the pass rush was way ,way more effective with him playing than when out. I think teams are having to account for him when playing, freeing up others to make plays.
November 26th, 2025 at 1:19 pm
Coverage seemed way better when Reddick was lining up
November 26th, 2025 at 1:20 pm
Big woopie!!!
Reddick is so lackluster he makes me miss JTS.
LOL!!!
November 26th, 2025 at 1:28 pm
He’s not better than Nelson when Nellie is on the field and he isn’t He’s sitting down because at 50% or whatever, he’s not better than Nellie at whatever percent he’s at. And Reddick’s injuries seem a bit dubious. Coach’s evaluation is that he’s feeling better, so I guess when he feels up to it, he’ll be back. Remember his most recent season with the Jets? No production, but lots of excuses. He’s in a contract year, and if he were out there, people could see how much he’s lost over the past couple years.
November 26th, 2025 at 1:29 pm
we need him to produce…point..blank..period!!!
GO BUCS!!!!

Trust me, Bud Licht is a HUGE part of the problem.
Both Licht and BA benefitted greatly from the one great decision Licht has made in Tampa. Bringing in TB12 to right the ship.
I like Baker and think he is a tough and determined athlete. But he will never overcome his inability to win in the clutch. Plus, the defense will never be good enough under Bowles to even get him over the top.
The call is coming from inside the house……
November 26th, 2025 at 1:51 pm
Clueless Todd can’t wait to drop him in coverage…cause that confuses the defense! Duh-yup!
November 26th, 2025 at 1:54 pm
Light doesn’t like dean because of injury but he drafted Morrison ?
Bucky and bredeson back will have offense rolling again.
Move Tykee to nickel. And bring Desmond Watson.
Hall. Vea. Watson.
Yaya. Watts. Dennis. David.
Has braswell played this year ?
November 26th, 2025 at 1:58 pm
OneAndThree Says
“Morrison is a bust.”
Wow. You give up too easily.
With you running things, Ronde Barber would have been a bust after year 1. Or 2. Or 3.
Development takes time. Morrison could end up being a HoFer. You don’t know.
November 26th, 2025 at 2:01 pm
Fire Todd
November 26th, 2025 at 2:02 pm
Football 1 Says:
“Baker I would sit him and let him recover.”
I agree. But…Teddy. 🙁
I wish we had a Blaine Gabbert type of backup. At least we could win easy games with him under center.
Teddy is actually more boring than…Bowles.
November 26th, 2025 at 2:03 pm
Some could argue that Benji has never been ready for the NFL. Couldn’t stay healthy/available in college either.
Reddick has 2 sacks in the last two seasons combined. Might be time for that forward thinking Jason Licht to extend him early. He’ll get more interest than Reggie White did in free agency otherwise.
A healthy, right-minded Bucky would be critical. The offense hasn’t been close to the same without him.
November 26th, 2025 at 2:03 pm
One and Three, Licht is a major part of the problem and needs Bakto go. Not sure where you are coming from when you say Baker can’t win in the clutch, The Bucs won 6 games primarily due to Baker’s clutch performances. Four of those wins came without his starting wide receivers, RB and offensive line. Not to much clutch there, huh. The current losing streak lies at the feet of Bowels and his putrid defense.
November 26th, 2025 at 2:05 pm
Ha, Chillin on a $14M vacation . Thanks Jason. lol….
November 26th, 2025 at 2:06 pm
I misspoke about Reddick’s sack total. He has 2.5 in the last two seasons. He’ll probably get Myles Garrett/Max Crosby like money in free agency next season.
November 26th, 2025 at 2:08 pm
OneAndThree Says:
“Licht is a HUGE part of the problem.”
That is a crock.
Here’s what so many of you refuse to see. When you get a franchise QB, you build the offense around him so he can succeed. It took Licht 3.5 years to build a quality offense. It had to come before Defense.
This year is the first year the defense has truly been addressed. Even though the first pick went to Offense (WR) for very good reason.
You cannot blame Licht for injuries.
Reddick is on a 1 year deal because Jason Licht knew he wouldn’t be great…he just needed a player to buy time until next draft. And really, Reddick could have exploded…it was a small gamble, but Reddick hasn’t been great.
At least we are not going to have cap issues with him.
Jason Licht got us one superbowl…he’ll get us to another.
Bowles may or may not be here for it.
November 26th, 2025 at 2:09 pm
And don’t say Licht could have traded for a good pass rusher…you don’t know whether he made attempts. Perhaps the price for a good one was too high.
November 26th, 2025 at 2:11 pm
buc4evr Says
“Ha, Chillin on a $14M vacation . Thanks Jason.”
And no more than that…we’d have over paid with Dominick, Allen or McKay. Be thankful. Everyone wanted Reddick at the time.
November 26th, 2025 at 2:14 pm
Garrett is unreal and would have been worth 2 #1s but in Bowles Defense who the heck knows ,,, he has Schwartz who loves to pressure and hit (punish) the QB,,, we don’t have that coaching mentality
November 26th, 2025 at 2:17 pm
We got a sack giving them 3rd and 18 and they converted on a 20 yard play. Useless.
November 26th, 2025 at 2:23 pm
Oh Buckaroo Bonzee…you’re struggling yet again.
Reddick for $14 million is not chump change. And how do you know there was a big market for him? Gnomes.net spill that secret? When he basically no showed for the Jets last year…it was buyer beware.
Thankfully you guaranteed the Bucs will finish on a 6 game win streak. Maybe fantasy fiction isn’t so bad after all?
November 26th, 2025 at 2:34 pm
Buccaneer Bonzai what? Lol. Jason Licht has been trying to build this Defense for 10 years!! 10 years. This guy has not drafted a hood pass rusher at all in all 10 years he has been GM. The best bucs defense wasnt during tom brady era, the best bucs defense actually was 2023 when they allowed 19.1ppg. But people still complained because the pass defense was bad, hell I would love to have 19.1ppg allowed right now, we would be 11-0. Its simple the bucs need to go back to that bend but dont break defense they played in 2023. Teams would drive down the field, convert :rd downs and only settle for FGs.
We have played more man to man than ever before this year, and its no coincidence that we have given up more explosive plays than we have in the last 7 years.
November 26th, 2025 at 2:51 pm
Who is this again?
November 26th, 2025 at 2:57 pm
If Reddick is back, he can’t make the defense any worse than it has been the last 3 games. Morrison might have a chance to be a player, but three hamstring injuries (1 in preseason and two now in season) is not encouraging.
November 26th, 2025 at 3:01 pm
And?
November 26th, 2025 at 3:05 pm
Brady won us a Super bowl not Jason Licht. LOL
Anyone thinking JL is responsible for that SB is probably a casual fan or high on glue.
SF said no thank you to Brady. We won the Brady sweepstakes. BRADY brought in AB. Gronk and LF…and others.
Licht is a career losing coach. Check the record. He’s gotta go.
November 26th, 2025 at 3:18 pm
Licht can’t build a defense. I don’t even want to list all his failures. He relies too much on draft picks that are from small program schools that no one else would draft as high as he does. He won’t ever get a veteran premier pass rusher. Instead we get an endless supply of hype after every draft. The window is closing ….
November 26th, 2025 at 3:28 pm
reddick hasnt panned out but there is still time. i certainly hoped for more out of him based on his past sack production.
November 26th, 2025 at 3:40 pm
@Trey
I was iffy on them taking him from the beginning. He was already dealing with injuries coming out & it’s like why would you wanna keep putting up with the same thing over & over again. You’d think they would’ve learn from Dean & Carlton.
November 26th, 2025 at 3:43 pm
@LigjtnkngVinny1
That’s why I say I don’t know if it’ll matter who they put on that D until they get out of that stupid scheme. Until they do that I doubt much is really gonna change.
November 26th, 2025 at 3:44 pm
Who cares?
November 26th, 2025 at 3:53 pm
Imagine if the Bucs had signed Jim Schwartz as Defensive Coordinator before 2023 season instead of the Browns…
November 26th, 2025 at 4:00 pm
Bonzai … ‘Reddick is on a 1 year deal because Jason Licht knew he wouldn’t be great…he just needed a player to buy time until next draft.’
So he can draft anotehr Chris Braswell?
November 26th, 2025 at 4:14 pm
Bowles will not relinquish his role as DC so basically until he’s gone we are screwed.
November 26th, 2025 at 4:25 pm
Eventually the Glazers will get tired of Todd and his insane excuses. The question is, will they finally get tired of Licht?
November 26th, 2025 at 4:34 pm
Has Braswell even been mentioned this year during a game?
Braswell < JTS.
Yeah Licht, we are really dazzled this year with Braswell. Let's make sure we keep him until rookie contract is up. Maybe extend him then so we can see even more impressed.
For a GM that loves to hoard draft picks, he sure seems to give a sh!t about roster spots. Too many nobodies on it. Sigh…
November 26th, 2025 at 4:35 pm
Buc4evr – I feel like Licht is here to stay. He’s been up and down and definitely gets way too much credit but he could be much worse.
November 26th, 2025 at 4:36 pm
This site will cease to exist in 2028 after the Bucs lease at RJS is up and the team moves to San Antonio.
Thank God. Joe can go back to grifting welfare and being an S.O.
November 26th, 2025 at 4:39 pm
Whoever said Hassan Reddick is better than Anthony Nelson. This is a league of what have you done for me lately. If you go just by the numbers Nelson tops Reddick especially in the sack area. It’s not even close.
