Vinovich and his posse are even in penalties between the home and visiting teams in 2025. Home teams win 54 percent of the time in the games Vinovich and his outfit work this year.
Injuries:
(The NFL does not include players on injury reports who are not on a team’s active 53-man roster. Players on injured reserve or the practice squad are not on a team’s active 53-man roster.)
Outlook: So once again, the Bucs have painted themselves in a corner. The Bucs pretty much need to win five of their next six to wrap up the sorry NFC South. When your defense bends over and takes it up the exhaust pipe the past three weeks, that will do it. Good thing the Bucs have a defensive head coach. Could be bad otherwise. The Bucs are getting healthy. Bucky Irving will be back at running back. Ben Bredeson will be back at left guard. And maybe Chris Godwin will get more snaps. The Bucky news is good because Joe believes the Bucs’ defense has deteriorated so badly, the Bucs will need to ground-and-pound to keep the ball out of Arizona’s hands. So in Joe’s mind, if the Bucs can establish a strong run game, they ought to win. Besides, Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield is banged up. He should start today. But we know how Mayfield is when he plays hurt: He’s a shell of himself. So you wouldn’t think the Bucs will lean on Mayfield to win the game for them. If the Bucs do throw and Mayfield is up to it, TruMedia, by way of Mina Kimes of ESPN, noted that Arizona is one of the worst teams in the league defending screens. Bucs offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard loves screens. But to Joe, the key is the run game. The Cardinals are a sad sack team with a ton of injuries. They’ve lost eight of their past nine games. They don’t defend the run well. If the Bucs can’t beat this team, there are some very real problems at One Buc Palace.

The Bucs are getting points?
I wish I wasn’t out of town, because if this is right, I want to bet bigly.

The Bucs pretty much need to win out to wrap up the division? Is this fan fiction?
If the Bucs go 3-3 the next three games and the wins are Saints, Panthers and Panthers we win the division.
I have no problem with anyone saying this team has played and coached like garbage the last few weeks, but we don’t need to start making things up.
