Bucs Holding Half-Game Lead In NFC South
November 16th, 2025Losing three out of four games has a way of hurting your postseason chances. The Bucs are feeling that burn right now.
After losing a shootout to the Bills today, the Bucs fell to 6-5 while division-rival Carolina upped its record to 6-5 with a 30-27 win in Atlanta.
The Falcons fell to 3-7 and are probably beginning a head coaching search. Defense-first Raheem Morris watched Bryce Young complete 31 passes for 448 yards and 3 touchdowns en route. Bryce Young!
The Bucs next will face a sizzling 8-2 Los Angeles Rams team on Sunday Night Football — in L.A. Carolina players will be watching as they enjoy their bye week.
Hopefully not, but the Bucs and Carolina may very well be tied at 6-5 as Bucs fans sit down for Thanksgiving dinner.

November 16th, 2025 at 6:21 pm
We are actually 6-4
6-5 comes next week
November 16th, 2025 at 6:31 pm
Rams will destroy, DESTROY the Bucs….if you aren’t sure go watch them beat up on a very good Seahawks team.
November 16th, 2025 at 6:38 pm
Todd Bowles contract was extended this year, that guarantees more years of mediocrity here in Tampa. Bowles is average and will never lead this franchise to a championship.
November 16th, 2025 at 6:41 pm
Bucs have regressed to half game lead and are in their annual tailspin under the worst current coach in the NFL is a more honest assessment
November 16th, 2025 at 6:41 pm
But…but the Bucs were pissed off all week! Todd personally reamed out his defense!
…and the defense came out flat as lifeless as always. It’ll be same thing next week. Zero pride, zero fight. Collecting paychecks.
November 16th, 2025 at 6:42 pm
LOL @ 6-5! Yea, it’s coming.
November 16th, 2025 at 6:43 pm
It’s getting easier and easier to game plan against the Bucs
Slow torture…
November 16th, 2025 at 6:43 pm
Bowles will never finish a regular season better than 1 or 2 games above .500. Thats his peak.
Meanwhile, the coach that told the Bucs where to shove it last year and went to Jacksonville, is a contender for NFL coach of the year.
November 16th, 2025 at 6:44 pm
While the Rams are slapping 55 points on us next week, I hope Licht & the Glazers are sizing up Sean McVay’s offensive staff and his coaching tree. I’ve seen enough.
November 16th, 2025 at 6:44 pm
6-5 definitely coming. Probably lose by 20 next week. Bowles is a joke as HC/DC.
November 16th, 2025 at 6:46 pm
I am so glad I didn’t watch the game today, either my blood pressure would have gone through the roof or worse I would have launched a chair at my almost new smart TV.
Enough said.
November 16th, 2025 at 6:50 pm
I’m so glad the Glazers let David go for Todd. At least it’s not the same season scenario over and over and over again.
November 16th, 2025 at 6:52 pm
Holding is not what it will be after next week. Bowles defense will never hold on to anything for this team.
As soon as we miss the playoffs or 1 and done he has to go.
November 16th, 2025 at 6:56 pm
Personally, if you”re ditching Bowles after this season? Get a head coach not a coordinator, Dave Canallis and Liam Cohen. And the lions old coordinator not withstanding.
.it seems like VERY FEW COORDINATORS are working out lately. Also you’d either better get a D.C that puts a foot up everybody’s arse when they screw up, also our CONSERVATIVE TOO OVERLY CAUTIOUS GM better stop trying to draft every damn boyscout in college and get some REAL PLAYERS!!!!!
November 16th, 2025 at 6:56 pm
Todd Bowles is the lowest paid NFL coach in the league, perhaps that why he still has his job.
November 16th, 2025 at 7:01 pm
WHO IS THE IDIOT THST GAVE BOWLES A EXTENDED CONTRACT . HE HAS DONE NOTHING AFTER BRADY BUT ONE AND DONE ! Same old crap all year ! Was to day a defence genius ?
November 16th, 2025 at 7:03 pm
Give me a break Joe.
There is ZERO CHANCE this team beats LA.
6-5 guaranteed now. Today was our only shot at avoiding that.
First 6 games: 5-1
Next 5 games: 1-4
A truly incredible feat of ignorance and ineptitude.
November 16th, 2025 at 7:04 pm
He’ll probably be around as long as possible as long as it’s the cheapest option because they can’t spend anymore $$$$ than they need to. Until they’re willing to go out & spend (actually spend) then nothing is probably gonna change. Just seems like they’re just satisfied with being mediocre or just a playoff contender & not a Super Bowl contender.
November 16th, 2025 at 7:04 pm
It wouldn’t surprise me if Carolina wins one against them.
November 16th, 2025 at 7:08 pm
And just like that, they are fighting for their division. Good teams improve as the season goes on. Not the Bucs under Todd B.
Who would have thought Dave Canales and the Panthers would only be a half game back at this point in the season? I surly didn’t!
November 16th, 2025 at 7:13 pm
JASON LIGHT BLEW IT BY NOT MAKING COEN HEAD COACH !! WE ARE STUCK WITH THIS CRAPPY COACH . I WOULD NOT WASTE MY MONEY GOING TO SEE THE BUCS WITH THIS COACH ! HE NEVER GETS ANY BETTER ! TUCKER KILLED IT TODAY .WHAT A WASTE ON DEFENCE AND SPECIAL TEAMS ! BBOWLES NEVER THREW A CHALLENGE FLAG ON THAT FIRST DOWN. ! HE NEVER TOLD THE SPECIAL TEAMS COACH TO KICK IT INTO THE END ZONE TO STOPE THOSE BIG RUN BACKS . GIZZ NEVER WENT DERP DOWN FIELD . DEFENCE AND SPECIAL TEAMS LOSTVTHIS GAME ( BOWLES SPECIALLY RIGHT ) .YOUR OUT OF HERE !”
November 16th, 2025 at 7:21 pm
Panthers win the south bucs miss playoffs. Both Canales and Coen have better records than the Bucs.
November 16th, 2025 at 7:23 pm
“The Bucs next will face a sizzling 8-2 Los Angeles Rams team on Sunday Night Football — in L.A. Carolina players will be watching as they enjoy their bye week.”
Joe- The Panthers play next week against the 49ers on MNF.
At least both teams have challenging games…
November 16th, 2025 at 7:23 pm
It wouldn’t surprise me to see the Panthers to beat them twice. The Falcons to beat them also.
November 16th, 2025 at 7:26 pm
Maybe bring back Jon Gruden, he’s chomping at the bit to coach again. I’m certain he will work for cheap just for the opportunity.
November 16th, 2025 at 7:29 pm
Every season, the Bucs have this mid seadon swoon. The Glazers demand progress, yet Todd Bowles continues to put togerher these mid season losing streaks. First, Bowles’D is awful and predictable. I thought the Bucs could still win the division but if Bryce Young can put up 450 yards on a Rah team, he can do it to Bowles as well because Bowles is too arrogant and stubborn to make changes. A change is what the Bucs need. Fire Bowles after tge season is over. We know the Glazers will not fire him midseason.
November 16th, 2025 at 7:31 pm
Ahab, the NFL has passed Gruden by. However, we do need to get rid of Toad Bowels. It is more than time. The ineptitude is ridiculous. Our defense doesn’t get better year in and year out. But, “we gotta coach em up better and they gotta play better.” Cigar Store Indian.
November 16th, 2025 at 7:40 pm
Panthers are not on a bye week next week. They play the 49ers on Monday night football.
November 16th, 2025 at 7:42 pm
Does anybody here ever think that the Bucs sometimes lose because the other team is actually a better team? I think most people rate the Bills as better than the Bucs.
November 16th, 2025 at 7:48 pm
Haha Bowles.
Absolutely infuriating. This season is inevitably gonna end how I thought. The Bucs bowing out early cause of our HC and his brilliant D/scared to lose play calling philosophy. Here we thought he turned a corner.
Grizzard. Man, come on. Took you a botched 1st and goal from the 5 to pull out the outside runs or read option with Baker. Can’t convert 2 yards to save your life. No play action ! Coaching malpractice all around, every unit.
November 16th, 2025 at 7:49 pm
We have now verified what Todd Bowles is and will always be.
A .500 coach as the Buc HC and a sub .500 HC including the Jets years.
He’s 1-6 after the bye as a HC. That alone should be a red flag for any team thinking of hiring him as HC.
No one was clamoring for him to be a HC. Not even the Glazers.
He was forced upon us by BA in an attempt to paper over the fraud that is Bowles.
Then JL and the Glazer boys doubled down and extended him.
The blame goes all the way to the top. 2028 is a long time to wait.
November 16th, 2025 at 7:49 pm
Panthers play the 49ers and Rams and than a Bye week…Too much drinking post game ..lol
November 16th, 2025 at 7:50 pm
Panthers and jags have 3rd place schedules. Competition matters. No surprise Broncos, Colts, and Pats all leading division, all benefitting on 3rd place schedules. 6-5 is about what we expected ( assuming a loss next week) . 6 games left 4 and 2 is reasonable, 5 and 1 would be great.
November 16th, 2025 at 7:50 pm
Panthers will probably win the division. And Mobucs no we didnt lose to a better team we would have lost to most teams today, with that defense they a hich school team would probably beat the bucs. Our HC is a scam
November 16th, 2025 at 7:52 pm
You all realize we are in first place in the NFC South?
And that we are four time defending NFC Champions?
And no other team can can claim that, and our 4 year record is best in the NFC South?
I get being upset about about our lack of a pass rush.
But going in to Buffalo, and beating the Bills at home?
Flying across country, and playing the Rams at home?
You really expected to beat two of the leagues very best at home?
With all of our injuries?
Some of you are just really stupid.
We raise hell, and DEMAND Licht get off his a** and get us some pass rushers
But you don’t fire the Coach with the best record in the NFL for the last 4 years- because we lost to one of the best teams in the league. Especially on the road.
And when we are in first place in our division
Not unless you are a slobbering simpleton.
It won’t matter. After losing next week, we will have a cakewalk schedule.
We are undefeated in our division.
Well will the NFL South again.
But we won’t win the NFC, or a Super Bowl,
Until Licht/Bowles dump the useless dead wood like Logan hall and Chris Braswell.
And Get some da*n pass rushers!
November 16th, 2025 at 7:54 pm
Damn it
* 4 time NFC South champions
* best record in the NFC for the last 4 years
November 16th, 2025 at 7:59 pm
Joe calling us 6-5 already tells me he is part of the WWF I mean NFL league. NFL is rigged lmao. How many holding calls did you see on our D line today? Go Bucs!
November 16th, 2025 at 8:02 pm
Ira Kaufman just wants to remind everyone that at no time did he ever want Todd Bowles to get a contract extension.
Nope. Never happened. Wasn’t him.
November 16th, 2025 at 8:02 pm
Bowles still play the conservative type ball he’s always accustomed to. Look at the teams who are competitive. They have young coaches but they play aggressive, take chances, can manage the clock, n don’t hold on to high draft players n mediocre coaches who don’t contribute i.e., JTS, Chris Braswell, Logan Hall, Kyle Trask, n Special Teams coach.😬 Our ST has been embarrassing n awful over the past two years n today was reasons for the ST coach to be fired immediately. Bears, Seahawks, Patriots, Jaguars, heck, even Panthers coach are all making a statement with the hand they’re dealt. Our OC is a bad play caller. Bowles is over his head.
November 16th, 2025 at 8:15 pm
Capt Tim, are you satisfied with mediocrity? I understand we have won the NFC south, an incredibly week division for a few years in a row. Is that the purpose of a franchise? To me it’s winning a super bowl. If your good with mediocrity then good for you, not me. It doesn’t appear Todd Bowles has the wherewithal to take his team to championship level.
November 16th, 2025 at 8:48 pm
It sure seems to me that a Todd Bowles led Bucs team will never achieve total success. Winning an incredibly weak division several times gets the Bucs in the playoffs. Getting your ass kicked in the playoffs is not what I would think is the ultimate goal. Bowles Bucs are competitive, not really playoff or Super Bowl worthy.
November 16th, 2025 at 8:55 pm
Panthers bye is week 14
November 16th, 2025 at 8:59 pm
Bowles is supposed to be a defensive mastermind, does anyone see this mastermind achieving success?
November 16th, 2025 at 9:01 pm
Bucs will have to sweep the Panthers to clinch division and that is if the Bucs are not upset by the ATL, Fins, Saints or Cards and we know Bowles is what he is, a conservative, mediocre coach who can win 10 but never dominate a division due to his conservative nature and stubborness.
November 16th, 2025 at 9:08 pm
Panthers will lose to the 49ers and Rams to drop back under 0.500 but then they get a bye and will be healed up for the stretch run. Bowles should be told that he will be fired if he loses the division to the Panthers, maybe that will motivate him to make adjustments and fire the special teams coach. He acts complacent because the Glazers extended his contract. He needs to have consequences for his failures.
November 16th, 2025 at 9:10 pm
Pass rushers? Have you not received the memo the bucs don’t believe in that pass rushing nonsense how are the dline going to finish their roshambo games with oposing oline if they worry about rushing the QB.
November 16th, 2025 at 10:25 pm
Bucs have zero chance of winning next Sunday versus the Rams, it is a night game as well, it will be a big ugly blowout. The kind of blowout in which we lose by many points and end up with half the players on life support afterward. It will be a mash unit. So this is my prediction, I hope to be wrong. 6-5 incoming. I have zero confidence in Todd Bowles in case there is a poll and I miss it.
November 16th, 2025 at 10:40 pm
Panthers remaining schedule is much tougher than ours. I’m assuming we’ll split with them (divisional games, especially twice in three weeks–I’d be surprised if either team swept). Besides playing each other twice, and each of us playing the Saints once, they’ve still got the 49ers, Rams, and Seahawks to deal with, whereas we have Rams, Cardinals, Falcons, and Dolphins. Panthers are an improving team, but they aren’t that good. We’re a good team and getting healthier. With the remaining schedule, I’m not worried about the NFC South. Whether we can do anything in the post season will depend on whether both sides of the ball can put together a good game in the same game (and that special teams can get it together). Go Bucs!
