BSPN: Big Production Day For Bucky Irving

November 30th, 2025

Big day on the way?

Joe knew Bucs running back Bucky Irving would return today. Then we learned more yesterday.

Bucky will be on a pitch count, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reported. His Bucs source told him the team believes it needs a win badly and if Bucky is hot, the Bucs plan to feed him.

This goes against repeated statements by Bucs offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard, saying you cannot expect a player to take a full workload in his first game back after missing several.

Well, a guy who never met a number he didn’t like, Seth Walder of BSPN, claims Bucky will have a monster day today. Walder thinks the Cardinals’ run defense is softer than wet Charmin.

Bold prediction: Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving will return with a bang, recording 100 or more rushing yards. Tampa Bay runs inside zone 30% of the time, fourth most, while the Cardinals have struggled against inside zone runs, allowing 5.0 yards per carry on those plays.

Yes, after reading this intel, Joe went ahead and dropped some cash on Sean Tucker and Bucky’s rushing props.

Joe believes this just makes sense. With Baker Mayfield playing hurt, it would be smart to play ground-and-pound. Besides, when Mayfield has played hurt, he’s been a shell of himself.

So best way to help Mayfield get through a game when he’s less than 100 percent is to just have him hand the ball to Bucky or Tucker.

Turn this game into the “Buck and Tuck Show.”

    That would be several.

    Several is 3

    Thank you CleanHouse. Exactly.

  5. Joe Says:

    Several is 3

Not in Joe’s vocabulary. “Several” is an inexact number more than two.

  6. Jmarkbuc Says:

Sorry, but if you miss nearly half the games in a season.. it’s more than several.

Either way, would like to see plenty of Tucker, along with White catching some passes to draw attention from Egbuka.

Our HC and OC are lacking, so I won’t hold my breath.

we’ve had “several” losses of late…

and “few” made a buc’s fan feel good on victory monday…

  12. Kenton Smith Says:

“How many beers have you had to drink tonight, sir?” “A few”. “Sir, your eyes are very red. Are you sure you’ve only had a few?” “Oh, it’s possible I’ve had several. But no more than that officer. But I can’t find my way home. Could you help me find my way home?” There’s a fine line between a few and several. But there is a line.

Maybe this is why the Bucs are losing. This is a football discussion channel, and we are discussing the definition of the word several.

  15. Hail2dabucs Says:

    1 is one
    2 is a couple
    3 is a few
What bucky missed is a CHIT TON !

  16. GP Says:

If everybody did things the right way (my way), everything would work so much smoother.
It would also be quite boring.

  17. Jeff Says:

Keep him on your bench, folks. He’s injury prone and will break down quickly.

  18. JimBobBuc Says:

I hope Bucky is really on a snap count. Grizz should spread out his snaps over all 4 quarters, but more in the first half. Buck and Tuck !!!
