Blowout Of The Week
November 25th, 2025
A data scientist who works for a failed sportsbook has data showing the Bucs were involved in the Blowout of the Week.
Joe is old enough to remember NFL Films had a 30-minute syndicated show each week called “Game of the Week,” and it was broken down to minute detail — all with the cool NFL Films music. Sometimes, this show was better than watching a live game.
Well, Hoppen has documentation that the Bucs-Rams game was the “Blowout of the Week.” Too bad NFL Films doesn’t turn this into a weekly 30-minute show.
Why does Joe call the Bucs’ heinous loss in Tinseltown the “Blowout of the Week?”
Well, Hoppen documented each team’s successful plays. The difference in successful plays between the winning and losing teams determines how close the game was. No game this past weekend had a larger differential than the Bucs’.
For those unaware, a successful play is when an offense gains at least 40 percent of the yards needed to convert on first downs, 60 percent on second downs or 100 percent on third- or fourth-downs.
There was a 20 percent difference between the number of Rams’ successful plays and the Bucs’ successful plays.
Yeah, Joe knows a big reason was Baker Mayfield only played the first half due to injury and Teddy Bridgewater looked like you’d think a high school coach would look like if he tried to walk into a live NFL game and line up behind center.

The Glazers should “BLOWOUT” Jason Licht and Todd Bowles for the disaster the Bucs are in right now.
They both knew they needed help badly and they did NOTHING to address them in Free Agency or trades.
November 25th, 2025 at 9:05 am
Its the same o same under Bowles so I don’t expect a super bowl run. Other teams would kill to have our WR and front line but no we are a talented team with a no clue coaching staff.
November 25th, 2025 at 9:10 am
I don’t need a data scientist to tell me this. I have eyes.

Todd Bowles’ coaching resembles a diaper blow out.
November 25th, 2025 at 9:18 am
Disgusting when everyone in the country and overseas watching sees a team trying NOT to score on purpose. On top of that the home team still is forced to score a field goal because the visitors can’t stop them. Only thing the Rams could have done was order the kicker to miss.
Bowles needs to be fired. Other teams handing them the division title has to stop. It’s embarrassing.

“They both knew they needed help badly and they did NOTHING to address them in Free Agency or trades.”
I’d like to know who drove that stupid decision.
Was it Licht?
Or was it Bowles – ie Licht asks Bowles if he needs help, and Bowles – being Bowles – is stupidly loyal to his guys and says “nah, I’m good”.

Bowles is the problem. Has been for years. He’s been handed flowers for mediocrity. I’ve never once have heard Bowles take the blame for a single loss. There is zero player development. 3 years, 3 different OCs. OCs still produce.
Bowles HC/DC his scheme, his play calling, his development. Wild weird ass blitz packages that hardly work is the identity. The guy is in over his head.

There is not even a handful of defenders on this Tampa team that could start for the Rams or the Lions. Some however are being paid like perennial All Pro’s. Have said it for years that it is time to get serious about the obvious lack of talent on this team. For these reasons, I was vocal about Bucs drafting Nick Emammwori in this years draft. Emmanwori is a hybrid safety ILB with 4.38 40 speed at the combine. Another defender Bucs ignored was Carson Schwesinger ILB who might be the front runner for DROY. Have said many times that EE is a nice player but it has been obvious that Tampa needs DEFENSE. In addition to new bodies, it is now obvious that nice guy Todd Bowles is not the defensive guru that is alleged.

Our backup guards can’t hold their blocks, and they can’t move people out of the way for running plays, aside from that, it’s all great
November 25th, 2025 at 9:34 am
There are better LB in this years draft than last years draft. If your job is to draft, you already knew this last year and adjusted your picks accordingly.
BPA. All teams live by it for the most part. We took the BPA.
Stop whining
November 25th, 2025 at 9:35 am
Why does this team play sooo bad? It’s collective for sure. Fire Bowles!
November 25th, 2025 at 9:38 am
Luckily my IQ is above 60 and I already knew that the Bucs were the worst blowout loss of the week.
Just gotta get better……….

JOE – any word on Hassan Reddick????

Bowles is the cheapest NFL head coach, he makes the least of all 32 head coaches in the league. Now there are reasons for this. It has to do with Bowles himself and it has to do with the Glazer family. How important are the Buccaneers to the Glazers? How willing are they to open the Glazer money vault for the Buccaneers to get better? Year after year the Glazers have settled for mediocrity–you have to ask why. Do the Glazers have an endgame that involves just maintaining wealth–I would say yes to that. It is clear Glazers are not driven to become winners. It seems the Glazers are comfortable with mediocrity. Todd Bowles is a quiet careful man but do not be fooled. Bowles is just as ego driven as Sean McVay or any head coach in the league. He was willing to tank the Bucs offense in Buffalo a week ago. Anyway it is all very unfortunate that this great franchise is saddled with this coach that is in charge of the defense that collapsed every game for the last 3 games in a row and throughout this season and every season. It starts with the coach, nothing changes unless something changes.

Sounds like Bucky and Reddick got in a brawl and both LOST!!! It’s like they don’t exist, something fishy is up at One Buc Place!!! Go Bucs
November 25th, 2025 at 10:01 am
I’m starting to think Bowles is putting money on the opponents to win and cover.
Probably telling his friends and family to bet against the Bucs big.
But I’m sure they don’t need his advice as their eyes and brain are working.
Fire Bowles now!!!
November 25th, 2025 at 10:01 am
We go through this every year. No time for panic. Todd said last week they are close to clicking in all three phases.
November 25th, 2025 at 10:13 am
Really a data scientists told us what we already knew was going to happen? Sign that guy to the roster, he is a g@@4mn genius!
November 25th, 2025 at 10:32 am
Look, you can compare the angle of the dangle to the mass of the azz all day long and all you’ll get is a headache. The average Joe could just kinda crack open a beer and look at the box score and see that the BUCS got skunked. No Cray supercomputers needed at all.

OBV
November 25th, 2025 at 10:39 am
At least the Panthers lost. Maybe we can beat Arizona if Baker plays. Teddy Bilgewater? I doubt it. Maybe we can resign Josh McClown out of retirement?
November 25th, 2025 at 11:04 am
I think the biggest reason they didn’t do any mid-season trades is because they already know we’re not a super bowl team. As for next year, the last of our 37 million of Brady money is off the books and they can probably sign a couple of really good free agents
November 25th, 2025 at 11:04 am
If Teddy 🧸 takes the field this Sunday, then they will DEFINITELY lose this Sunday…..that has to be the worst Backup QB I’ve ever seen take the field……infact, the close up shots of Teddy smiling in the huddle just sickened me even more….
…..Teddy ain’t here to win, but here to “collect the check” ……and the way he played last Sunday clearly showed it. It’s too late now to sign a QB and learn the offense in less than a week.
Sign anyone else QB off of someone’s practice squad besides a washed up QB that Teddy 🧸 is!

We have a sad collection of coaches and players. Bottom of the barrel for sure.
November 25th, 2025 at 11:33 am
That’s a depressing graph 😢 from Data Scientist ESPN Bet. Ya, it is what it is, not to include reasons why. Bare facts only.
It is feeling like many sport gambling venues really want to see the Rams, Detroit, or the Patriots in the SB. Our Bucs always get the cold shoulder. Ya, we are in a bad spot right now, but gee whiz it’s like how much kicking us when we are down can these people do because it may not qualify as a team to bet on. I cannot wait until we get everyone back and are winning again. It can happen.
November 25th, 2025 at 11:38 am
We were world beaters midway thru the season. And look at us now. I’m telling all of you, Despite their record, the Arizona Cardinals are no slouches. They have lost at least 4 games by 1 to 3 points. Their Qb Brissett (who we should have picked up). is strong. If you let him sit in the pocket, He has over an 80% completion rate. You gotta sack this big man. And their defense play hard..Better than ours.
We need this game very Badly. If Bowles loses? I would fire him immediately following the game.
November 25th, 2025 at 11:55 am
I was just reading that Baker is expected to rest this week and maybe return against the Saints. Maybe that Balzaac guy can play?
November 25th, 2025 at 12:02 pm
Bowles’ scheme is incredibly frustrating because he refuses to adjust to his players’ strengths—period. If anyone wants to argue, please explain how using Vita Vea as a spy on 3rd down against Josh Allen makes any sense. Forget the outside linebackers dropping 20 yards into coverage; Vita Vea simply cannot function as an effective spy. I’ve watched non-running quarterbacks outrun him in the past. Yes, he’s big and strong, but he’s not fast, quick or explosive sure. You can argue that he accelerates reasonably well, but even at top speed—reached in about two seconds—he’s still not fast enough for that role.
EVER!!! LOVE VEA AMONG MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BUCS BUT HES NOT A SPY!!!

All Bucs fans
THE BUCS WILL LOSE AGAINST THE CARDINALS…..
……so don’t be disappointed after this Sunday……prep yourselves

That’s a bit of a stretch. In the early part of the season, Mayfield rallied the team from what looked like losses into W’s. In fact, this team with all the injuries isn’t even mediocre. The defense is putrid. Not sure if the DC/HC just doesn’t have enough football talent or is incompetent. What I do know is Jacksonville and NE have turned their programs around with new coaches. It is a lot easier to try new coaching than to turn over the roster.

PLEASE FIRE JASON LICHT. BRADY WON US A SB NOT JL. Dude sucks.
