Another Practice Day For Luke Goedeke; Chris Godwin, Bucky Irving And Haason Reddick Still Out

November 6th, 2025

Bucky Irving

Status quo on the Bucs’ key injury front.

Today was a practice-in-pads today for Tampa Bay. Right tackle Luke Goedeke (healing foot) was on the field, as he was yesterday. The official injury report comes out late this afternoon. Goedeke hasn’t played since tapping out in Week 2.

Chris Godwin (fibula), Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder) and Haason Reddick (ankle/knee) remain sidelined.

  1. BucU Says:

Let’s all hold our breath for Godwin and Bucky coming back this year.
    “They are week to week”.
    Pfffft.

  2. Daryl Green Says:

    The rams for Bucky.

  3. Ben Says:

I just cant see why they wouldn’t place them on IR if they weren’t coming back this year and add other players. For this reason I think they do come back and it’ll prob remain under the radar to keep teams somewhat unprepared. I don’t mind the silence on the injury front, just frustrated by the injuries in general.

  4. Smarter than Joe Says:

If Licht doesn’t have regrets about re-signing Godwin he’s a CLOWN

9 games left, I doubt Godwin is on the field for more than 3 of them

  5. Jeff Says:

Save Luke for the conference games. Beating the Patriots will be virtually impossible. Let’s save Luke for winnable conference games.

  6. Daryl Green Says:

Jeff that’s crazy talk. We going to beat the pats it won’t be easy. Luke needs to be on the field PERIOD

  7. Aqualung Says:

People need to understand something. Jeff is an ultimate superstitious warrior. If he ever gets positive about the Bucs before a game, we will lose.

I share this trait, but have fallen off the wagon and started giving kudos to Todd and the defense. I apologize.

We should be thanking Jeff for upholding the method.

  8. Stanglassman Says:

Bucky and CG aren’t coming back this week. I don’t know much about Reddick’s status but not practicing on Thursday is a not a good sign. The good news is Goedeke is out there and looks like he has a real chance at playing Sunday. Just 3 days ago I was hearing people doubt he would be back this season at all. Someone going as far as to say they had it from a good source that he wasn’t returning in the regular season. I’m not claiming to have inside information I’m just piecing together the public information on their injuries.

  9. heyjude Says:

Just a feeling that Coach is making sure they are stronger for later games.

Smarter than Joe – Obviously, Chris’ injury was more severe and is taking some time. He was put in gingerly for that reason, not to worsen it but to give him some playing time. Jason and Todd know what they are doing. Have him ready for the Saints, Falcons, and Panthers games. The home stretch.

  10. Down Under Says:

    Buccaneers next 4 games>> Pats 34 Bucs 20…… Bills 41 Bucs 23……. Rams 37 Bucs 20…… Cardinals 27 Buccaneers 17

  11. Rover Says:

    This crap is laughable.

  12. jcscycles Says:

    We will beat the Cardinals.

  13. 813BUCBOI Says:

Luke practicing back to back days is exciting news!!!!!!

would rather he sit vs the Pats and knock off the rust against the bills but bowles knows best!!!!

    GO BUCS!!!!!

  14. BucsFan81 Says:

Yea Godwin and Bucky are not going to play this week and wouldn’t really count on them playing until we get to December. My guess is Bucky and Godwin come back the beginning of December and Evans at the end of December beginning of Jan when playoffs start

HAHA even with the Injuries I don’t see us losing all those games. We can beat the Patriots coming off a bye week with rest and the Cardinals we can beat. Rams and Bills have pretty much had our number so yea those games are probably losses.

  16. Down Under Says:

I am upset to hear the passing of the young man with the Dallas Cowboys, I feel like it puts Foozball in perspective which leads me to the next topic, it appears that some of you live and breath for this website, to post nonsense all day and on Sundays sit online and post all day long, sad reality. Perhaps you people are also suicidal as you have no friends or girl to hang with only Joe.

This makes me feel sad, please consider reaching out to a counselor for therapy and maybe just maybe you will meet a friend

  17. Billy Bucco Says:

Impossible to beat the Patriots LMAO
    What a clown
They have won exactly 1 good game against the Bills.
Does anyone remember the Patriots running 85 times a game against them to win?
They even have close wins against the Saints for crying out loud. Atlanta please.
Boutte is out, Maye takes sacks the Bucs are ABSOLUTELY still winning this game.
They haven’t faced a D as good as ours yet.

  18. Billy Bucco Says:

    That explains it.
Down Under is watching the wrong game!

  19. Warren Brooks Lynch Says:

People were calling me a troll for saying Grizzard used Bucky too much in the first 2-3 games, now the kids season is FUBAR and nobody outside of he and the doctors he’s been seeing has any real timeline for his return. Then I keep reading, “we’ll be better when Bucky is back” as if our problems are solved with him coming back well under 100%. Football and football injuries don’t work that way.

  20. RagingBrisket Says:

Medical/training staff is suspect. All started with throwing Wirfs into surgery on the eve of training camp. Licht is the man in charge and the man that should be held accountable. These clowns don’t know what the eff they are doing.

  21. LVMYBUCS Says:

    Should have let CG walk

  22. Gofortheface30 Says:

“Beating the patriots will be virtually impossible” says a commenter on here. The Bucs are much more talented than New England, even with the injuries. You are a moron. And a loser

  23. Lightningvinny1 Says:

3-1 the next 4,,, stay on schedule ,,, Beat the Pats and Cards,,, split with the Rams and Bills ,,, The D will be huge

  24. SB~LV Says:

Bucky is not a #1 NFL
    running back
He is a special rotational player.
As a rookie he didn’t play early because he was a rookie, when he started getting his touches he was over used and took a beating.
2025 he was tasked with the #1 RB role and was beat up again.
He is a stiletto not a broadsword!
Need to draft a real #1 like the top SB contenders have and then work Bucky in the mix
We have a lot of holes to fill on offense skill next offseason

  25. Hodad Says:

Truth be told Godwin should’ve sat out the season. His ankle was mangled, and required a second surgery before camp. No way was he ready to take the field when he did. I also believe Bucky’s injuries are more serious than we’ve been led to believe. I don’t trust the Bucs medical staff, and trainers. Wonder if the Buc players do? I certainly don’t believe a word that comes out of Bowles mouth when he speaks of player injuries. We just found out J Mac has a fractured neck, not just a strain! Bowles has known this since August, and we’re just hearing it now! wouldn’t doubt Bucky’s injuries are just as bad.
