The Thursday Buccaneers-Seahawks Injury Report

October 2nd, 2025

Still out.

The Bucs’ injury report looks like something Joe would expect to see in Week 17.

Sixteen Bucs are on today’s injury report, not counting those on injured reserve like starters Luke Goedeke and Calijah Kancey. Seattle, Sunday’s opponent, has only six on their injury report and two were full-go in practice today. Of the wounded Bucs, nine were classified as full-go, up from three yesterday.

Joe uses “classified” because the Bucs didn’t practice today. Just a walk-through.

Jamel Dean (hip), Mike Evans (hamstring), Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder), Christian Izien (quad) and Benjamin Morrison (hamstring) were all on the unable-to-practice list. The great news was seeing defensive tackle Greg Gaines (pectoral) upgraded to full-go. Ira Kaufman Podcast listeners were made aware of that uplifting likelihood in yesterday’s episode.

The full injury report is below.

Gruden says it’s because they don’t practice hard enough during preseason Nd in pads, I’m starting to agree I don’t remember injuries like this even when Perkins was running 3 a days.

  2. Christopher Schiefen Says:

If we’re counting IR why no Mauch mention?

  3. Truth be Told Says:

White will be just fine with Tucker. Rest Bucky. It is a long season. Go Bucs!!

  4. GoneGator Says:

It actually doesn’t look as bad as I thought would be…. If our limited guys (Tykee and LVD) can go along with our guys returning to full practices, we may survive 🤣

Hopefully we’ll get healthy, close to full strength, for the back half of the season 🤞🏼

  5. MadMax Says:

Let Bucky heal….and why have we not re-signed White? Get on it Jason!

  6. Christopher Schiefen Says:

Nick, completely agree, been saying it for 3 years. You can’t just ramp up like that and not expect problems. Funny, the player who negotiated basically non-practices (Tretter) is no longer at NFLPA, & the dude who set the no-preseason trend (McVay) constantly has his team injured.

  7. Truth be Told Says:

    Christopher-

There are no players on IR on that list. Why ask about Cody??

  8. Christopher Schiefen Says:

Truth: because Joe brought up IR players but missed Mauch for some reason

  9. Christopher Schiefen Says:

And the FUNNIEST thing of this all was basically not having real practices means the lines don’t play together, then they get into the season and the quarterbacks get injured. So the thing they used to “protect” the players is hurting the most valuable players and hurting the business

  10. Jeff Says:

Bucky ain’t playing. Neither is Dean or Morrison. Seattle’s defense is legit. And they have enough on offense to give a Todd Bowles Defense fits.

  11. Bucs4Ever Says:

Fantasy nerds need to pick up Rashaad white yesterday FYI if you have Bucky and say Bijan Robinson…

  12. Outrigger Says:

I don’t like our chances in this game. Will be hard pressed to get a win in any of their next 3 games. Schedulers weren’t kind to us with next two opponents coming off 10 days rest. Hopefully we can steal one of these 3, best the Saints and go into the bye at 5-3

  13. Aqualung Says:

Pressure on the Darnold and tight sticky coverage. No wasy 15 yard wide open dudes. And out Dennis on Soecial Teams full time. Or in the kitchen.

  14. sethery Says:

let Bucky recover! we have depth at RB we want him healthy the rest of the season.

  15. Buc1987 Says:

Come on Bucky get well soon!
