Agreed on the Cream drummer. BTW, have you heard of Estepario Siberiano? He’s amazing…a modern day Peart plus more.

  2. DoooshLaRue Says:

Bonham is the best out of those 3.

  3. Permanently Moderated Says:

I have to agree with Joe on the drummers. Bohnam was great, but Moon was all energy all the time. His drumming on Won’t Get Fooled Again is classic.

College players gambling is not going to end well. You don’t have to gamble on college ball to still get in trouble.

    punching bag
That dude should ask politely for his money back on those 3 boxing lessons.

    Drummers
Ginger or Bonham, Toss up to me. They both did things nobody has done since.

    Cheerleaders
My brother and my best buddy both dated Swashbucklers back in the late 70’s neither girl was getting rich from it and yes they were both extremely good looking.

    Go Bucs!

  5. BucSpain Says:

Didn’t expect to hear about el Estepario Siberiano on this here website. He’s awesome!

    Gronk’s explanation is great.

  6. Bojim Says:

    Baker. Bonham. Then Moon. IMO.

  7. ballwasher61 Says:

3 different styles of drummer, I are 1. All had swing to them but Moon is the most un-copiable of the 3. I’ve jammed Cream and Zeppelin and Who songs are harder because of the odd timing of Keith. Peart loved all of them and he’s right, Ginger was the first, in fact he was studied in Jazz.

He should be fired. I saw a joke on X saying that as punishment he should be forced to play for the New York Jets for another five years.

Ginger Baker, John Bonham or Keith Moon? Joe will take Keith Moon.

I will also take Keith Moon. He’s the best rock drummer of all time that I am aware of.

  9. KABucs Says:

BucSpain? Are you actually in Spain?
I was born in Sevilla when my dad was stationed there in the air force. My mother was a Sevillana. Came back to Tampa Bay and I was just a little baby. On my dad’s side my family goes back seven generations here in the Brandon / Riverview area.
But I’m still half a Spaniard… had a dual citizenship for 18 years.

At least Gronk’s explanation makes some sense. Cuz that would be a serious brain fart if that wasn’t an actual name from somewhere in his past. LOL

I’m a little put off by Gruden’s video. Maybe when he said the Colts and Jags were the best teams in the NFL, he was just talking about the AFC. He better have been to not include the Bucs.
Kidding … I get he used those two as an example because they were God awful last year.
While they were whining about terrible football this past weekend, that Bucs / Seattle game had very few penalties called. Wasn’t exactly a defensive showing but it was definitely a QB & offensive masterclass

  10. Aqualung Says:

    Bonham. Not even close.

  11. Jmarkbuc Says:

[If Joe wasn’t in a good mood this morning you’d be bounced. Calling people a “felon” when they’ve never served time and claiming “domestic abusers” work at an outfit is a Crime Against Joe. Guess who gets sued for that? Hint: It ain’t some invisible person who likes to gloss himself as “Jmarkbuc.” Now, unless you want to donate a significant amount to Joe’s legal defense fund, take the kind advice and knock it off. — Joe]

  12. Joe Says:

That’s why Joe always believed John Entwistle was the greatest rock bassist. Dude had to keep up with Keith Moon.

(John Paul Jones is the greatest living rock bassist. Notice the keyword “living.”)

  13. DoooshLaRue Says:

    Joe,
Agree with JPJ being the greatest living bassist.
He is my all-time favorite bass player as well as a phenomenal arranger.
Led Zeppelin wouldn’t have been nearly as great without his well rounded skills.

    Fully agree!

Some of the live Zeppelin shows with John Paul Jones playing on Dazed and Confused is just amazing.

  15. Razorramone Says:

Great documentary called ” Beware Of Mr Baker”. In it he states that he was friends with Both Moon and Bonham and neither one could hold his jock, or his sticks. Classic. Typical Ginger Baker. He even played on a Public Image Ltd. record.

  16. Aqualung Says:

Love John Paul Jones. And he did so much more musically than just his bass work. Haunting keyboards and textures, a lot of the musicality of Zep’s writing came from JPJ.

But best rock bassist? Geddy Lee might have something to say about that.

  17. Alanbucsfan Says:

Michael Shrieve, original drummer for Santana, is a great American rock drummer who was only 20 when his fabulous solo was featured in their song, Soul Sacrifice at Woodstock.

  18. Ultra Clodhopper Says:

    Haha Jmark

It’s quite possible the only thing that kept you here was the Godwin news not breaking two hours earlier.
