“I Don’t Think I Ever Saw Him On The Board”
October 2nd, 2025
Rookie receiver Emeka Egbuka.
So the Bucs have an accountability tracking system in place for every practice.
Make a mental error of any sort in practice? It goes up on a board for all to see.
Lavonte David talked about that board this week on the Buccaneers Radio Network. David is stunned that he’s never seen Emeka Ebuka’s name on it.
The Bucs’ captain reflected on how the rookie has blown the team away from Day 1. David said he started getting multiple texts early in the spring (before David arrived for work) about how Egbuka was a true pro already.
“Just his smartness, you know, it showed,” David said. “I don’t think, honestly as a rookie, I haven’t [seen anything like it], because we put up mental errors after each practice. I don’t think I ever saw him on the board.”
David explained that Egbuka practicing mistake-free is a mind-blower because of how complex the Josh Grizzard offense is. David said he spent a day off studying the offense and marveled at how complex it is with sometimes three plays coming in at once. No chance David will move to offense, he joked.
Egbuka is racking up Bucs rookie record after rookie record: most touchdowns by a rookie receiver through four games, most yards receiving, longest receiving touchdown, the list goes on.
What a first-round pick by Buccaneers Ring of Honor general manager Jason Licht and the front office team he’s so proud of.

I truly wonder if we’ll ever see Mike, Chris, JMac, and EE out there at the same time. The way things are going it’s not likely.

∆∆∆ naysayer, Evans goes down with hammies every year, Godwin just got back, Jmac has a NECK issue

I told people from the beginning that it wouldn’t surprise me if Egbuka ended up getting OROTY this year. Basically because he was gonna have to get in there right away with some of the injuries at WR.

We are well aware Stupid.

If Kancey would just be able to stay healthy we’d be talking about three home runs in a row.

the thing that impresses me the most with our players is that we dont have any “knuckleheads”…
we dont hear anything off the field regarding our players and i personally havent seen any of them in a clothing optional establishment lol…
saw several under BA, dirk, and lovie lol
GO BUCS!!!!

Dixon is up there all the time.

Wow. So if they’re still have the accountability sheet, they must not use it for games. Otherwise Tucker wouldn’t be edge blocker for punt protection and Dennis would be in biotech or something.

Has his head on straight and comes to WORK.
Yes this is his job now. He knows he is no longer in college.
The dude walks and talks INTEGRITY.
GOOD JOB Licht!!!
Keep them coming and the losing years are over.
LFG!!!!

I assume Dennis is on top of that board?
He can’t even account for a QB chasing HIM to the end zone…

Seems like the Bucs follow the No Asshole Rule…good for them!

Great… Love EE
That’s 36 articles so far this season repeating that he’s smart and doesn’t play like a rookie 🤣
Just messing with you today Joe

^ JMac won’t be forgotten as soon as the OL is in tact and the offense is healthy (minus Mauch of course).
Then some poor D is gonna have a 4 wide set trotted out at them with Bucky in the backfield and have no chance.
What a pick by Licht and co. The pick has gotten better with every passing day since the draft. Very few people knew how awesome this Egbuka pick was on draft night. I tip my cap to them, I wasn’t upset about it but I certainly thought we were going D.

Obvious Says:

^^^^^^
I was a huge CK fan and supporter. He started the year taking a step backwards. Totally ineffetual. Now we know his body cannot stand up to the rigors of the NFL. He’ll be, at best, a rotational player.

If the Bucs defense plays like they did in the second half against the Eagles, EE 2 is going to single handily kick Seattle’s butt !! Of course with a little help from CG 14, SS 17, CO 88, and RW 1 !!
Go Bucs !!!
