Betting The Bucs (Week 8 Edition)

October 26th, 2025

Through seven weeks, Joe has a 12-9 record on Buccaneers-related wagers in this space and is up $137.00 on the season.

That’s not worth a standing ovation, but it is quality work.

A 57 percent winning rate on picks is very solid, and Joe absolutely stays away from poor odds.

Disclaimer: Do NOT wager if losing will ruin your life, or day, or week.

Betting The Bucs shows you Joe’s pregame bets tied to the Buccaneers. Joe would say it’s all for fun, but this is business. (In-game wagers are best for processing the best information, but Joe cannot take that on here in real-time.)

Florida sports betting is sanctioned by the government through Hard Rock Bet, the source of the wagering lines shown here.

For this afternoon’s Bucs game in New Orleans, Joe has a few selections:

*The Bucs have had trouble with yards after catch from opposing running backs. The targets will be there for Saints running back Alvin Kamara, and it’s very reasonable to think the Saints will test the Bucs in the flats. Joe certainly would. The “over” 24.5 receiving yards for Kamara here feels like quality value. And after Saints QB Spencer Rattler had a bunch of turnovers last week, Joe thinks an extra confidence/rhythm throw or two to Kamara is likely.

*The Bucs plan to run early and often after throwing 50 times on Monday. Rachaad White will carry the mail and Joe loves the chances of White hitting five first-quarter carries. An even-money wager for him to hit 15 yards in the first quarter? Joe’s throwing money there.

*As Joe wrote, Vita Vea is facing is having a very strong year and is playing a high percentage of snaps. He’s also facing the Saints’ backup center here, a Jaguars reject. At least a push feels likely on the half-sack total, so Joe is diving in, even with Vea dealing with a foot issue.

**Side note: if the Bucs score first, then Joe is likely to throw money quickly on the Saints’ subsequently changed in-game line if it hits +7.5 or more.

Good luck!

Atlanta getting wrecked by the Dolphins lol. Any given Sunday. Bucs better be ready for the saints.

  4. Bosch Says:

Dolphins / Falcons at the half. Dolphins up by 2 TDs.

  5. Steven #55 Says:

Falcons and Panthers both losing – if it stays that way a win today goes a long way to winning the South. Go Bucs

  6. HC Grover Says:

Bucs should win going away against these Stainks. Unless we have a problem with Voo Doo or a major Bowles Blunder….Cakewalk. The Carolina Shrimps are stinking it up and so are the Chicks.

  7. Bosch Says:

Panthers just missed a short FG to end the half down by 16.

  8. ModHairKen Says:

AFC East helping the cause today. So far.

  9. Rod Munch Says:

Speaking of sports bets, did you just see Bijan Robinson ‘lose’ the ball – looked like something you’d see happening in the NBA. I think the Mafia is looking to recoup some of their money by going into the NFL business.

  10. Mac Says:

Grover I guarentee this game will NOT be a cake walk. I will be shocked if we win honestly. What is Bowles record going into the bye week. Guarentee it’s not good!

  11. Rod Munch Says:

I like the first two bets, they seem solid. The sack however is a pretty difficult prediction, not saying it won’t happen, but I’d probably skip that bet, even at 3:1.

Based on the history of the Bucs-Saints, I’d probably take whatever odds you’d get for a Taysom Hill anytime TD.

When I first saw this I thought it read that Joe was up $137,000. on the season. Thought to myself how can I get JBF to hook me up w/ his betting.

  13. Jeff Says:

Pro tip. Don’t bet on the Bucs.

  15. Keydoc Says:

Watching the early games and enjoying the RAH coached dirty birds laying an egg at home. Buffalo looks focused and playing angry against carolina. Nfc south defenses takingga beating today. LFG bucs

  16. Bucfan1988 Says:

Wowwwww, Atlanta & Carolina are getting their tail ends WHOOPED today!!

Falcons gettting stomped by a 1-win Dolphins team in their own house 😂😂😂!!

    Let’s go Bucs!!

Take care of business today, and get some rest afterward, and heal up!!!!

  17. PSL Bob Says:

Both Atlanta and Carolina getting creamed today. We beat the Saints and open up a significant lead in the NFC South. Our odds of making the playoffs should go up substantially. Come on boys, no let downs!

  18. Rod Munch Says:

Want to talk about rigged, look at how many calls the Eagles have got today to bail them out over and over and over again.

  19. Tye Says:

If today is any barometer of the season end, the atrocious NFC South will once again GIFT the crown to the Bucs….

  20. Rod Munch Says:

Want to talk about rigged… the Ravens defense just hit a Bears receiver, knocked the ball loose, then as both offensive player and the defensive player are going to the ground, the ball is on top of them, both of the players reach and grab the ball, but the defender has more control of the ball – and guess what!?! The refs say tie goes to the offense, because that’s always been the call all throughout history. Except for one game.

  21. orlbucfan Says:

I don’t gamble. No attraction to it. I’ve run up against people who are addicted to it. I might play LOTTOx once in a while, but I do it as a joke. So the sorry Dolphins are beating Atlanta. That could happen here. Bucs have to outwit the refs. We’ll see. Go Bucs!!

  22. Surfing The Waivers Says:

Why do the Bucs struggle with Atlanta?!?!

They’re a garbage team. They’ve been outscored 61-3 against the Panthers and Dolphins. That’s pathetic.

Bucs better beat the ATL by 40+ next meeting.

    No excuses.

  23. orlbucfan Says:

Hey Joe, when do you crank up the live game thread?

    ———-

A garbage team that just easily beat Buffalo.

  25. Surfing The Waivers Says:

Sean McDermott is an overrated clown

They can score 40+ a game but can also give up 50

    Buffalo is a fugazi a mirage a what’s it

  26. Rod Munch Says:

    Results:

Win – White did have 15+ yards in the 1st quarter.

Loss – Kamara had 24 yards receiving.

Loss – No sack for Vita.

The FBI needs to look into Kamara only getting 24 yards when needing 25, along with Whistlegate.
