Vita Vea Is Active

September 7th, 2025

Inactives announced.

Yes, Vita Vea is active today. And he will play in the season-opener today at Atlanta.

Vea was slowed this week by a foot injury. But he practiced Friday and is good enough to go today.

Others watching the game in street clothes are WR Chris Godwin, RB Josh Williams, CB Benjamin Morrison, CB Kindle Vildor, DB Christian Izien, T Tristan Wirfs and TE Devin Culp.

    Great news! Now let’s win!

Awesome, now let’s just win baby! Go Bucs!

Culp is a healthy scratch? Ugh.

  4. Hunter Says:

Not surprised about Culp, assuming he’s healthy. I think we like the idea of having a fast, receiving TE, but he has been inconsistent in the role with the fumbles and occasional drops. Have to be damn near perfect when it comes to those when you’re not a great blocker..

He started training camp on fire. After the first couple of weeks, he slowly vanished to the point that when training camp was over, you forgot he was on the roster.

Not good when you are a No. 3 guy at any position when you tail off as training camp ends.

The Vita picture shows a big soft man of color, lucky we already know that he is strong beast. Glad to have him, would love to know the specifics of what foot and what exactly was the problem.

  7. Warren Brooks Lynch Says:

Did he tail off just because he wasn’t performing well? or was there a physical hinderance that led to his play diminishing?

  8. Smashsquatch Says:

Love the contrast Joe. Vita pictured with man boobs and a pot belly, yet listed as active. Hard to imagine that body moves mountains, but Vita is the exception. I’ll take him on my team all day long!

  9. Aqualung Says:

Imagine if Vita had a coach who would instill the drive in him to be his best great self and live up to his potential. The fact that he is this out of shape reflects poorly on him, and even more on his low/no expectations part time coich.

Barton to left tackle? They aren’t messing around today

  11. Todd Bowles fan club Says:

It’s nothing against Culp ,they just want bigger blocking TE till Wirfs returns. Culp is $$ catching the ball during regular season games.

  12. D-Mac Says:

Smashsquatch, I was wondering if anyone else noticed the subtle irony of that.
