Thursday Bucs Injury Report; Two Miss Practice

Haason Reddick is banged up.
The Bucs defense has taken a bit of a hit.
Defensive tackle Greg Gaines, a big part of the Tampa Bay’s interior line rotation, came out of Sunday’s game with an ankle injury and did not practice today.
Limited in practice was starting outside cornerback Zyon McCollum. He’s listed with shoulder and neck injuries. Edge rusher Haason Reddick also was limited today with a bad foot. Cornerback Benjamin Morrison and Christian Izien returned full-go from their injuries.
As Joe mentioned earlier in great detail, right tackle Luke Goedeke missed today’s underwear football session with a bad foot.
And the great news of the day was stars Tristan Wirfs and Chris Godwin returning to practice after several months. Both were “limited.”

With the Bucs second to everyone training and medical staff, they’ll probably all end up,getting surgeries on Saturday and miss 8 weeks.

Extra day of practice/recovery this week. I don’t read a lot into it. I mean Bowles said Chris and Tristan were in play for this week for crying out loud. 😂😂😂😂

Monday night is a long way off. I’m feeling good about this injury report. I just as soon hold CG14 and Wirfs back until Philadelphia. Maybe let them get their feet wet against the Jets but Philly’s the first real test!

I don’t know about that. It feels like the Bucs just played a couple of days ago, and we’re already back with more NFL football tonight.
While I’m probably 9 or 10 decades younger than you, it sure seems like time accelerates as I get older, so I can’t imagine how quickly things move for you.

You are correct time speeds up for sure. I’m not so sure it speeds up as it is that you become very aware of the value of every day. Which is a good thing.

When I was young I intellectually knew that any minute could be my last. The only difference is now I can feel that more acutely. It’s great though it leads to mindfulness. You simply learn to appreciate every minute and every victory.
This is why I view the Bucs win as a terrific start. They beat a decent team (we really don’t know how decent/good yet but Penix shows promise for sure) when they were playing far less than their A game. That first quarter they didn’t even bring their C game but they recovered and in the worn out phrase, “found a way to win”.
