Welcome to your Morning Cup of Joe, an eye-opener to help Joe’s readers ease into their busy workday with a few football links, wacky news and a pleasant distraction.

UCLA has hit rock bottom so badly, not even crap conferences want them. Hey DeShaun Foster, banning your players from talking to the media (and inhibiting them from making more money) has really worked out well for you, hasn’t it? Fool. [Awful Announcing]

College hoops fans in particular, and college sports fans in general, should love this. The Field of 68, which is an excellent basketball site, and On3 unite. On3 was first founded (as the name suggests) and always has been a strong football-focused site, for good reason. Football sells. Now, On3 will have a really solid basketball presence. Loved Trevor’s hand move! Says a lot too. Something there, there.

Browning is a good back-up to Burrows. They probably have nothing to worry about.

What has happened to the Dolphins is right. Seems to be discourse all over the place. I like McDaniels. It’s too bad.

Thinking Shedeur Sanders would have been a better fit on the Ravens instead of the Browns.

Lawrence represented Tampa Bays entire team and fan base with that gesture toward the snake!

Trevor Lawrence is the problem in Jax. The guy is just not an NFL quarterback
