Luke Goedeke, Cody Mauch Placed On Injured Reserve
September 18th, 2025
Placed on IR.
Don’t expect to see right tackle Luke Goedeke on the field for the Bucs for at least a month.
Tampa Bay made the bad news official this afternoon. Goedeke was placed on injured reserve with a bad foot. That means he’ll miss at least four games, per NFL rules. Also on IR is right guard Cody Mauch; reports say he had season-ending knee surgery.
The Bucs also made official the signing of veteran guard Dan Feeney off the Bills’ practice squad.
Added to the Bucs’ practice squad is former Eagles guard and Bucs guard Sua Opeta.

No worries we still have Heck… Bowles is a Bozo but he might keep ir close. He ha total job security.
September 18th, 2025 at 4:23 pm
My Two cents vs JETS:
LT Benjamin Chukwuma (Vs jets seems to be very good opportunity)
LG Ben Bredeson
C Graham Barton
RG Michael Jordan
RT Sua Opeta (Or Heck
September 18th, 2025 at 4:23 pm
Bredeson and Barton holding steady, Wirfs back in a week or two and Luke back in 5 or six weeks. Hate that for Mauch. Tough SOB playing on that leg the other night. Wow! Whatever we’re paying Bredeson it isn’t enough. Heard many complaints about his measurable skills and silly grades but that dude is a football player! These guys are going to be all right.

Look we all know what the end game will be its the same every year will Bowles at the helm. We will get close and lose thats how the ship is run with Bowles as the capt. We need a real head coach a winning head coach. This team looked good on paper but this blooper making head coach and staff just keep makeing stupid mistakes and it keeps costing us every season. THIS COACHING STAFF IS A WASTE OF GOOD PLAYERS.
September 18th, 2025 at 4:28 pm
I like it Kenton. Also – glass half full. We beat the Jets. Wirfs comes back for the Eagles game. Barton back to center, Bredeson back to left guard. Klien goes to RG and improves every game. Heck holds his own until Goedeke gets back at RT. Chukwuma gets some valuable reps in releif at LT and RT.
September 18th, 2025 at 4:30 pm
Our strength & conditioning and training staffs need to be totally replaced.
September 18th, 2025 at 4:46 pm
Hey coach. Quit putting players on the field. Football is a rough sport. Plyers might get injured. Hell they might even get hurt by themselves!
September 18th, 2025 at 5:00 pm
Would love to see a lot of motion, traps, play action shots to Mike, and TE screens. Pound the rock and let the linemen pull and blast some folks. I bet if we can be determined to run the hell out of the ball this weekend, we can use the FL heat to our advantage. GOP we rock the white unis
September 18th, 2025 at 5:03 pm
How the heck did we reach such a disaster on that offensive line.
September 18th, 2025 at 5:07 pm
Both Luke & Cody were injured Monday night and continued to play in the game……..I’m not surprised their continued play resulted in IR for both of them.
The same for Egbuka……he got wrapped and went back in….now he may miss multiple games.
You have to question the players & coaches for allowing them to play with injuries…..
September 18th, 2025 at 5:08 pm
People need to back off the training and medical staff. Every guy has a different injury. It is football. They can change whatever rules they want – it’s dangerous to get out there. Always will be. That’s the sport.
Tough break for the team, and for these dudes that need to heal up. This team plays late in the playoffs, we’ll be talking about the One Legged Performance of Cody. That took real balls.
September 18th, 2025 at 5:12 pm
people who don’t understand the injuries have never played football
September 18th, 2025 at 5:20 pm
Good thing Baker can run. He will be running for his life. Probably a lot more of the running game and less passing until we can get Wirfs back
September 18th, 2025 at 5:21 pm
Hilarious that LVMYBUCS.
That was one of the worst takes I have seen.
September 18th, 2025 at 5:28 pm
I like the idea of getting Chukwuma some real game experience against the Jets.
September 18th, 2025 at 5:37 pm
These backup offensive lineman we have may not be as good as the starters, but they give 100% effort on every snap. No giving up from this bunch. I suppose resiliency is the word that comes to mind.
September 18th, 2025 at 5:52 pm
If we’re going to have injuries, may as well have them early in the season. If the Bucs have a shot at a super bowl run this year, they need healthy starters and seasoned backups in come January. It’s a long season, everybody chill
September 18th, 2025 at 6:09 pm
If Wirfs is practicing and his knee is healed and its just a matter of getting into playing shape he needs to play or we should sit Baker and Evans and Ebuka and just concede. You can’t send Baker out there with 3/5th’s of the o-line out including both tackles.
September 18th, 2025 at 6:18 pm
I read where something’s also up with Mike Jordan.
They brought up Luke Haggard to the starting 53.
What the actual hell???
Haggard is NOT good!
Why not Opeta??
September 18th, 2025 at 6:43 pm
Can’t get through one article without some idiot making comments about Bowles..
Bash him all you want, but all he does is win.
It might not be pretty. Players love playing for him . Name a buc or former buc who has something bad to say?
Hc Grover I’m sure you could do much better? When things are going great you never say crap. Injuries are Bowles fault??
September 18th, 2025 at 6:45 pm
So the entire right side of the offensive line is gone for several weeks? This is horrible. They better win the Jets game because after that it’s going to be real hard with back ups.
September 18th, 2025 at 7:37 pm
A win Sunday would push Bowles past Father Dungy into 2nd best winning pct. in team history, behind only Arians.
September 18th, 2025 at 7:55 pm
ughhh I wish Bowles would tell us more details than its a foot or a knee
September 18th, 2025 at 8:31 pm
It was a very physical game Monday. A tough early road makes for a tough team late. Signing snother guard was okay I guess, but the need another tackle worse. I wish they trusted Klein and Chukwuma a little more. It is not a great sign that they don’t.
September 18th, 2025 at 9:21 pm
Every year seems to get worse all across the entire league, and it doesn’t make any sense, with all of the new rules regarding player’s safety. Also, considering the huge improvements in equipment, technology, sports science, nutrition, off-season training programs, analytics, and etc. You Name It! I think the NFL has got to make these teams go back to 💯 all ‘natural’ grass fields, and the Players (and Players Union) must DEMAND IT. They have the $$$$ for fresh sod and the ability to grow it indoors. I know they can figure it out! Because, you can go on down the list, from high school to college and beyond, the ‘injuries’ have been WAY UP ever since everyone has gone to these synthetic turf fields. Especially, lower body injuries like knee injuries, hamstrings, groins, & etc. Nothing else makes sense. Old-school players never missed this amount of games and even when the game itself, was farrrrr more BRUTAL. Something’s Gotta Give. The injury report all across the league right now is a JOKE. Especially, inside the trenches. They’re going to have to wrap these guys to hell, from here on out.

Just make it flag football. Nobody can step on another players foot. No more falling on another players leg causing knee or leg injuries. No more tackles by legs or feet.
This is football. Players are going to get injured. Quit crying . Coaches get paid millions to coach who ever is on the team. Not just the regular starters. If they are backups that’s the way the cookie crumbles. That is who we have. The games go on.
September 18th, 2025 at 10:46 pm
This is a must win based on future opponents. Let’s bake
September 18th, 2025 at 10:51 pm
Defend this medical/training staff all you want, but the reality is theyve botched so many injuries in the last 12 months.
-Letting Evans play against the Ravens with a bad hammy.
-Not having Wirfs get his knee cleaned up right after the season.
-Clearing Luke to play Monday night
-Mauch continuinhmg to play after hurting his knee..was more damage done because of that?
Some injuries just happen and arent avoidable, but this many injuries just seems absurd.
Ofcourse it’s football and injuries happen, but this medical/traing staff hasnt helped.
September 18th, 2025 at 11:19 pm
The Buccaneer injury bug strikes again. What is going on in Tampa where we are never ever able to keep guys healthy? I mean, typical week to week injuries are one thing, but every year it seems as though we have at least one guy missing the entire season due to an injury. And we have the Joey B versions of O-linemen. Thing God we have a little depth there, but we cant afford to lose anymore receivers right now. Bake has already been carrying this team on his shoulders as it is. I still believe in us though. GO BUCS!!!

It’s gonna be a 7 hangover weekend.
September 19th, 2025 at 12:13 am
JFC this is terrible news, but also have some of you never watched football before? Crying about players going back on the field and playing while injured? Welcome to every single game every single week of every season. Guys are always hurt and playing hurt.
This sucks but some of yall need to grow a pair.
September 19th, 2025 at 5:52 am
Get rid of artificial turf.
September 19th, 2025 at 6:37 am
Jack Burton Mercer. Couldn’t agree more. The players should simply boycott until that change is made. I don’t get it. I just don’t get it.
September 19th, 2025 at 6:56 am
Either we have extraordinarily brittle humans on this team or the coaching/medical staff is doing something wrong in OTA’s/Training camp and preseason. These guys can’t sneeze without going on IR.
P A T H E T I C.

Interesting that they elevate Jordan from the PS for 2 weeks running, and have him start. But they promote Haggard instead? What is up with that?
