Friday Injury Report: Healing Bucs
September 12th, 2025
Still out.
The Bucs are getting healthier as Monday night’s game in Houston approaches.
Haason Reddick (foot) was upgraded to full-go in practice today after being limited on Thursday. Same for Zyon McCollum (shoulder/neck).
Defensive tackle Greg Gaines didn’t practice Thursday (ankle) but was limited today. Chris Godwin (ankle) didn’t practice today after rolling for the first time in 11 months yesterday. Joe assumes it was just a scheduled rest day.
Mike Evans had an official rest day.
The only unsettling news was right tackle Luke Goedeke (foot) sitting out practice for the second consecutive day. Hopefully, this situation is just precautionary, much like Vita Vea did with his foot last week. Vea played well and for most of the game in Week 1. He’s not even on this week’s injury report.

Good sign that Wirfs went back to back days all be it limited. Hoping he is ready for the Jets. His comment about the white throw backs making the big guys look like marshmallows is too funny and I can’t wait to see them!

No Wirfs or Goedeke vs those bookends would be brutal.

this administration seems generous with the injury report. glad we rest our starters and vets well and my fingers are crossed we will have all of our starters active for a majority of the season.

Glad we get an extra day of rest this week.

Last week’s game day surprise was Barton at LT. This week’s game day surprise is gonna be Wirfs at LT.

Would like to see the Bucs bring that big NT up from the PS, and sit Gaines. He did not have a good game. Let’s see what the big young guy has.

Would rather sacrifice a loss to AFC if it means everyone is full go for week 3
September 12th, 2025 at 6:05 pm
Can the Bucs just rule out Godwin already, they’re killing fantasy managers across the nation.

MEDICAL REPORT UPDATE
Goedeke dropped his new bag of money on his foot. Shouldn’t have giving it to him in gold bars.
September 12th, 2025 at 6:17 pm
lol the Bucs don’t give a poop about your fantasy football team.

Great to see the secondary getting healthy, there are only so many bodies on the roster. We’re going to need all of those guys for proper subs and season management.
September 12th, 2025 at 7:39 pm
This does look a lot better than the Wednesday report.
I’m just glad that Chris and Tristan are back on the field. I’m in no rush to see either of them in a game, though. Slow and steady wins those races.
I’m a little concerned about Luke, and hoping it’s just an abundance of caution.
September 12th, 2025 at 7:40 pm
Rule him out yourself Rod, he’s not playing.
September 12th, 2025 at 9:04 pm
I would guess Wirfs, Goedeke, Izien, and Morrison are playing.
September 12th, 2025 at 9:06 pm
I’m not too worried about the left side of the line now that Barton is over there but yeah vs Hunter and Anderson.. if Goedeke is out that’s a problem.
September 12th, 2025 at 9:19 pm
Glad to see Izien up and practicing. He’s a headhunter and we’ll need plenty of it Monday Nite.
September 12th, 2025 at 9:47 pm
Yep Izien is the best news on that report .
IMO Tristan isn’t gonna play on turf his first game back. Maybe week 3, maybe week 4 if he thinks the white creamsicle makes his butt look fat😬.

I agree with you guys, it’s good to see Izien healing up. He’s a versatile and necessary component in that brittle secondary

Luke will be in the lineup. Wirfs may surprise us. After all he played on that injury multiple games last year. Both are tough guys.
Take it easy with Godwin? Hell yeah. We have some dudes who can play I hear.
Hope Gaines can be 100%. He does alot of the dirty work for us.
Kieft has an injured head? Huh? Not sure I have ever seen that one.
Go Bucs!
