Emeka Egbuka Is Chucky-Approved

August 19th, 2025

“Hey Glazers, that new contract you gave Jason Licht was a smart move. His drafting of Emeka Egbuka proves he’s better than my old GM, Bruce Almighty. That dope tried to stick me with friggin’ Sabby the Goat. You believe that? Jiminy Christmas!”

One guy is awfully happy the Bucs drafted Emeka Egbuka.

This man also happens to be a guy who led the Bucs to their first Super Bowl title, Chucky.

When Emeka Egbuka had a helluva touchdown catch (from an equally good throw by Teddy Bridgewater), Chucky took to Twitter to jump on the Egbuka bandwagon with other Bucs fans.

Egbuka looks like such a real deal, Joe is honestly scared to type stories about him. Egbuka is almost too good to be true for a guy who hasn’t yet played a real NFL game. Joe doesn’t want to jinx him.

Facing what Joe thought to be one of the NFL’s best defenses when the Bucs had their joint practice with the Steelers last week, Egbuka tore them up. He was overshadowed that day by Mike Evans going bananas.

If that joint practice was an NHL game, Evans would have been the first star and Egbuka would have been the second star.

Joe thinks it is way cool that Chucky is geeked for Egbuka to be in Tampa.

    In Chucky we trust

  2. Joe in Michigan Says:

Chucky drafted Michael Clayton. This is like asking Matt Millen about the Draft. Best of luck for this kid, though.

Teddys first pass to Bucky was so good he had to do it again, both TD passes were perfect on the money, coverage was there but it didn’t matter, great catches but great throws also, crazy they found this guy a suspended high school coach to back up Baker bc Trask was having a bad camp…. as long as he doesn’t lob high passes over the middle or we may not have enough receivers, rock hands jarret will be starting by week five bc all others are in the hospital…

on another qb subject- go back and watch Zyons int- Reddick lined up at DE then dropped back in coverage as a mlb causing the Steelers qb to throw high and allowing Zyon to make a great int, defense instantly got better with #5 in there

  4. First Last Says:

Emeka looks wayyyy better to start the season than JMac looked last year. EE really should be day 1 ready I think

“This guy Mike Egbuka, he’s a helluva FOOTBALL player man, let me tell you!”

  6. Warren Brooks Lynch Says:

I mean, this is the same Chucky that drafted Michael Clayton & Mark Jones in the same year, he oughta be impressed by all of our draftees just cause his drafts stunk.

  7. Curse of Gruden Says:

A “Blocking Icon Michael Clayton” reference! Well done Michigan Joe.

  8. BucVoyager Says:

Everyone who saw Clayton’s first season thought he was going to be another Hines Ward. People act like he had hands of stone his whole career.

  9. Bucsnbeer Says:

Put Chucky back in the ring of honor.

Put Chucky back in the ring of honor.

    Already happened.

  11. SlurpandMunchMyRod Says:

Michael Clayton is similar to Ringo Starr. Right place, right time. Very lucky. Clayton is a big mouth capable of spewing word salad like no other.

  12. Fred McNeil Says:

It doesn’t exactly take take a football genius to see EE has incredible talent. Ask me long about Halloween and I can give you a credible but obvious answer.

  13. Bucs4Ever Says:

dude is washed…don’t care what this loser says

  14. BucFanDMV Says:

Yea we OK on the Gruden approval, M. Clayton, R. Jones, M. Stovall, L. Brackens, C. Hankton I mean the list goes on and on … he never developed a QB here in Tampa or any WR’s worth anything, I think we are good on Gruden, if the team isn’t full of veterans Gruden isn’t winning anything …

  15. Day 1-76 Says:

Jon Gruden is not a talent evaluator. He ran the Bucs into the ground with his choices. And his GM choices are even worse. Where are those dudes now?

  16. Not My NFL Says:

    @BucFanDMV we’re*
