Training Camp Starts TODAY!

The interns are buzzing, the Wendy’s biscuits are warm and the fresh fruit looks extra shinier.
Training camp kicks off today at 8:30 a.m. It’s a short session of underwear football, typical of Day 1. Duration of glorified flag football practice ramps up steadily on Thursday and Friday, and the pads come on next week.
Football season is here!

I root for the Rays, but in general not a huge baseball fan. Seems like every time I turn on local sports radio, I quickly hop to another station. Always a baseball game on and I find nothing more brutal than play-by-play of baseball on the radio (well, golf might be worse). July is the doldrums of sports in Tampa for sure.
I wouldn’t mind going to a Rays game with some friends, but man there’s no way I can just listen to it.
