Happy Independence Day!
Today is Joe’s favorite holiday. Thanksgiving is second. Today is like Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s, all rolled into one big ol’ Star Spangled Banger Shell!
That’s what the Fourth of July is for Joe. The only thing missing is live football.
Today is all about fun (and dodging the rain). Maybe hitting the beach (if there’s any sun), hitting the water, drinking like a fish, grilling cattle, hog, chicken, buffalo and whatever animal you like, plenty of cold beer and tonight, watching people blow up stuff (which drives howling dogs throughout [oh, no] Pasco County running for couch pillows to tear up).
It’s also the height of summer when women wear scant clothing to show off bronzed bodies fresh from frolicking under the sun. What exactly is wrong with that? Not one GD thing.
And rain doesn’t mean the ladies have to wear burkas.
Celebrate your freedoms, Bucs fans. Celebrate the Bucs going for a five-peat in the NFC South! Celebrate the Bucs finally getting a proven edge rusher!
Joe hopes all readers have a helluva day and fully enjoy this extra-long weekend to celebrate Uncle Sam’s birthday — provided you don’t get too wet.
Training camp is three weeks away!

Happy Independence Day to you all! Thank you Joe for having this amazing site that gives us Bucs football while we wait for the season to start. Hope all the fans have a wonderful and fun day. Joe, there is no live football but I’m going to rewatch Super Bowl LV for the offensive and defensive fireworks.

(Joe is still irked the NFL let the Chiefs use that stolen cultural symbol of Florida State — the warchant — but wouldn’t let it the Bucs fired the cannons unless they won the game. The NFL let the Chiefs play the stolen warchant *in the state of Florida!*)
