60,000 And Counting

July 20th, 2025

As the 17th anniversary of JoeBucsFan.com nears, Joe wants to acknowledge ringing the bell this year on surpassing 60,000 Bucs-related posts in this space.

So many people to thank, including dozens of interns, Sage of Tampa Bay Sports Ira Kaufman, Kaufman’s handmaidens, the research team, the photo director, the company chef and the overworked janitorial staff at JoeBucsFan.com world headquarters.

For those outside the publishing business, that 60K number is a hell of a total. It’s unprecedented in Tampa Bay sports media, and Joe is happy to be riding this crazy Bucs roller coaster with fans.

Thank you for your patronage!

Joe stays fueled by the fun so many fans derive from these pages. It always stuns Joe how many thousands come here on allegedly quiet days, like July 4, for example.

And Joe also is still motivated by many local media types (employed and unemployed) thinking this site is an exercise in buffoonery, stupidity and an insult to thinking Bucs fans. Sorry, guys, you’re wrong and always have been.

Does Joe have another 40,000 posts to give? Maybe, but that’s like another 11 years!

Perhaps Joe will spend Sundays tailgating with the masses or working as a front office advisor before that happens.

Wow – that means I’ve read like 50,000 of those JBF posts as I became addicted to JBF in Schiano’s first year (2012) and haven’t missed many articles you’ve posted since then…..

  25. WilieG Says:

Congrats, but my math says another 40,000 articles should take about 4 years. You write them, I’ll read them.

This site may not have the blessing of the NFL Big Boys, but it has massive respect of the true Bucs fans like myself because the Joes are not afraid to tell it like it is, and are not beholden to any of them.

Congrats to all at World Headquarters! And thanks from afar here in Thailand. I get a great deal of enjoyment from your efforts.

Joe’s, thank you for all you do and the many years of great Bucs coverage. I miss the days when you used to let us buy you a beer 🍺, I think it was a few dollars through PayPal but I might be mistaken. Well if you ever decide to do an away game tailgating celebration in all of the games out of Tampa please let us know it would be an honor to shake hands and share a beer with you and your Team. Thanks again
    Sean

congrats Joe(s). I always believe that you only get out of something what you put into it. And you guys put your heart and soul in JBF. You deserve the success you are having.

  35. Kenton Smith Says:

I wondered 2 years ago if I had enough to keep me occupied in my new phase of life called retirement. Who knew a sight called JBF would be so integral to my daily life. Much respect and gratitude from a Baker Mayfield fan who is thinking Baker isn’t the only one to have gotten lucky to have found the perfect team. And a whole community to go with it. Thanks Joes and Ira. Now. It’s time for reality to set in. It’s never about what did you do for us yesterday. It’s about what are you going to do for us today- and tomorrow. And you guys show all the signs of being up to the task. Again, much gratitude and keep up the good work!
