Turnovers didn’t slow them down?? C’mon Joe
Bucs had 23 giveaways, which was most among 2024 playoff teams and too many, but not an outrageous number. Bucs had 19 in 2021. Broader point was that turnovers happen and, of course, nobody wants them. No team avoids them and as long as the total isn’t crazy, a strong offense can overcome them often. –Joe
The Falcons game in Atlanta – Irving’s fumble gave Cousins opportunity to send the game to overtime
The 2nd Falcons game – turnovers cost the Bucs big time
The Ravens game – Mayfield’s back to back interceptions handed the Ravens momentum that took the Bucs out of the game
The Cowboys game – turnovers cost the Bucs a TD and ended the game for the Bucs
The Commanders playoff game – instead of Bucs having the “killer instinct” when they had a 4th quarter lead, they turn it over in their own red zone, gifting the Commanders a go ahead TD.
The Bucs need to show some discipline, resilience and “killer instinct” in pressure situations.

Baker has a cannon but throwing a junior Duke and a NFL ball are two different things. Watch the tape. He looks at the ball and sees how small and light it feels. I could throw a jr. Duke 65 yards. A NFL ball maybe, 50-55 at best.

Don’t sleep on LSU running back Josh Williams. If Bucky gets injured (knock on wood) and he gets some carries he could be the replacement for White next year. He and JJ Roberts will be the talk of the preseason. Aside from some of the rookie draft picks. IMO those two will at least make the practice squad and push for the 53.
