Until proven otherwise, I just have zero confidence that Bowles can change his stripes on defense.
He’s too loyal to guys he likes instead of playing the best available player.
Granted we had no depth thanks to poor drafting and free agent signings by Licht.
That grand canyon size hole in the pass defense is the biggest issue at hand.
Adapt or die.

We have 2 or three players who played with Penix as the QB in college. Maybe that will help us win.

Weak secondary,
When you have to kill off 60mil a year or more in ded cap for 4 or 5 years you are not going to field the best team in the league. Licht and Bowles have done a great job of piecing together rosters that were at least competitive. This is the first year out from under the black cloud. Give it a chance man. I wish they had done a little more to shore up the hole in the middle but you can only do so much every draft. Still a shot at some more FAs. Keep your powder dry.

Great conversation and thinking about croissants early this morning!
Good points about only a few late afternoon games. Regarding the night games, the players could practice at those times and change their normal routine before that game. They practiced at night under BA. Changing their routine may help too.
Always okay with Mike staying quiet. Agree with your conversation and sometimes it’s best to not say anything. Mike is a humble guy. Love when he chatters it up on the field and side-lines though!
No ifs either. Going with 11 or 12 wins too! Go Bucs!

I feel like we have been very competitive even with that Black Cloud of a super bowl w on us. Clouds gone and we got real potential in this draft. Go BUCS!!!!!

Simmons has a history of durability. He would be the tallest safety in the room plus he can jump. Other than speed he looks to match up against taller receivers better than any of our guys. He looks like a good fit that will lead by example and contribute. He will provide important insurance. He will add depth and perhaps compete to start.
