Walter Football gave their 1st round draft grades…

2 teams got the MILLEN grade which is like an F Minus Minus Minus…

Guess who got one of them???
    Yep, THE BUCS!!!!

I’ve supported Lichts pick the last several years but this year, WHAY THE HELL IS HE THINKING ???

Yeah it was tough losing Evans & Godwin at same time last year but we still moved the ball!!!

Offense isn’t the problem, DEFENSE IS!!!!

Licht screwed the pooch with this pick.
Not saying Egbuka isn’t a good WR, but why draft him as Godwin 2.0 when we just resigned Godwin 1.0 to a good contract. Doesn’t make sense at all????

Our defense did not even force one punt in the playoff game against the Washington commanders last year. That should throw up plenty of red flags!

We need corner, safety, ILB, and a back up defensive tackle. Also, maybe even Another edge rusher..,

Knowing all this, White drafts WR in the first round With all the defensive needs.
    That was a bonehead move!

I think losing Spytek Has messed with Licht’s head 🤦🏻‍♂️..

Not sure how this was a surprise. Both Todd Bowles and Jason Licht just about broadcast this move last month at the owners meetings.

Then two days ago three guys who have a direct pipeline to the Bucs’ front office all said the Bucs would go receiver.

People always screams about best player available, what if Egbuka was?

Besides, did Roger Goodell put in some new rule that the Bucs are not allowed to draft defense tonight?

  3. Bucsfan1988 Says:

Joe, you can broadcast that all day, long with the owners meetings, because you’re trying to create a smoke screen as well.

Bottom line, do you really think wide receiver was needed more than some of the holes they have on their defense?

    Let’s use common sense here.

I’m gonna give Licht The benefit of the doubt because of how good he’s drafted for the last three years.

They better Darn well, make some moves to get some of the talent that has slipped into the second round.

Nick Emmanwori fell for some reason who I thought Bowles would be pining for….

Joe has some numbers for you in a story scheduled to publish at 3:45 a.m. eastern time. After reading those stats, you can make a compelling argument for receiver.

I’m crashing now but will read tomorrow 😉 Get some sleep Joe, haha!!

That sounds a lot more like some incoming ‘damage control’ to me, Joe. It makes me sick that we didn’t ‘move-up’ and steal Jalon Walker away from ATL… As SOON as he slipped past NOLA, he had to be ready to POUNCE. Would’ve made just soooo much more sense. He’s such an EXPLOSIVE Athlete, & an even better all-around human being.
