Bucs Kickoff Time, Date Vs. Slimy Saints Revealed

December 30th, 2024

Shortly before midnight, the NFL emailed its updated schedule for Week 18, the final week of the 2024 regular season.

The Bucs will host the slimy Saints at 1 p.m. It’s the same kickoff time as the Stinking Panthers at the Dixie Chicks.

Joe doesn’t give a flying eff about the Stinking Panthers and Dixie Chicks. All the Bucs need to do is win. Win and they are in.

A win giveds the Bucs the NFC South title for the fourth consecutive year and a home game in the wild card round of the playoffs in two weeks.

Just win Sunday. That’s all that matters. Win and in. Simple as that.

See ya in Tampa next weekend !

  2. ReeeBarrr Says:

    Goooooooooooooooooo Bucs!!!!!!!!!!

  3. BucsBeast Says:

Bowles ALWAYS plays scared in must win games.

  4. Jason Anthony Sturgess Says:

Bucs lose it’s goodbye Bowles! If the Bucs win it still should be goodbye Bowles. Does anyone really believe that if Linm Coen was not Offensive Coordinator this year the Bucs would have a chance at the Playoffs?

  5. Eric Says:

Bowles is in no danger and is going for the threepeat. With three different OC’s.

Lucky to have the man as our coach.

  6. setherick Says:

I was falling off my seat with that back and forth mess of a commanders falcons game. bucs have shown we have what it takes to be a contender. now let’s stay consistent and let’s stay healthy. no more pulled hamstrings. no more lazy coverage. we have edge rush help now, lfg!!!

if we can’t beat the slimey saints we don’t deserve a postseason run at this point but let’s take all the luck we can. more ducks during punt returns, please, football gods 🙏

  7. Fred McNeil Says:

Well Ahoy me maties and let me regale me afternoon of victory. Obviously I watched our beloved Buccaneers choose to mercifully take a knee to end the game. By then I was already drunk as can be. I fell asleep right after the Vikings game, but I woke up with a little less than three minutes left in the Falcon’s game. Ahhh sweet bliss! Let me chug my last 8 or 9 beers in all of your honors! It’s a BUCS life!!!

  8. Matt Says:

If the Seahawks beat the Rams, would that push us to the 3 seed?

  9. Zoocomics Says:

What’s truly remarkable is that if the Falcons would’ve won tonight, and the Bucs win next weekend for a 10-7 record, given the Falcons would finish off the Panthers, Bowles most likely stays, wildcard or no wildcard.

But now? You’re at home for the final game, against your most hated rival, with a 4th straight division title on the line, you lose this game, against a team that is really banged up and playing for nothing, most likely no playoffs… I’ve been a big supporter of not breaking this thing up by firing Bowles, it will be hard to keep him if we can’t beat this Saints team.

It will be Shaq’s first game back, Cade and Winfield, maybe back? Dean the only outlier. This team could be close to full-strength, and at the right time. There is no reason Tampa doesn’t beat the breaks off this Saints team. This isn’t last year’s Saints team who had a slow start to the season and were red hot at the end. Saints have to be looking at draft positioning.

Why are we lucky to have Bowles as Head Coach? Almost all of Tampa’s losses are directly attributable to his decision and defense.

  11. Jason Anthony Sturgess Says:

I don’t understand how you people still believe in Todd Bowles. The Defense & Bowles decisions was the reason the Bucs lost the games they lost. Guess who is responsible for defense? Todd Bowles!

  12. Tbbucs3 Says:

    Jason Anthony Sturgess

Most NFL fan bases would consider themselves VERY lucky to have a coach thats lead his team to 3 straight playoff appearances.

  13. Tbbucs3 Says:

Guess who’s responsible for hiring 2 great OCs in arrow? Todd Bowels!

Some of you really are just not familiar with the job description of being a head coach.

If it wasnt for Todd Bowels, the Bucs new franchise quarterback, Baker Mayfield, wouldn’t even be here.

  14. Steven007 Says:

We need to be the snot out of the saints. No question marks heading into the wild card round .

  15. C Says:

Liam for head coach. Bowls should step down for the good of the team

  16. Kenton Smith Says:

Jason Anthony Sturgess. Everything went right for our team this weekend. You ought to, if not celebrate that fact, please stop your incessant whining and go to bed. Get some sleep. Wake up with a better attitude in the morning. I’m being serious Jason Anthony Sturgess. Someone commented today about a (right bunch of twits) and they were commenting about your like Jason Anthony Sturgess. You twit. Now go on to bed.

  17. firethecannons Says:

Now would be a great time for Bowles to retire. Doesn’t he have a kid in college playing football he wants to watch?

  18. Durango 95 Says:

Congratulations to coach Coen and the players for getting this team only one win away from making the playoffs. He accomplished the work of two men.

  19. Bucfan1988 Says:

Yeah, if Bucs beat Saints, and Seattle beats Rams, we will be #3 rank in NFC…

We would have better conference record than Seattle or Rams at 8-4…
If Seattle beats Rams then they would BOTH have 6-6 conference record…

    Hope that happens….

If we wind up #4 seed then we play either Lions or Vikes in our house…

Actually as hurt as Lions are now, we might be better off playing them so hope Vikings beat Detroit next week I’m thinking???

We just gotta make sure we take care of our business and destroy Saints…

  20. Jethro Tull Says:

Blind support of Todd Bowles is just silly. Lets see what happens against the Saints at home in a must win game.

  21. Joshua Says:

    Eric is retarded

  22. AlstottRocks Says:

Bucs Will light up the Saints like earlier in the season. Hoping both Bowles and Coen are back for next season.

Regardless of how far we get this postseason, with an improved edge rush and some new / improved cornerbacks, coupled with this and past years draft classes, next year we will be strongly positioned on offense AND DEFENSE for years to come.

  23. Daniel Dream Says:

    Let’s go Bucs!!!🏈🏆🌎

  24. Rod Munch Says:

I’m hoping the Saints shutdown Carr and Kamara – no reason to bring them back for a week 18 game when their season has been over for a couple of months. But their stupid coach think he’s coaching for his job, and will probably play them if healthy – and we saw the Saints did to the Bucs last year in Tampa when they were healthy. Anywho, don’t dismiss the Saints the same way you all dismissed the Cows.

  25. Eric Says:

If you folks really think Bowles is going anywhere then you are mentally challenged.

Saints game will probably be close, this is the NFL.

I expect we win and will be a very tough out in the playoffs. We’ve beaten Philly, Detroit and Washington this season.

With Bowles and baker all things are possible.

  26. toopanca Says:

This is the 49th season for the Bucs, and the team has had 13 Head Coaches.

For 30 seasons, Bucs Head Coaches had winning percentages of less than 40%. The “leader” of that cohort is Dirk Koetter with a winning percentage of 39.6%.

For 15 seasons, Bucs Head Coaches had winning percentages of 25% or less. The “leader” of that cohort is Louie Smith with a winning percentage of 25%.

Then, you have the 19 years of the winning cohort:
    – Gruden, 7 years, 50.9%, Super Bowl.
    – Bowles, 3 years, 52%.
    – Dungy, 6 years 56.3%.
    – Arians, 3 years, 63.3%, Super Bowl.

“50 Percent Coach Bowles” already has 3rd place among the supreme cohort of Bucs Head Coaches.

If the Bucs can win Sunday and follow that with two seasons with average records of 11-6, he will surpass Tony Dungy for second place in winning percentage among all Bucs Head Coaches ever.

11-6 is actually below my expectations for the Bucs if:
    – Coen and the offense learn to win games like the game they lost in Dallas
    – if the team has a strong draft to plug some holes on defense
1st round – ILB/Edge chess piece; Jalon Walker, Georgia, probably goes to
    early, but Jihaad Campbell, Alabama, could still be on the board;
comparing Draft Profiles, he is slightly taller, slightly heavier, and
slightly faster than Lavonte David was when drafted.
2nd round – Edge/pass rush specialist; Mike Green, Marshall; worth moving
up for in the second round if needed
    – Godwin returns and I performs like he did before the ankle injury
    – The DB’s have a healthy season

  27. Ordinary fan Says:

If Baker plays ” HERO-BALL” WE LOSE 27-3. I’M EXPECT A LETDOWN THIS COMING GAME…..ITS A BUCS LIFE

  28. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Eric please if it wasn’t for Bowles’ defense and poor game time decisions the Bucs and Baker would be sitting at 12-4 with the NFC South crown and playoffs secured already

  29. Jason Anthony Sturgess Says:

Canales was not a great Offensive Coordinator. Totally overated and predictable.

  30. Jason Anthony Sturgess Says:

OK you geniuses who claim Bowles is a great Coach. If he is why is the Bucs pass defense terrible? Surely someone is responsible!

  31. heyjude Says:

Thank you for the time next Sunday. Cannot wait for the game!

toopanca – great stats! Coach Bowles is doing very well in comparison. The team respects and loves him too. Says so much.

  32. nick houllis Says:

You guys who want Coach Bowles gone, you need to lookup the phrase: “The Devil you Know… is better than the devil you dont!:

  33. Miguel Says:

Toopanca – Well researched and thoughtful comments. RU Defense Rules?

  34. Bring back the lawn chairs Says:

Whoever is head coach, I hope they have enough sense to start Bucky Emmett 2 Irving, and ride that pony hard.

  35. Bantry Says:

Be nice if the Bucs wore all pewter for the game.

  36. Kenton Smith Says:

Rod Munch tells it like it is… sometimes. And I’d say Carr is just the kind of QB who will carve us up if we don’t get after it from the gitgo. I don’t think we’ll have that problem though. Most of the problems I foresee will be our opponents problem trying to stop the juggernaut that is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Offense! And I heard Baker say we’ve got alot to clean up after yesterday’s win. He wasn’t happy with our offense kicking field goals. And he was dead serious. I believe this team is as good as anybody in this league. We might just win it all. Wouldn’t surprise me at all.

  37. The Placebo Kid Says:

Time to remove ACL’s from Saints players knees.
Let them try and play spolier and smack then in the Funking mouth.

  38. sue moore Says:

Not the biggest Todd Bowles fan. But watching some of the NFL games, we could do worse in the HC category. Be careful what you wish for. 9-7 is respectable, and 10-7 is pretty darn good. We need a next level HC…..how about hiring a Defensive Coordinator and keep Bowles?

  39. sue moore Says:

    LOL, Placebo Kid

  40. Jack Sparrow Says:

Everytime the bucs gets a big win, they follow it up with flat game. I hope next week will be different

  41. Jeffrey Becker Says:

    bowles is considering retirement right?

  42. Old Sombrero Says:

Spencer Rattler is awful. The Bucs need to blitz him early and often to get an early lead and then grind out yards on the ground with a lead and it should be an easy victory.

  43. orlbucfan Says:

Well, hot d##m, I’ve been waiting all season to find out what time this last game starts! The NFL is really doing a great job screwing itself up! Bucs will win. Slowly, we are getting the walking wounded healthy. Sure wish we could get CG14 back, but the cheating Ravens took good care of that one. I sure hope they crash and burn in the playoffs. They’ll beat the Aints. This shellacking of Carolina proves it. I figured they would beat the Panthers; I wasn’t expecting an explosion. A big thankful shout-out to toopanca for the detailed comments. Now, please come back Defense Rules! Go Bucs, 10-7! Happy New Year!

  44. I'm a Tandyman Bucs Fan Again Says:

In my area yesterday I had to watch the Giants/Colts and Bills/Jets!!!! Hoping they air the Buccaneers/Saints so I can watch my Bucs secure their place in the Playoffs. Would appear to me to be a relevant game. Probably have some Homer Games on!!!! Guess I should fly into Tampa to eliminate that problem huh!!!! Oh by the way Baker is a Stud!!!! #2 maybe behind Josh Allen but give me Baker for my Bucs. Letssssss Goooooo! Saint’s will become Aint’s after this weekend!!!!!

  45. Chef Baker Says:

Let’s go Tampa bay!!! Let them taints know who dat!!!

  46. Mike Johnson Says:

Last game of the season for the Saints. They will play all out and hard. We gotta be ready. They got nothing to lose.

  47. Paul Says:

Todd Bowles has NEVER won an important game in his entire career as head coach. Not in Tampa, or anywhere else. As for his “defensive genius”, that is to laugh. The Bucs would be 12-4 or better were it not for the repeated 4th quarter collapses in his defensive play calling. The Bucs having a shot at the playoffs is in spite of Bowles, not because of him. How about we hire a coach with a winning PLAYOFF record?

  48. Papachupachabra Says:

Thank god Atlanta Coach Rahim Morris went to the same school on clock managent that Coach Bowles did. Hopefully watching the Falcons Coach’s clock management blunders will highten just how important a few points or a few more plays can be in determining a games outcome.

  49. RASH Says:

Agree..Bowles is a horrible head coach, we win despite him not because of him. Went to bed, didn’t watch Falcons game? Go work for Hillsborough County and stand with 7 others while 1 guy digs. Your prevent defense is pathetic. 3rd downs you drop lb’s to 1st down line and then they back peddle on the snap.Easy completions all game every game.
