    TH
That’s not to be interpreted that these are the names I was wishing for but do understand that the FO did the best job they could have when their turn on the clock came knocking

  2. jarrett Says:

i think we addressed some areas of need.

WE STILL NEED A SHUT DOWN CORNER AND MORE EXPLOSIVE OFFENSIVE WEAPONS

  3. jarrett Says:

why did we trade carlton davis to the lions of all teams?

  4. Craig Says:

On paper it looks good, now if he can grab a good crop of UDFA it might work well.

We do need a CB or two and a different style of RB to complement R. White.

  5. Rod Munch Says:

You can’t do everything in one draft, and the Bucs seemingly mostly took guys who appear to be pretty safe and seem like they can play early.

Worse pick in my mind was the RB, nothing against him, his tape makes it seem like he might be a guy who will do a good job as a change of pace back – but as always, you can find RBs anywhere, there’s no need to draft them, and you can even sign proven vets for peanuts. I don’t get that move at all. But I still think he’ll be a guy who plays early and gets some meaningful snap.

Best pick, not counting the 1st round since that should always be a good pick, but the WR out of Washington. Watching his tape, reading the scouting reports, he seems like he might be a Godwin clone – he’s just a very pro-ready looking player, extremely good routes, etc.

But, with that said, my take is based off very limited knowledge as far as the draft goes, so I could be totally off base.

  6. Rod Munch Says:

The safety we drafted, is expected to be a nickel – so that is your corner. He played all over the field, so I think he’ll fit into that role, and help in run support as well. So they did address corner, although Tampa was still sitting there when we took that RB. I hope that doesn’t end up costing the team.

  7. Stanglassman Says:

Only 3-4% unhappy. That’s really good.

  8. Marine Buc Says:

The only positions of need the Bucs did not address were ILB and IDL.

I hope we bring in several UDFAs at those two positions plus a few more WRs, RBs and TEs.

I believe our first 5 picks will all be contributing in 2024 as either rotational or solid depth.

The Guard out of UTEP is one of the highest rated zone blocking lineman in the entire draft and the TE – Culp – drafted is small but ran a 4.4 – 40 at the combine.

    I give this draft a sold B.

  9. Marine Buc Says:

    *solid – not sold…

  10. Dave Pear Says:

I’d have been ecstatic until I realized there were too many injury prone baseball loving players who can be good at multiple skills. So I’m disappointed.

  11. brooks Says:

    Terrible draft. Defense wins championships

  12. NJbucs23 Says:

    Check back in 3 years

  13. A Bucs Fan Says:

@Brooks don’t get left in the past.

  14. MadMax Says:

Lol, yall need to chill….I love it!

  15. Casual Observer Says:

Looks like a solid draft to me. Licht learns more every year. Like some posters here, I thought perhaps a Mike Alstott clone (like a FB) would have been better than a Warrick Dunn clone. For those short yardage situations. But in Licht we trust. And we still need help at ILB. But you can’t get everything you want/need in one draft. Grade A draft.

  16. Tony marks Says:

Very happy. Felt we faded toward the end so a B+. Like most I wanted a rb that can punish and pick up a first down on 3rd and 2 even when the defesne knows its a run coming – but think the Bucs put an emphasis on Rbs with hands.

Scoring one more point than your opponent wins championships and sometimes it is required to have a great offense to win.

Look at Super Bowl LVII where the Chiefs beat the Eagles 38 – 35. The Chiefs had a great OFFENSE, and that’s why they won that game.

  18. MadMax Says:

You know whats better than a burger? Some shrimp/ground pork spring rolls with noodles and some spicy papaya salad!….my ex still makes it for me…combine that with medium rare steak fresh off the grill….yum!…

  19. Tbbucs3 Says:

90% of fan bases are “very happy” immediately after the draft….give it a few years and reality will set in.

This draft was good at center and that’s about it

  20. TheBigSombreo Says:

    A…. good draft

  21. Olboy Says:

We drafted our center going forward and that one choice shook up all the interior oline. That’s a huge impact right where it needs to be. Was mahogany there or was he selected one slot before ? That’s the one direction in would have went if he were that close. Other than that,. Time will tell the tale.

  22. MadMax Says:

Barton, Braswell…and Bucky….cant believe they were still there for us! Need to do my homework on the other guys

  23. Dave Pear Says:

    Max!

Sometimes an old slab of “Salisbury Steak” smothered in brown gravy and mushrooms on top of some grandma type unhealthy mashed potatoes with a good bottle of single malt is heaven!

Sometimes even alpo instead of the Salisbury Steak and mash.

Eating can be good even without money.

  24. David Says:

I was adamant for months that Hainsey had to go, and they needed to fix the IOL, and they have done that.
Two new guards signed, a new guard drafted, a New center, Hainsey probably fighting for the right guard spot. They got bigger and nastier. Can’t win if you don’t win the trenches.

Love the WR. I still think Palmer has a breakout year With Godwin moving back into the slot.

I think the safety/nickel CB they drafted ends up starting

The run game should be vastly improved at YPG.

Still concerned about ILB depths and Britt starting

  25. David Says:

Oh!! I almost forgot, the edge rusher from Bama, 8 sacks and led the SEC in pressures. Between him and Anthony Nelson, I have a feeling JTS is going to see a lot less time. Maybe even be gone if Watts & Gregory show early in the rotation

  26. firethecannons Says:

I am satisfied, I look forward to seeing last years draft picks too, hope to see more of YaYa and Calijah Kancey and hopefully Mauch is bigger/better. Still think Sirvocea Denis has potential. anyway i like Barton, Tykee Smith and the wideout from Washington. Always hope the UDFA pan out, kalen Deloach was an incredible player for FSU last year. So glad to see him on the team. He is a game wrecker so Todd Bowles is likely to put him where he can do the most good.

  27. MadMax Says:

Um, we’re picking #32 next year….just making sure yall know as I slop up some alpo and cereal milk
