Mixed Bag On Bucs Injury Report

November 2nd, 2023

Updates.

So last night was the first injury report the Bucs issued for Texans Week. There is both some good and some bad involved.

Let’s get to the good news first. Vita Vea, who missed last week’s game at Buffalo, was back at practice after a bum groin. Vea fully participated.

Joe guesses if Vea is back to full participation on a Wednesday practice for a Sunday game, it’s a good sign he can play Sunday.

Quarterback Baker Mayfield, who has a knee contusion, had a full participation in practice. Mayfield downplayed his injury yesterday at his press conference and said he’s getting better by the day.

All-Pro tackle Tristan Wirfs was limited with a quad injury suffered in the Buffalo game. So too were tight end Ko Kieft and safety Kaevon Merriweather. Both of those guys have ankle issues.

Starting defensive lineman Logan Hall did not practice. He, too, has a groin issue. Left guard Matt Fieler did not practice either as he is dealing with a knee injury.

Interesting thing with Feiler is, Joe spoke with him briefly yesterday and he seemed to be in great spirits and Joe did not notice any visible limp. So, who knows for Sunday?

Bowels should be on report since the beginning of the season with a concussion…only explanation for his coaching

Let me correct myself, he’s been concussed since last season!

Vancouver, I actually think he hit his head In LA heading out of the locker room before the playoff game????

I see BM ghost injury is active for the rest of the year. Another excuse for his bad play!

End Thursday games. All the injuries come from Thursday night’s game.

Is Dave Canales full participation or limited

I like that injury report. We need to sit Fieler, Hall, and Neil “for the playoffs”. Stinnie seemed to play better than Fieler last week. Gholston has been playing better than Hall, and Neil can sit and give Delaney some reps.

K Bazooka is a total clown….some of the most ignorant takes on football I have ever read. Go back to soccer casual moron

  12. Lakeland Steve Says:

If Feiler can’t go the backup played pretty good last week. Stinnie started in the Super Bowl for us and played well so I think we are ok there. If Hall can’t go we don’t have a big drop off there either. Gholston is an excellent player who seems to be playing even better this year getting fewer snaps.

Feiler is getting the same injury treatment that Goedeke got last season.

They are massaging vigorously on his ego by not telling us he has been benched.

    Go Bucs!
