Playoff Lenny Finally Found A Job

October 30th, 2023

Signed today.

Joe knows some Bucs fans, fully and justly frustrated by the league’s second-worst ground game, thought maybe, just maybe, Playoff Lenny could return to Tampa Bay.

What do the Bucs have to lose? they would ask.

Well, Playoff Lenny found a job today. Per Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report, Playoff Lenny signed with the Bills to their practice squad. Yeah, the same team that cheated the Bucs Thursday night on a Hail Mary.

Joe wishes Playoff Lenny the best. He was always cool to Joe. It sure seemed like he got a bad rap in Jacksonville by former strongman Tom Coughlin and others.

Good to see one of the heros of the 2020 Super Bowl season isn’t quite finished.

The Bills didn’t cheat the Bucs the refs did.

    No no no no no

  4. ModHairKen Says:

If you are winning by 12, you don’t neee a Hail Mary.

  5. Mike S Says:

It took him this long to get in shape

  6. Dacake Says:

Big fan of Playoff Lenny. One of my sons met him and he said Lenny was really nice.

  7. Marine Buc Says:

Mediocre at running but a solid receiver and pass blocker.

I’m sure the Bills will figure out how to properly utilize him…

  8. Lombardi Lenny Says:

My guy. Hope he crushes it up there in Buffalo.

As for the Bucs, we can we officially say they are not serious about winning this year? I assume we are waiting for the clock to strike midnight tomorrow before we are able to do so.

  9. HC Grover Says:

No need Playoff Lenny. We will not even be close to the playoffs.

  10. Boss Says:

    good for him.

He will kill it up there!

  11. BuxfaninTX Says:

Not washed and still better than what we have in Tampa. As.o can pass block

  12. Mike Johnson Says:

I hope Playoff Lenny runs wild in Buffalo. And if he does, its our loss. We
Probably could have signed him for little or nothing. Hell, What did we have to lose..except another game.

  13. Fansince76 Says:

I thought the Bucs should have re-signed em!
he is way better than any RB they currently have on the roster.

  14. Statguy Says:

Well he asked for a release so it’s not like he was really an option

  15. FairMinded Says:

Good luck Lenny Fournette! Clearly more talented than any of our RB’s in recent memory. Deserved another shot with the Bucs but so be it

  16. BucsFanSince1996 Says:

Playoff Lenny played an important role in our Super Bowl-winning season; I wish him the best!

  17. Cleanhouse Says:

Dominated when it counted then discarded this loser franchise is clueless

  18. David Says:

    Good luck to him!
Grateful for the years here bringing a Super Bowl!

  19. TheBucsAnthem Says:

I’m not understanding all the “haters” on Lenny…….he gave the Bucs all he had when even if he was a slow trodding downhill RB.

I think it’s a smart move for the Bills to sign Lenny, he provides valubale depth with experience, especially for blocking and check downs for Josh Allen……makes 100% sense to me.

    Good Luck Lenny!!!!!

  20. StormyInFl Says:

This team didn’t ‘ger rid of’, ‘cut loose’ or ‘choose not to resign’ Leonard Fournette.

    He asked for his release.

He. Didn’t. Want. To. Be. Here.

He was never going to sign here and he was never an option.

Some of you people are thick, not paying attention or purposely changing the story to blame Licht or the Glazers. Not remotely true in this case.

  21. Buckeyebuckchuck Says:

Practice squad. Keep that weight down if you want to make the Roster

  22. Old School Bucs Says:

Glad to see he found a team. Good running back. Bet he is glad to be out of Tampa. This clown show here is only good for one thing. Good laughs.
