I voted yes but that depends completely on how competitive the team really wants to be this year. With the coach coaching for his job, I would assume he wants as many wins as possible obviously. That made me lean towards resigning Dean.
Considering how awful Zion McCollum is we have to have a good corner. We drafted him, developed him and he’s earned his payday. The depth on this team is hard to look at. Time to stop giving Licht a free pass for his glaring inconsistency and mediocrity in drafting. Free agency is even worse.
They just dont have the cap space and 2024 you have to resign Wirfs and Winfield to big contracts and white if he is still wanted. Dean is our best man corner and our worst zone corner.
The world knows that the Bucs 2023 season is a scratch because they kept Bowles as a lame duck/place holder coach while they fix the cap and reconfigure the team structure…. So they need to be wise in who they resign talent wise compared to contract so they will have a chance to offer the new HC in 2024 a shot at a winning team!
They are going to have to learn you can’t resign everyone. Wirfs is a must Winfield probaby and White who nows. Whites real ability will show next year without David.
He’s better than Carlton Davis but we can’t pay top dollar for both CBs and then play them off 8-10yds all day. We paid the wrong guy bottom line. Now we’re going to end up with SMB who had a great run during our SB season but is too slow and always looks confused now. Even the season he broke his arm he was being destroyed in that opening game.
Whoever they get, Toad’s Bowels will have them so confused with his scheme complexity that they will be paralyzed, blow multiple assignments and contribute to the Suck that will be 2023. But, he’s a genius, though.
