Report: Tom Brady Wants To Play For A Winner

January 23rd, 2023

Conditions.

So it appears Team Glazer, Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht and Todd Bowles will have to make a compelling sales pitch to keep the greatest quarterback of all time.

That seems to be the gist of what NFL insider Adam Schefter of BSPN is getting at.

While Schefter admitted Brady has clammed up significantly after learning the hard way how easily word leaks of his plans, Brady has no desire to play for a team lacking the means to make a run in next year’s playoffs.

Schefter said on BSPN this is one key factor in Brady deciding whether to play next year, and for whom.

“His circle has tightened as to what he will do and won’t do,” Schefter said. “If he does play, there will be personal and professional considerations to take into account. Tom Brady is expected to want to play for a winning franchise.”

The Bucs have eight starters and part-time starters on defense that will likely test the free agent waters in less than two months. The key names are Lavonte David and Jamel Dean.

On offense, is left tackle Donovan Smith able to bounce back? Can the Bucs find a solution at left guard?

Surely Brady would have to know the answers to those questions, and more, if he will consider the Bucs.

  1. Aceofaerospace Says:

    Whatever it takes. Do it!

  2. Allbuccedup Says:

Well that should end the rumors about Brady coming back to Tampa.

  3. Knucknbuc Says:

Love Tom but it’s time to move on we need a qb and to plan for the future. They need to draft someone this year tom or not. I’d take him back but this team needs new blood and to be less about tom and more about the bucs as a team. Come in this century and get a qb that can move and make and extend plays

  4. Jeff Says:

The Yucs future is another lost decade. This is the way of the Yuc.

  5. DG060 Says:

We will be competing not for a SB the next unknown years but for the first pick in the drafts. All is back to normal for the Buccaneers we know and love.

  6. JerkingCircleofEpileptics Says:

If Tom wants to play for a winner, then he needs to re-aquire his focus. It all starts with him.

  7. YucsBall Says:

Tampa can provide that if they fire Bowles as well

  8. theghost Says:

    thanks for the ride, Tom!

  9. Bucsfan13 Says:

Brady doesn’t have anything to prove! Why is he ring chasing like a guy who needs rings. He has 7! This really reflects poorly of him, and I say this as a Brady fan. Brady knows better than anyone else how hard SBs are to win. He saw first hand last year and this year. Injuries happen that can totally derail a season. Brady left NE and wanted to prove he could win without Bill. He did that and more. He won a SB in his first year! He also put up great individual numbers and was an MVP candidate last year. If he jumps to another team, he’s just another NBA player jumping to team after team.

Brady’s chasing the prefect ending and it might never come. That’s why he should’ve retired after he won the SB. I don’t care that he was still playing at a high level after the SB. I still would’ve went out on top.

  10. SC Bucs Fan Says:

    we won 8 games

  11. Mike C Says:

And Bucfan 13 your ability to be content is the difference between you and Brady.

  12. Allbuccedup Says:

Any interviews for an offensive coordinator?

  13. Cobraboy Says:

Everybody wants to lay for a winner.

But Champions know THEY can make an average team into a winner.

    Lost respect for Brady.

  14. CoryC Says:

It ain’t happening. 43M over the cap and several key players are free agents. He should retire and enjoy life, focus on his children. The guy sucked this year. Leading last minute winning drives against bad teams isn’t the feather in one’s cap everyone thinks it is.

  15. Cobraboy Says:

Would the Glazers give in if Brady demanded “Fire Bowles, and hire my guys”?

  16. mark2001 Says:

Exactly what I’ve been saying. His playing career days are numbered. Why, in any world, would he want to come back to a sinking team with a less than stellar HC, in transition, when he could go to a team ready to make a run, retire and live off his “other than crypto” fortune, or make a ton of money in the booth? The idea of him coming back to Tampa is just a “powerful herb” pipe dream. I expect Bowles and Licht to be fired at the end of the year, and a multi-year rebuild.

  17. Sinking Ship Says:

He wants to play for a winner. We had a losing season and decimated our culture in one short year with these clowns. Count us out.

  18. mark2001 Says:

“The Yucs future is another lost decade. This is the way of the Yuc.”

Ahh. The Yuc force is powerful in this one, I sense it.

  19. gbobucsfan Says:

So out of the playoff teams this year, which team needs a QB?
Eagles, 9ers, Vikings, Boys, Giants, Seahawks (maybe), Chiefs, bills, bengals, jags, chargers, Ravens (maybe), Dolphins (biggest ? mark).

So just like last year, it’s looking like the Fins.

  20. mark2001 Says:

Follow the way of the Yuc, do you?

  21. Doc Says:

Please leave and take all that junk with you.

  22. Gofortheface30 Says:

Cobraboy- Bingo. Idk if I lost “respect” for him however, even Brady knows everything has to be jussssst right for his production to meet bar he has set for himself for 20yrs. Guys like Burrow, Mahomes etc could have personally lifted the team and made the plays THAT WERE THERE because they do not care about getting hit. Doesn’t matter if Brady can still throw it 65 yards if he is giving up on plays that could be bad. Some of those throwaways he had against Dallas was beyond pathetic. Some of these people in here don’t realize that two things can be true. Leftwich was a major major issue (along with the fact that we aren’t near as talented as we like to think we are) and Brady’s willingness to stand in the pocket that extra half second to make plays that are there. Brady can still play, as long as things are perfect around him – and we aren’t anywhere near that, and how in the f’ing f are we gnna get there being 44 mil over the cap. Leave emotion out of it

  23. Steven007 Says:

Most winning teams already have their quarterback. That’s the problem with this particular equation. Are the raiders winners? Demonstrably not. The niners don’t need a quarterback, they have three. Name another winning team that fits the scenario presented? Miami would seem to be the only destination that makes any type of sense and that’s assuming they bench Tua.

  24. Mike C Says:

Hey if yucs means winning a SB every so often I will take it, better than being a “winning franchise ” like Buffalo or Minnesota….

  25. NEfan Says:

C’mon Tom why wouldn’t you want to play for the 4 time LOSER Toilet Bowls?

  26. Doughboy Says:

Good luck Tom.Most winning teams have a QB! And even if a team was interested they would have to make their offensive line pass block better than before. Time to retire.

  27. Goatfarmer Says:

An offer including control over aspects of the organization might help the “winning” value proposition.

As in, fire Toad the Incontinent. In fact, let Brady do it. Unprecedented? Sure. Deserved? Absolutely.

A sloth could be a better head coach.

  28. NEfan Says:

Doc, don’t be picking in the white guy. MOST players want to play on a winning team, why do some play for less when Brady makes the call? Why should he be different? He played for the Bucs at a discount.

  29. Buc20 Says:

I’m a big Brady fan ever since he was at Michigan, but let’s be honest he doesn’t want to get hit anymore. It was evident all year that he wouldn’t let plays develop. He still has an amazing arm and a top 10 qb but might as well start the rebuild a year early.

  30. Davenport Says:

There is no reason to bring him back – this version of the team is a shell of its SB winner. They simply are not competitive and keeping Bowles fixes nothing.

Clear the decks of high priced veterans over 30, clear up the cap mess and look to a younger, hungrier team – with a new coach – in 2024

  31. ViSyl Says:

Fire bowles and hire Sean Payton.

  32. SB~LV Says:

He was referring to TOOD BOWLES !

  33. Dusthty Rhothdes Says:

He should go to the Dolphins that would be perfect; if Licht had a brain, he would do a sign and trade with Brady and then trade him to the phins for picks

  34. Cobraboy Says:

Miami has a young, efficient guy on track for an MVP season until health derailed him. The team stated in no uncertain terms he’s the guy.

If Brady goes to Miami do you think Tua would accept riding the bench? Do you think he’d re-up with a team that stabbed him in the back?

Do you think Tua wouldn’t cause a QB controversy? Is he the kind of guy who just takes a screwing, even if the GOAT is involved?

Brady going to Miami would damage the ‘Fins for years after his one/two-year stint.

And the same line that cost Tua his concussions will be in front of Brady.

Brady may want stuff he can’t have. 5 years ago it might have been different. But he’s not the same guy from even a year ago. We saw that clearly in Tampa all season.

I’m ready for a Cap Come-to-Jesus, trimming the old fat, and rebuilding from the ground up.

I appreciate three seasons with Brady and a Lombardi, but time to move on.

  35. Bobby M. Says:

I interpret that as if Brady is saying he wants to play for an organization and coach who play to win…..Bowles coaches to not lose, big difference in philosophy.

The Titans have a lot of what Brady needs at this stage of his career. Running play action with Henry will be exceptionally effective, bring in Gronk and Beckham….immediate contenders in a super weak division.

  36. Allen Lofton Says:

The Bucs were not the same when BA stepped down and Todd Bowls became Head coach – If that’s not an endorsement of why a Head coach is so important, look at what happened when Bowls couldn’t influence Leftwich to adapt – Todd Bowls didn’t show leadership by not firing Leftwich earlier.

Todd Bowl needs an Epiphany, otherwise we will be seeing much of the same!!!

  37. Tamera Z Says:

I have a better idea. How about JL make a pitch for Brady to go elsewhere. He’s old, not mobile, inaccurate and just plain sucks. NO MORE BRADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  38. Beej Says:

I am changing my mind yet again. If he does not retire, I believe he ends up at washington. They have one of the best defenses in the NFL and they have some offensive studs, but they do not have a quarterback, and they are in reasonable flight time to either of his kids locations

  39. Hodad Says:

Brady has to find a team that is SB ready because he himself can no longer be the difference maker.

  40. SufferingSince76 Says:

Just like last year, it’s all a bunch of talk until Brady makes up his mind. The misuse of the talent on this team is dereliction of duty. Even with the patchwork o-line, the Bucs should have won at least 3 more games this season. I don’t blame him for seeing the obvious.

  41. Jeff’s grandpa Says:

It’s time to move on we/he ain’t winning together next year

  42. Tampabaybucfan Says:

The only real differences in the team that went 22-5 behind Brady in 2020-21 and the 2022 team is Todd Bowles as HC and Tom Brady’s poor play.

Tired of this….if he doesn’t want to be here anymore….thanks, Tom for the SB….and best wishes with your new team.

  43. mg Says:

He can always wait for the qb injuries to pile up after a few weeks into the 23 season. And then cash in.

  44. Vsyl Says:

He just fits so perfectly with the 49ers

  45. Chris Stewart Says:

Report: Tom Brady also like avocado tequila!!! Kind of obvious that he wants to play for a winner wouldn’t you say ???

  46. Tbbucs3 Says:

“He just fits so perfectly with the 49ers”

The 40-44 year old Brady did….certainly not the 46 year old version.

Stop living in the past…..Every good QB in NFL history has fallen off a cliff at some point and it’s happened to Brady

  47. Joe Says:

Report: Tom Brady also like avocado tequila!!! Kind of obvious that he wants to play for a winner wouldn’t you say ???

Some guys would rather be paid. Since this may be Brady’s final contract, perhaps he wants to get one last big payday? He took a complete bath in the crypto scam.

  48. Marine Buc Says:

There won’t be as many opportunities for Tom Brady as most people think…

Maybe Miami or Las Vegas – Miami makes the most sense but they are claiming they want to stick with Tua as their QB. If they bring in Brady they will have to change their offense somewhat for him.

I just don’t see it happening. Plus – TB12 isn’t a top 5 QB anymore. Maybe a top 12. Teams won’t be as interested in him as they were in 2019.

  49. NEfan Says:

Purdy showed his true colors last night. It took the D and Dak Prescott to bale him out. Here’s an idea take Dak, Brady goes to Dallas.

Everybody blames the oline and in part it’s true you have to run the ball. Anybody watching these games especially KC, Cincy & SF, the receivers know how to separate. This is uncharted territory for Brady. He hasn’t always had the best run game but they had a run game and all his go to guys in the past could separate. Not sure if it’s due to scheme or players past coaching but AB & Gronk knew how to separate. Brady will be determined to change the perception of him from playing on a Turd Bowls team, watch and see once he clears out his locker.

The haters and doubters that have NO idea how a QB in the NFL can survive without a running game will, if Brady plays eat their hats and wish he was a Buc. So go Buc yourself, Brady is off to greener pastures.

  50. Wut The Buc Says:

Thats a nice way of saying no way in hell is he coming back to a team coached by Todd “send out the punt unit” Bowles.

  51. Marine Buc Says:

    @ Joe

Brady can get paid @ $35M per season working with Fox Sports. I don’t believe he needs to play another season “just for the payday”…

  52. Craig Says:

First thing you look for is a HC with a winning record. That is somewhere else. Even if Tom was in his prime, it would take a whole career to get Bowles cleaner’s record over 500.

  53. George Says:

We have a lousy offensive line

We have a lousy Head Coach

Why would Brady come back if these issues aren’t fixed?

  54. TB2020 Says:

well forget the Raiders then. Plus it’s 3 timezones from his kids.

San Fran doesn’t need to upend what they already have – a totally loaded squad with a QB half Tom’s age. Plus, timezones.

So that leaves….Miami? Really? They give up on Tua, and they just tell the NFL to bleep off, we’ll tamper and still get away with it a year later? OK

Tennessee….ok, the Vrabel connection. And they have Henry and then…..a lot of average. Good luck breaking through in the AFC with that squad.

I totally get not returning to Tampa. Bad head coach, bad cap situation. Tom should retire.

  55. Jon Grudin Says:

Brady signing with the Jets makes the most sense.
Get Jason Lite to do a “sign and trade” and sign and trade Brady, Jensen and Godwin to the Jets for picks (three #2 picks, next 3 years)

Helps the Bucs cap situation and gives Brady and the Jets a chance at the playoffs. Gage and Evans at WR, Otten the otter at TE, Lenny at RB as Bucs retool with Gabbert at QB.

  56. Bucfan1988 Says:

No Brainer that TB12 goes to Miami.

Tia is a concussion magnet now.
Think Dolphins let him ride the pine for a year to back up Brady & heal.

Mike McDaniel is an awesome coach!

They got weapons galore & speed on offense.
Gronk will come back as well next year to play there too.

Makes too much sense here 🤷🏻‍♂️!!

  57. Elita Vita Says:

Brady has all the power. He has the luxury to choose the team he wants to play with on a yearly basis. The vast majority of QBs obviously do not have this luxury. IMHO, Brady wished to play for the Dolphins this past year. Arians would not let him go. Also, that Flores mess got in the way. A pouting Brady returned, but his attitude was different. This attitude was noted by the rest of his team mates. This plus injuries, in addition to questionable coaching led to the change in Bucs play. Never encourage a player to play where in his heart he doesn’t want to play. Even Tom Brady. Mostly doesn’t end well.

  58. Oddball Says:

    Bye

  59. Tbbucs3 Says:

“Brady is off to greener pasture“

At FOX……all this speculation of Brady going to SF, Miami, Dallas is complete nonsense and aside from what message board commenters say, none of those teams will have any interest whatsoever.

  60. NEfan Says:

Ttsucs, stick to Donkey Kong, Jerry Jones will grab Payton and Brady and go straight to the bank with them. Funny how Dak was superman against Bowels D, then he sees a real coached D he turtles. I can definitely see Brady and Gronk going to Dallas and Miami. If Purdy fails in the SB or Championship game he’s just another Garapolo that can’t close. Brady is a closer.

Has Bowels ever coached a successful QB?

  61. NEfan Says:

Elita, which player(s) claimed Brady’s attitude changed this season? I must have missed that post. Either that of you’re making shat up. Is this Ttsucs???

  62. TorontoBucsFan Says:

    Mark2001 said:

Exactly what I’ve been saying. His playing career days are numbered. Why, in any world, would he want to come back to a sinking team with a less than stellar HC, in transition, when he could go to a team ready to make a run, retire and live off his “other than crypto” fortune, or make a ton of money in the booth?
    **************************************************************

Finally someone with some common sense!

Somebody above said something like “a real champion would stick with a bad team to make them a winner”. I don’t think any 45 year-old (with lots of money in the bank) would feel like he has time “nurture” a problem team. Particularly a team with a coach who plays to “not lose” rather win.

I’m still bitter about the game I went to in Cleveland this year and Bowles decided not to call a time out with ~40 seconds left in a tie game.

  63. sasquatch Says:

    Newsflash: Brady wants to win.

My reaction to the headline: DUH!

  64. HomerSimpsonRocks Says:

    File this under Super Obvious.

  65. Tye Says:

‘Report: Tom Brady Wants To Play For A Winner’

That should settle ALL arguments and debates about it right there…
Todd Bowles IS NOT A WINNER!… Not even close…

  66. Elita Vita Says:

    @ NE fan

1st of all I did say IMHO
2nd which players would publicly call Brady out.
    Doesn’t mean they didn’t feel that way….IMHO.

  67. Capece is Kaput Says:

Most of the teams that are good that need some help at QB are in the AFC: Miami, Baltimore (if Lamar leaves), Tennessee, Pittsburgh.
I think one of these 4 teams has a good shot to get him if they want him.
Problem is the AFC is stacked (Allen, Burrow, Mahomes). The road to a Super Bowl is easier in the NFC but what team? New Orleans – not without Sean Peyton?? Minnesota, if they can unload Cousins but is Brady really the guy that can fire bullets to Jefferson?? San Fran if Brock Purdy has a melt down bad enough to not stay the starter next year??
If I were Brady I would seriously consider ending my career in Pittsburgh. Kenny Pickett, take the year off and learn. Pitt has a 3 down running back, 2 good young receivers, a good tight end, some of the best coaching and a good defense. Realistically, Pitt is the only team that plays, how do I say this, conservatively or boring enough that a 46 year old QB like Brady can come in and make a really big difference just by staying upright, playing smart and moving the football. I don’t know if Brady would still get to the Super Bowl in that situation, but I would bet that Nagee Harris would probably break the NFL receptions record with 150 catches in a season.

  68. AlwaysBucs Says:

Won’t find a Title Contender desperate for his services.

His only REAL options will be TB, Miami (Maybe) and Vegas.

49ers are in the NFC Title game with a 7th rounder, so many other teams have a young option they are developing and would be stunting their team’s growth by bringing in Brady for 1 year.

  69. Jerry Says:

He was probably praying like crazy yesterday that Brock Purdy turns into a pumpkin. Because if Purdy takes that team to the Super Bowl there is no way they are benching him for a 46 year old.

There is no NFC team that is Super Bowl ready and just missing a QB. Raiders, Miami, Tennessee? OK. Have fun in that loaded conference.

  70. AlwaysBucs Says:

What team is going to look at Brady’s film and be like “Man we gotta get this guy?”

Brady in Vegas, is a 6 or 7 win team. Besides why go to the AFC when you have to compete with Mahomes, Herbert, Wilson, Burrow, Allen, Lawrence, Lamar (Maybe) and Watson?

Brady in Miami is still a wildcard team, and their defensive coordinator was fired, and their o line is a mess. Brady’s unwillingness to take a hit or let plays develop and routes develop cost this team 2 or 3 wins.

  71. Bucamania Says:

Of course he wants to win. If you were TB12, would you come back to this team? Next year is gonna be baaaad.

  72. Nick2 Says:

Translation is that Todd Bowles is not a winner.

  73. Dom Says:

Major fan of Brady even before he came here but unfortunately I think his time with this team has run its course. It was an amazing 3 years I’ll never forget but I think it’s best for both sides to move on. For Brady to go to a better team and compete for a SB and for the Bucs to get their cap straighten out and tank for Caleb Williams or Drake Maye

  74. AbucAway Says:

The NFL owners need to get together and under oath of secret handshake and moose call, all vow to not hire Brady. This would be the intervention needed to keep the GOAT off the field. Haha

  75. Tuddie Time Says:

Brady is not going to the 49ers. Shanahan’s offense requires QBs to roll out. Do you think Tom is going to roll out for 17 games plus playoffs at 46? Please stop the Sean Payton nonsense. Saints are not trading him to us. Nor are the Bucs willing to give up the draft collateral needed to get him.

We need to be all in this coming year. Let’s chase Orlando Brown as an upgrade to D Smith. Others that won’t be franchised.

TB12 will have an off-season without distractions, which will allow him to prepare like he did in 2020 and 2021. Perhaps we can find a way to assure Gronk of a part time role while getting a near full time salary. Gronk doesn’t want the abuse a full season would deliver.

  76. Ugotrobbed Says:

    No matter who’s here:
O-line, Edge, LB in no particular order

  77. Joe M Says:

Listen, joebucks fans the question how together Tom Brady back to Tampa doesn’t start with a new player
roster….guys it starts with getting rid of one the worst head coaches in the league. Todd “NO BALLS” Boles…. Tom is not that stupid. He loves bouncing ideas and having a sensible conversation with a proven winning head coach like a Belichek or a Peyton. Boles is not and never will be in that class.

  78. Pewter Power Says:

How many teams want a one year rental on a 46 year old quarterback, those winners have a good enough quarterback. No doubt he made us a winner, defense was good enough, I think a good OC could scheme open the weapons we have. Leftwich sabotaged the season and Brady possible return. He’s gone now so stick around one more year

  79. Rob Hamada Says:

Ask Donavan Smith to take a pay cut and restructure his contract for two more years at $7-8 million per and move him inside to LG. Draft a LT in the 2nd round after trading back the 19th pick for additional pics in this draft. Draft a DT, WR, and LB with the additional 2nd round and 3rd round picks.

  80. Ugotrobbed Says:

As one who suffered through a divorce, I know how devastating that can be. It effects every area of your life (especially concentration). So I’m cutting him some slack for this past season. He’s still the GOAT, so if he decides to come back, I would welcome him with open arms!
The HC will be the real problem!

  81. NEfan Says:

Elite, ever been locker room other than to sniff the jock straps? These guys are like brothers very few trash a teammate. They get ridiculed enough by the media, they tend to their own business.

  82. Eric Says:

what winning team is going to replace their starting QB with Brady?

    San Fran no
    Miami doubtful

The only possible team is the Raiders but they aren’t winners.

Not sure the list of suiters is very long.

  83. D-Rok Says:

OK, I’ll chime in on We B Speculatin’:

Brady is going to that new start-up team in Cuba. It’s a short swim from Miami, so he’ll do swimmingly well as the new QB, OC, HC, GM and owner for the Cuban Churros.

    Book it, Dan-O.

  84. Tucker Says:

I think if he doesnt come back to the bucs he retires dont really see a team that would want a good quarterback for one year and then have questions at quarterback afterwards it would only give them a worst draft pick. Brady is good but like some have said he needs good to great around him to be successful again most teams that are competing for a sb have their answer at qb already. Bucs could clear most their cap issues in 2023 kinda makes since to do that rather than kick the can and have multiple years to worry about the cap again they would have to kick alot of cans to roster a competitive team because they need alot of answers at multiple positions.

  85. Chris Says:

Will he be making a movie while playing for another team? Kind of weird seeing him in a pats uniform while playing for the bucs.

  86. Bill in Seminole Says:

Watching the playoffs, the difference between TB and the other playoff QBs is the ability to move around, rather than staying in the pocket. TB needs a team with a first class Oline so he can dropback and throw, and not have to release the ball withing 1.5 – 2.5 seconds. His throwing ability is on par if not better than other playoff QBs.

  87. Coquiro Says:

Really??? You want to.play for a winner??
Uh, you are supposed to help make the team a WINNER…you didn’t this year, you got outplayed in many games by rookies and back ups. You got rid off the ball too quickly all year to avoid getting hit, receivers can’t get open fast enough…and you played scared. Let’s see what “Winner” team takes a chance w you. Man up Brady

  88. Kentucky Buc Says:

You guys are such morons. Brady didn’t say this. This is another Jack azz reporter speculating. Do u really think he’s talking to any of these people. Sheesh, read the dam article.

  89. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Speculation.

    So, my thought are:

    – Don’t wait for Brady to decide. He wants to take his time, but we can’t wait on a maybe.

    – When and IF Car is released, make a play for him. Tampa had always done better with Veteran Quarterbacks. Or does anyone truly believe Bowles can develop one? Carr will be 32. Perfect age. Or someone as good or better around the same age.

    – It better not be Bridgewater

    – Gather trade capital.

    – Fix the offensive line. The simple fact is this: Offense is more imoortant than Defense these days. I love watch a great defense, but today’s NFL is all about offense, and it starts in the trenches. If we get a good veteran QB, a great oline is what he’ll need.

    – Start searching for a new kicker. Succop was gold for the short to medium kicks, but he outright sucked on 50+. Yes, I know most kick atrempts are inside the 50…but still. We need competition.

  90. Destinjohnny Says:

Wait don’t we have a great GM?

  91. Ed McSherry Says:

Have to laugh at the “Brady bashers” who always come out of the woodwork after a loss with: “Brady’s afraid of getting hit.” And I’m mostly talking about those who are professional commentators for the networks (like the Sims’)

    Sound familiar?

How “afraid” of being hit can he be if he is being hit?

Being afraid of being hit are the quarterbacks who run around the backfield because they can’t hardly ever execute a play properly from the pocket.

    Sound familiar?

Brady stands-his-ground and whatever happens happens; if the 3rd string O-line can’t hold a pocket, he gets hit (17 times against Dallas last week), never whines and sends a note to the sidelines reporter that all of a sudden his thumb is acting up again and will be the reason for losing the game, if he loses the game.

    Sound familiar?

Brady has more character than most of all the other quarterbacks put together.

The Munich game Is Brady, not the Dallas game. Brady is as good now as he ever was.
