99 votes and no comments? Wow.

    I voted we win.

Off topic, who would make a better backup QB next year? Gabbert or Daniel Jones?

Keep in mind Daniel Jones is currently 25, was sack 44 time this year because of poor Oline, could come cheap, and is used to the demanding New York media/fans.

  2. Buczilla Says:

No for me. The panthers already embarrassed us once and I see no reason why they can’t do it again. The panthers are the inferior team, but their coach has them playing above their capabilities, unlike our coaches who have amazingly managed to deliver the worst coaching job in the history of our team up until this point. That’s really hard to freaking do!

Bonzai, I’d be more than good with bringing in Jones to compete next year if he came cheap.

  3. DoooshLaRue Says:

    Sadly, I voted no.
We should win easily……but this team doesn’t do easy very well.
    I hope I’m wrong.

  4. RagingBrisket Says:

It won’t matter. They can’t compete against anyone right now

  5. Defense Rules Says:

We got this. Carolina wins by rushing on well over half their plays, winning the TOP battle decisively & winning the TO differential. Defensively we got burnt with explosive plays last time, largely because we were missing 3 key players (Hicks, Davis & Ryan). Sounds like Davis will be out for this one also, but we should have Hicks & Ryan in there. That’ll make a difference.

Offensively every team that’s beaten Carolina has run on more than 50% of their plays, controlled the TOP & won the turnover battle. IOW, they beat the Panthers at their own game, forced them to go to the pass (10 of the Panthers’ 16 turnovers have been INTs, even though they’ve only passed 405 times). If the Bucs can’t get our running game going enough to keep Carolina honest, we’ll probably lose. But I think we can get it going today & pull out the win.

  6. Onetrickpony Says:

Win? I just don’t know anymore

  7. Mike Says:

No chance they win it will be worse than last time they played. Todd Bowles has got to go

  8. Jeff Says:

Carolina 30 Yucs 13. Carolina runs for over 200 yards.

  9. Bucfan Says:

Let BA call the plays the 2nd half & they have a shot at winning.

  10. Henry Says:

Going out on a limb here as my gut says Bucs win 38 17.

  11. 500Cells Says:

The results of this poll has me considering the mental health of Bucs fans. What on earth have you all seen that leads you to believe the Bucs will win this thing today. Say goodbye to the GOAT. I predict THIS will be the last time he suits up in a football uniform period.

After today, take the gloves off Glazers and do the right thing AND CLEAN HOUSE!!!

Bowlz will have literally done everything possible to find himself unemployed in two weeks.

  12. Dreambig Says:

Skeptical for sure. Watched the Todd Bowles show last night and he has the same energy level as our running game.

  13. Jerry Says:

A loss means it could be Brady’s last home game as a Buc.

  14. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

I missed the poll, but I would have voted No.
They beat us badly before, and they are playing even better now.
They just beat Detroit, who had won 7 straight.
What makes anyone think we will win today ?

  15. NEfan Says:

There is something said for the saying a team takes on their coaches personally. If this season hasn’t showed that, I don’t know what does. DR, the only chance Bucs gave to achieve in their abysmal running game is motion and play action. They have to move the D from their spots. Doubtful we see it, one could only hope. Bowels tends to confirm the meaning of insanity.

  16. Rayjay1122 Says:

If the BUCS coaches could tap into competence the way BUCS fans tap into optimism, perhaps there would be hope. Unfortunately this is not the case.

  17. D-Rok Says:

The Bucs are playing for their season today. Let’s see if THAT makes a difference in their play and play-calling – nothing else has made a difference all year long.

We can only hope they play much better as one can only vote based on their recent performances. I am down to “hoping” they play well, and holding out one frantic bastion of hope they can get their act together. Yes, it’s all hope at this juncture.

Still, GO BUCS!!! Shock the world and play well!!!!

  18. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

D-Rok, I voted we win, but honestly my main concern is that they will focus so much on stopping the run, that the Panthers will beat them in the passing game. Plus, we have Davis out.

  19. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

You know, I was thinking…Dereck Carr could be good for us. I know, on the surface, you would think not, but consider this:

His past 4 years have been better than the 4 years Brees spent in San Diego before going to the Saints.

The Raiders never gave him the protection he needed.

His players love him as a leader.

He is only going to be traded or released because of money.

The raiders would rather he go to an NFC team.

I don’t know what the money situation would be. I think his injury guarantees are tossed 3 days after the superbowl. He could be a situation where coming here could be comparable to when Brees went to the Saints.

  20. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I’m only talking QBs because I believe Brady will retired for good this year. He said he wants to take his time to decide, but the Bucs cannot wait on the decision of a QB not under contract.

  21. AmauryGuzman Says:

A lot of people with little faith here. I am usually not confident with this team but i will be shocked if we don’t win this game today.

  22. D-Rok Says:

    Guzman,

Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. The Bucs can and should win, but only if they play much better! It’s up to them.

    GO BUCS!!!

  23. Henry Says:

Henry Says: Going out on a limb here as my gut says Bucs win 38 17.

Pffft this is why I don’t climb trees.

  24. ScottyMack Says:

Sorry, but it is pretty stupid to have “Not Sure” as one of the answer choices. Other than a handful of know-it-alls here (who seldom do), who is 100% sure one way or the other about this or ANY NFL game? (Vegas makes tons off of those people.)

Then again, I’m not sure why at least 90% of people didn’t choose “Not Sure” if they were being honest.

Unless … they, too, thought it was the dumbest thing you could put on a survey like this.
