Lavonte David And Devin White Finish In A Tie

January 8th, 2023

When the Bucs are in a meaningless games, Joe looks a lot deeper for happenings of interest.

Entering today’s game, Lavonte David and Buccaneers savior linebacker Devin White were very close when it came to “combined tackles” this season. White was at 122 and David was at 121. They finished the season tied at 124 with both playing limited snaps in today’s loss to the Falcons.

Statistically, it was rebound season for David. For White, he never looked like a consistent Pro Bowl player, which is perhaps why he wasn’t named to the Pro Bowl.

Regardless, both finished the long season healthy, which is fantastic news. David was hurt for the playoffs last season and was a shell of himself there. This time around, the Bucs get a full-throttle David in a contract year.

Joe expects the dynamic linebacker duo to show up big-time in the playoffs behind Vita Vea and Akiem Hicks, who notched his first sack of the season today.

You know you suck as a HC when your have the GOAT and still.post a losing record. When is ownership going to be tired of this losing mindset?

Bucs really did not miss either JPP or Suh this year. Both those guys signed as fresh and experienced players in the middle of the season and only their 1st games with their new teams were any good. After that, they were just guys.

Wonder if Trask wil be able to practice with the first ream O and D this week?

  8. Goatfarmer Says:

Why should Trashk practice with anyone but USFL rejects? That’s how he’ll finish his career. Hard worker. Yes. Studies hard. Yes. Can’t make a progression, processes real time action like he lost most of his cerebral cortex in an accident.

I laugh at the Trashk fanboyz.

  9. HC Grover Says:

Bowzo did manage to get our Center hurt.

  10. Goatfarmer Says:

Sign LVD. Bye bye to horsey boy.

    Orlbucfan….
😂 why??? I was on board for the Trask pick, but after two years of watching him make a horrible throw or decision 30% of the time and panicking in a pocket that’s perfectly clean… He’s not going to be practicing with anybody’s first team. The fact that he has not moved up to be the main back up at this point tells you all you need to know. He is a wasted pick.

Without those two Bucs are 4-13
