Tom Brady’s Kryptonite

December 4th, 2022

Owns Tom Brady.

Slimy Saints coach Dennis Allen is a typical meathead defensive coach.

Allen is a damn good defensive coach, but he still thinks football is played in the 1950s and thinks winning the turnover battle is winning the game.

No Dennis, it’s 2022. Scoring more points wins games.

(Even when these defensive guys have evidence staring them right in the face. They just don’t learn. It’s in their DNA, man.)

As long as Allen doesn’t overstep his defensive turf into the offensive real estate, the man knows what he is doing, especially Tom Brady is behind center. BSPN points out that no team has Brady wrapped around their finger like the slimy Saints and Allen. Even the rare time Brady and the Bucs beat the slimy Saints, Brady’s numbers are awful.

Tom Brady is 1-4 against the Saints in the regular season since joining the Buccaneers in 2020, with the lone win coming this season. In four of those five games, Brady has posted his lowest total QBR against any single opponent since signing with Tampa Bay, and that includes the win this season which was a season low.

The way the Bucs and Saints offenses are as punchless as a nerd in a cheerleaders locker room, Joe would not be surprised if neither team hits double digits tomorrow night. It’s that sad.

Whoever breaks 14 may just win.

I don’t have a good feeling about this game. I am still recovering from the Carolina game earlier this season. With Wirfs being out, it is not hyperbole to believe the Bucs get shut out tomorrow.

  2. HC Grover Says:

    6-3 Stanks.

  3. SB~LV Says:

    Sign him !!!!
Rarely is a successful coach of his age not in the active coaching ranks!

  4. BucU Says:

You shouldn’t have a good feeling about ANY game this under performing, awfully coached team plays.
We sucked with the best right tackle in the NFL all year. Now we’re supposed to be optimistic with his replacement being a practice squad player at best?
Good luck to all u optimists out there.
If we had actual NFL quality coaches then that might be different. But we are what we are. A lousy franchise.

Would Brady come back if Jim Harbaugh was hired?

Joe this bad season is on Gisele. Everything was great they went on European vacation. Gisele had a birthday party in Italy. They were seen on a huge yacht together. When vacation ended something happened and it was right at the end of july the divorce started. Brady looking happy healthy all summer and all of a sudden by middle of August he looked like he lost 30 pounds especially in his face. I thought Brady would overcome the divorce bet he is not. Tabloids are always there to say Gisele is dating the Karate Kid or Brady lost all his money. I am just amazed he kept it together this long.

I blame Gisele Byron and Bowles in that order. They are like super heroes sent to destroy the Brady agenda

Saints in a blowout. The Yucs are finished. Saints 30 Bucs 3.

  8. NEfan Says:

Maybe so but Brady I’d 4&1 as a Patriot so one might think the Saints are the Bucs coaches kryptonite!

  9. Craig Says:

Brady has always struggled against a two high safety scheme. It is not just the Saints and is the reason we need a real run game.

The Saints are really bad this year. Dalton is still only capable of moving the ball between the 30 yard lines and Kamara is leaving the ball on the ground.

This will be a coaching battle, the worst coach loses. Dennis Allen might even be worse than Bowles, so the Bucs have a chance, if they come out ready to play, but the Bucs never seem to show up in prime time, so it is a toss up.

  10. HC Grover Says:

Brady will be running for his life. He will only have time for dunk passing.

  11. firethecannons Says:

Saloon door right tackle is a serious problem for Brady. I think Brady gets hurt this game, we lose and get no more wins for rest of the year. It is over at years end when Bowles, Leftwich and the entire coaching team are released.

The above or we run it over and over with an incredible amount of 3 and outs. The game becomes personal to the defense once Brady is hurt and we lose but it is very low scoring game with many injuries.

The offense sputters, Brady throws multiple interceptions, he finally gets hurt and the game is soon over. Whether we win or not is inconsequential. We lose every game after this. Many players are banged up on defense after this. Lattimore and Evans get ejected early.

Likely we revert to form facing a timing based QB and give up 25/27 265 2 tds

That will be far too much for us to overcome on offense

    Saints 23-10.

Likely 5-10 heading to our final two games

  13. DungyDance Says:

    5-2, Saints.

  14. Buc1987 Says:

    firethecannons…lol yer funny.

  15. Mike Johnson Says:

Saints really do have Brady’s number. Their D line always plays well against us. ALWAYS.I want us to win But I am not the least bit optimistic here. Surprise us Bucs, Score 28 points……

  16. SufferingSince76 Says:

The Bucs should win this game, but I have no confidence that they will. If it’s the same old from Leftwich, look for Succop to be the high Bucs scorer for this game.

  17. Defense Rules Says:

Craig … ‘Brady has always struggled against a two high safety scheme. It is not just the Saints and is the reason we need a real run game.’

So very true, but from what I’ve read it wasn’t until last year that other teams figured that out too. I keep wondering if we’re so predictable in our run game that opponents don’t need to bring a safety up in run support.

The lack of a REAL run game has really impacted us IMO, negatively, most obviously in scoring. It’s sad that we’ve only scored 4 TDs rushing all year.

Bucs’ scoring by quarters has been just as bizarre this season IMO. Overall we’ve scored 19 TOs & 23 FGs, meaning to me that we can’t finish drives. It’s even stranger by quarter though, since our kryptonite seems to be the 1st & 3rd quarters.

    o 1st qtr: 2 TDs & 7 FGs … 9 total scores
    o 2nd qtr: 5 TDs & 8 FGs … 13 total scores
    o 3rd qtr: 4 TDs & 3 FGs … 7 total scores
    o 4th qtr: 8 TDs & 5 FGs … 13 total scores

Looks to me like we’re especially terrible this year at starting the game AND coming back out for the 2nd half. Preparation and adjustments?

  18. Goatfarmer Says:

    Brian Flores or Eric Bienemy.

  19. Reggie Jax Says:

Bowles single handedly lost that last game. If he continues to play not to lose then their season is doomed.

  20. JimmyfromNY Says:

Craig? Dude, you’re just making stuff up. He tears apart 2 high safety because he takes the underneath stuff and picks teams apart. He’s had huge games against the Saints since his time in New England outside 2009 and a few of the games with the bucs He still got it done when it mattered most, and had four touchdowns in the game away last year unfortunately the defense got about 15 penalties to cost them the game.

  21. captivajim Says:

i doubt the Bucs score a TD. Allen is in Brady’s head…….

  22. Oneilbuc Says:

Tom Brady being 45 is his kryptonite!!
