Disturbing Offensive Stat

December 2nd, 2022

Would you believe… ?

Joe wishes he could send fans to a Big Storm Brewing taproom in a better way to start their weekend, but duty calls.

In this case, “doodie” might be a better word.

Joe is shocked how many Bucs fans want to pin blame for the rotten Tampa Bay offense on the greatest, Tom Brady. If Brady is so awful and washed, how is it through 13 games he has but two picks (it seems even Bucs coach Todd Bowles is surprised by this stat) and at 45 leads the NFC in passing with 3,051 yards?

Brady’s counterpart this Monday night, Andy Dalton of the slimy Saints, is pretty much a joke at this point in his career, right?

But it seems slimy Saints defensive meathead head coach Dennis Allen has a better idea of how to use Dalton than failing Bucs offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich knows how to use a once-in-a-lifetime quarterback.

Check this stat out (and grab a puke bucket): Dalton, in nine starts this season, has thrown 14 touchdowns. In Brady’s 11 starts this season, he has thrown — wait for it — 14 touchdowns.

To add more bile to your vomit, rotten runaround quarterback Marcus Mariota of the Dixie Chicks, who any reasonable fan will agree is a joke, also has 14 touchdowns.

And to think Leftwich is still employed. Talk about stealing money.

Very painful listening to Leftwich speak. It automatically brings his intellect into question. Wrong that may be, but can’t deny the truth. That, along with His performance this year has killed any chance of a head coaching job.

  2. AbucAway Says:

So is Mariotta’s and Dalton’s lack of touchdowns because they arent playing well or is it on the coaching staff? Maybe lack of receivers? I don’t know, Joe. Comparing apples to apples, it seems like Tom has a better support cast and therefore should have more tuddies than these two.

  3. NEfan Says:

I still believe Brady is probably no clearly understanding what Leftnut is trying to squeeze out of his pie hole. It could be BL is calling in, “Send Evan’s in motion, play action deep slant to Godwin!” instead Brady hears, “Tahom, wearin lotion, kay yaman do he slant yo good
man.” Brady says Lenny, can’t understand a word he’s saying, dive left.

  4. Darin Says:

He’s not stealing my money anymore.

  5. SufferingSince76 Says:

Bowles is the reason. It’s his team and he can tell Leftwich to forget about the lame run calls and put the ball in the air. Unfortunately, he’s either too thick or too stubborn to listen to his critics and adjust.

  6. D Says:

I’m now convinced that from all of Tom Brady’s interactions with the Wich, his IQ has dropped significantly, diminishing his former elite ability. Sad times for Bucs fans and TB.

    Burn the Wich!

  7. BucsfanFred Says:

I guess I should watch the coaches news conferences. I only read them. I’ve never heard boron speak. I don’t imagine he”ll ever be a head coach if he only speaks ebonics.
Bowlezo sounds normal, but he never says anything worth hearing.

  8. macajubav Says:

holy anti BL campaign JBF is launching !

  9. Chris l Says:

I almost wonder if Mariota and Dalton weren’t in the nfc south if we would still be talking about them. It feels as if we rip them (rightfully) but not jameis winston! Dennis Allen sucks but honestly he clearly knows more about football than we do as did Bruce Arians and realizes jameis is not a winner and can lead a teAm. I am starting to feel that way about bowles unfortunately. Prove me wrong Todd

  10. Rod Munch Says:

Is Leftwich’s family posting now? Who in the hell is actually for this idiot and think he’s doing anything other than destroying this team?

  11. Jonny Says:

This same Brady under Kyle Shanahan with the same exact offensive line and same weaponry would be a top 10, top 5 QB in every statistical category. With Ryan Jensen, Marpet and AB, we would be a lock to make it to the SB. Leftwich has a stale scheme with no creativity or adaptability on the fly. I don’t know football well enough to be confident in my statement, but people who are have said that. Brady is having to throw dimes on many plays because of lack of separation from our receivers, part of which falls on the OC and his scheme. Our run game is putrid.

  12. D-Rome Says:

If Dalton is a joke what does that make the Saints’ 3rd string QB?

  13. NEfan Says:

    maca, Leftnut is caca

  14. Your Mom Says:

Of course Brady is high in passing yards because he’s also 31st in yards per completion, and 1st in attempts.

So they just putter slowly up to the red zone, and then when the field is smaller and the defense tightens up, they don’t score. Not a way to win!

Leftwich is incompetent and Bowles is not a good head coach. But Brady is not lethal like he used to be, and it looks often like he’s afraid and bailing out to the short pass rather than risk being hit.

  15. NEfan Says:

Your mom, I’ll write it again, 8 in the box on 1st down, rush 4 and drop 7 on 2nd & third, underneath is only option unless a DB blows his coverage. Easiest O to defense in the league.

  16. Lokog Says:

The city of new orleans, their fans, players and the whole organization are all a joke grimey ass place

  17. Chop block Says:

I think Brady is still an ice cold killer, Godwin is playing with the same mindset & is 90% .
healthy. Evans though has been almost non existent. He’s scared to go over the middle
Plus Brady’s gonna play next year so why is he gonna step up in the pocket just to get hammered for a incomplete pass that Evans stopped running & looked for the P.I. flag instead? This team needs to play every game like the last & if we get things rolling, some
certain people get healthy, come back capable of causing Damage just in time for the playoffs 🤔.

  18. ClwJB Says:

Grand larceny in the first degree!!!!!

Another disgusting stat to swallow for this inept OC

Dude was a better QB than OC and we know how bad he sucked as a player

Can someone carry him down the field and call plays on his behalf at the same time? Maybe remembering Marshall will help….

  19. ClwJB Says:

Brady should just ignore him and call his own plays

What are they gonna do about it?

I would love nothing more than to see ham sandwich on the bench folding towels while the O gets back to life

BA could ride a electric scooter on the sideline just in case TB needs a second opinion

Bowles should go sit next to his boy while the O is at work and TB should control the TO’s, 4th down calls etc

Why are we even having this ridiculous discussion of a hack nfl QB telling the GOAT what to do

This is so insane to me

    I want to puke

  20. Aaron Says:

Not watchable – completely frustrating watching this team under achieve…at least this they can’t ruin my Sunday this week.

  21. Vlad The Impaler Says:

Vlad will be watching Ancient Aliens on Monday night.
Why torture yourself? Am I right?

The Blowe-Witch-Project may be the greatest mistake yet by the Glazers, and they’ve made some doozzies, always trying to pass of a lame ASSisstant coach as a HC:
    Raheem
    Schiano
    Lovie
    Koetter

Vlad is pretty sure Brady is aware of this too and can’t wait to get the hell out of Dodge whenever this misbegotten season ends

  22. JeffreyLane77 Says:

I don’t think Andy Dalton is a joke. If he gets hot he can carve up a Todd Bowles defense. .

  23. Rand Says:

Even though play calling by Leftwich has been critical it’s not him throwing errant passes in the red zone. Brady just has been off on many occasions. He’s keeping his stats up between the 20’s but his red zone completions % is way down. Could it be no separation or Brady not either seeing or using all his options. Brady is the G.O.A.T., no doubt …but he’s still not immune from being part of the problem.

I have much RESPECT for Brady, and appreciate his career

  24. Defense Rules Says:

Went back & relooked at the Cleveland game again to satisfy my curiosity about something. When you break down each drive, it appears obvious to me that the Bucs’ offense lost focus at about the halfway point in the game primarily because of poor play-calling, inconsistent OLine blocking & average-at-best passing.

Bucs had 13 drives on the day. The first 6 drives (to halfway through the 3rd quarter) led to 2 TDs & 1 FG, plus 3 punts. That was our entire output for the day: 17 points. Not that shabby when you consider that we scored on HALF of our drives to that point.

The last 7 drives led to 6 punts & 1 end-of-half (ran out of time). So with the game still hanging in the balance, we frittered away drive-after-drive, play-after-play and came away with nada … zip, zero, zilch.

Each of those last 7 non-productive drives was different in its own way. Bucs had 33 plays plus 6 punts on those drives; 8 rushes, 25 passing attempts (of which 2 were drive-killing sacks) plus the 6 punts. Interestingly, 7 of the 8 rushes were on 1st down (1 run was for 11 yards by White; the other 7 runs netted a TOTAL of 11 yards).

Of the 25 passing attempts, 11 were complete for 80 yards total (1 to Julio for 26 yards & another to Godwin for 14 yards accounted for 40 yards; the remaining 9 completions totaled 40 yards … 4.4 YPC average). Another 12 were incomplete & 2 others resulted in sacks. Interestingly, Brady threw deep 5 times in those 25 attempts; 1 was complete (at the end of regulation to Julio for 26 yards).

Bottom line: the Bucs’ offense did well for the first half of the game, but then they petered out about halfway through the 3rd quarter, big-time. They were very predictable after that, running on 1st down UNTIL they had to play catch-up, and yet they threw 5 deep balls out of 25 passing attempts so can’t say that they were ‘conservative’. They were just ineffective & didn’t match the plays very well to the down-and-distances they faced.

  25. Oneilbuc Says:

Y’all can say what you want but Brady is more of the problem than BL . None of yall gave BL credit in 2020 or last year. Now that Gronk and AB is gone Brady has been not been playing good this season and y’all know it. I knew it was going to happen once those 2 players left that Brady was not going to be good and y’all was going to blame the coaches and everyone else but Brady because of his bad play on the field. I told y’all the only thing y’all look for is a scapegoat and BL and Bowles has become the scapegoats for Brady bad play on the field . I guess it’s BL fault that Brady throws balls in the dirt. Lee Dacamper is the leader for the anti scapegoats Byron Leftwich and Todd Bowles fan base. I can’t wait until Brady is gone him and the rest of the fake New England and bucs fan bases.
