Huge night day for Rachaad White!
Absolute insanity!
What a roller coaster ride of emotions at JoeBucsFan.com world headquarters. The Bucs offense was absolutely dreadful until midway through the fourth quarter.
And then came the standoff. Tom Brady wanted to go for it on 4th-and-long in deep in Bucs territory — yes, Bucs territory — and Todd Bowles said no chance.
The Bucs defense held and then Brady was nearly perfect on the final two Bucs touchdown drives to seal the dramatic win with just a few ticks left on the clock.
Asked about getting ripped off the field when he wanted to go for it, Brady said after the game, “Great job by Coach Bowles. Indeed it was. Scoreboard.
So many heroes on the final drive. What a stunning catch by Julio Jones. What a route and catch over the middle by Scotty Miller. Cade Otton coming alive. And rookie Rachaad White was money on the final throw with the game on the line.
And best of all, it came against the hated and slimy Saints, and now the Bucs (6-6) have a commanding 1 1/2 game lead on the Falcons (5-8) with five games to play. And the Bucs own the tiebreaker edge with Atlanta. The Saints (4-9) are as good as dead, and Carolina (4-8) is hanging around.
Much love for the Bucs defense, which looked more stout with Anthony Nelson and Carl Nassib getting as much or more work than Joe Tryon-Shoyinka.
Huge night for Lavonte David (10 solo tackles and a sack), and the Bucs probably lose without Keanu Neal’s bone-crushing hit on the Saints’ final drive.
Winning feels so damn good — and it covers up a whole lot of stink!

We were only a few minutes away from a much improved chance of seeing Leftwich fired tomorrow, but they blew it and won. Now his job has been spared another week,

Two lessons in the comeback:
1. The Bucs should play more uptempo ball.
2. The Aints abandoned the middle of the field during the last two possessions, focusing on the sidelines in order to play out the clock. Huge mistake, Brady is uber elite between the hash marks. Why can’t the Bucs do that more often? Because they lack the personnel this season. The O Line sucks, and the TEs and WRs on hand just aren’t adept at quick separation between the hash marks this season.

Zyon McCollum Looks like a list puppy out there. He’s terrible at coverage and a poor tackler. Joe Tryon-Shoyinka is a waste of a draft pick. He too is lost and out of his element. Thanks for Carl Nassib’s heads up play making.

A very big win…..this should be evidence that we need to open it up on our offense……2 turnovers and we still win,
We should give huge credit to the defense for those 2 stops late in the game and holding them to FGs early……

Yes Johnny usually you don’t have as good as an offensive line when your pro bowl guard retires, Your pro bowl center and your all pro right tackle are out with injuries.
They replaced the right guard with a better player drafted another….He isn’t good but oh well. IDK what you expect? you can only patch so many holes when things like this happen.

The Bucs still don’t look like a playoff team but this win helps.

Bowles is a good DC but poor HC. He needs to get more emotional and lead from the front. If he could do that Vlad would cut him some slack

I thought the exact same before logging on, My Fellow “Kentuckian!!!!” Haha. But, THAT… Was ALL On Brady. Period. And, I really didn’t have a problem at all there, with ‘punting’ – Pretty much HAD TO in that situation… I looked-up and saw where the ball was, & said it then. So, it was absolutely, NOT some “genius” move there, by Bowles. Not at ALL.

This goes down as (one) of the best moments in Bucs history ! Of course behind the two Super Bowls, and Barbers INT that sent us to the first! Crazy insane Bucs win, and the fact they played like they did and still pulled out plays when they needed them cements it !

Then they finally went to no huddle, which removes Leftwich from the mix, and Brady gets 14 points in 5 minutes.

Man, what a win. What a swirl of mixed emotions. I’m elated we won but listening to fans on talk radio, it was another frustrating win. We are mad. We are happy. Glad we won, please let this spark some change in the O but thank God we have Brady for a few more games. Go Bucs!!

The Bucs should let Leftwich call plays from the sideline into a microphone that goes into the ether where no one hears him while a competent OC actually calls the plays to Brady and company from upstairs. Sure, after a few times that his run for a yard and a cloud of dust is not run on first down he may become suspicious but then again he may not, that is how inept I believe our OC to be! Nice win but as others have stated, this probably means Leftwich and Bowels will hang around until the end of the season. On the other hand, with the Saints having a bye week, they could do some firing of their own. Saints fans and press want Dennis Allen and their OC fired yesterday as well.

I’d be shocked if TB12 goes to San Francisco next year.
All of his children are on the East Coast which creates a coparenting logistical nightmare.

Amazing comeback win.
I VERY rarely turn off the game, but I did last night as I had to get up early for work. For some strange reason, Mrs. D-Rok had a hunch and switched off the Voice and saw game was 16-10 with a few minutes left, so she came and woke me up, so thankfully I got to see the last drive.
