All-time rant at Tom Brady.
It seems Nick Wright isn’t the only guy who works at FS1 who has a bug up his backside about Tom Brady.
Earlier this week, NFL Hall of Fame tight end and co-host of the signature hollering show on FS1, “Undisputed,” nearly became unhinged in freaking out over Brady.
Shannon Sharpe just about went mental in calling out Brady for all sorts of reasons including blowing off a team meeting and walkthrough so he could attend the wedding of a non-Bucs owner, and dog-cussing his offensive line for the FOX cameras. Sharpe went bananas because he believes all Bucs problems stem from what he perceived as Brady’s terrible play.
“HE’S AWFUL!” Sharpe screamed.
Never mind that Brady led the NFC and was third overall in the NFL in passing entering Week 6. Brady is currently fifth overall in passing (not including Kyler Murray who played his seventh game last night) and has thrown one pick.
That isn’t good enough for Sharpe, who crucified Brady for not throwing to Mike Evans enough in the ugly loss to Pittsburgh and for throwing passes in the dirt to an open Chris Godwin.
Sharp is sick of the excuses for the Bucs losing and pins every one of them on Brady.
“He’s playing like straight-up landfill,” Sharpe said. “Not trash, landfill.”

I mean I can see shapes argument. I found myself more than once yelling at the tv with Brady missing Godwin and not passing to Evans. He has been terribly inconsistent since his wife left him and it shows in his numbers. We were the highest scoring offense 2 years in a row. Now we look like we don’t even deserve a shot at the superbowl playing the way we have been.

Shannon Sharpe has zero credibility in discussing Brady. He hates him with a passion. He looks for anything to criticize Brady. If Brady throws a pick, he’s trash. Rodgers throws a pick and it’s crickets for him. Brady lives rent free in that man’s head. The funny thing is Shannon had a chance to say it to Brady’s face and he didn’t. He sucked up to him. I can’t believe Joe would even take those screaming talking TV heads seriously. FS1 is no better than BSPN.

Off topic, McCaffery just got traded to the 49ers. If Bucs lose Sunday Bowels and BL need to be fired. Why is Licht not trying to fix this team?

Sharpe sold his soul to the Hot Take army invading media these days. Nick Never Wright is an Azshat who never played a sport in his life but Sharpe is a Hall of Famer for Gods sake. They just make shiz up and flat out lie for a living. I refuse to listen to any of the garbage that they spew and that includes Skipper. The man that started his career off by telling the world that Larry Bird would be a bust. Skip now tries to ride the Brady wagon but it wasn’t always so. Sharpe gave up respectability for the almighty dollar. There’s a reason you don’t see other HOFers doing shows like this .

This is not the same Tom Brady we got in 2020. Looking at him you can tell things outside of football are weighing on him. In hindsight he might be thinking, I should’ve stayed retired, but left the door open for a comeback if I didn’t like the Fox gig after one year. He’s not all in. His play, and attitude reflect that.

Sharpe was a good player, that doesn’t mean his brain works.
Imagine being the greatest of all time and having a few personal problems. You get on the football field to have some fun and see the your OC has fallen off the edge. No plays that work for sustaining drives.
I’d look like crap too. Leftie’s chances need to be dwindling; the HC needs to have that talk with him. The play calls are awfully bad.

Sharp is a jackass, and clowns it up instead of articulating his take. Brady did not like the red pen, or BA’s antics, and had him removed. That was likely the only person to keep his ego in check, and hold him accountable. BL is just a figurehead and is there to call the plays TB12 wants. Any critiques on the playcalling should go to him.

Sharpe is a jackass when he talks politics, but in terms of criticizing Brady this year, he has been pretty fair. Fact of the matter is, even though Brady is the same athlete he was 10 years back, he is seeing ghosts and does not want anything to do with hits. He is committing too quickly to short completions and missing out on larger opportunities on critical occasions.

Whatever about Sharpe, TB12 is playing like crap, part of it is his line and part is his unwillingness to hold the ball. Launching balls at the ground is pretty friggin lame, esp. when ME could likely grab a bunch of 50/50 passes off the practice squad CB. Godwin can wrestle a ball free from the other PS CB.
How is it that both BL and TB chose to play so conservatively that we lost to PGH with so many scrubs playing.

I think its possible Brady’s minor rotator cuff injury from the Chiefs game isn’t so minor. It could be an injury he’s hiding from the team? Or the team knows and that explains the conservative play calling. I’m probably wrong but that would explain his play and the conservative play calling.

both sharpe and wright are not dumb, they just speak with their feelings every day. both resent brady’s success(wright because his team is kc/ sharpe’s was denver and baltimore) and never miss an opportunity to say brady stinks since they each came on the air. note: sharpe said brady was washed up and needed to retire in 2014 . he’s won 4 super bowls since then, three of them carrying a crappy gm, bill belichick, who refused to give him weapons on offense because bill wanted to be able to later claim the credit for winning.

Its called avoiding the sack! FYI 32 other QBs did the same thing Sunday and Johnny Unitas, the Pre Brady GOAT did it regularly 50 years ago.
