Prediction For Bucs

September 6th, 2022

Give it up, Aaron.”

The first thing Joe read when browsing through these predictions was, “When will people learn?”

You know, when will people learn or realize or embrace that drama queen Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is a choke artist? Year after year Rodgers walks off the field in the playoffs a loser. A choker. Yet folks continually predict Rodgers and the Packers will be Super Bowl-bound?

Vinnie Iyer of Sporting News believes that will happen this year, with the Packers beating the Bucs in the NFC Championship game in Green Bay, sort of revenge for 2020.

Iyer does have the Bucs winning 13 games and securing a No. 2 seed in the playoffs.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (13-4)

Tom Brady came back from his short retirement knowing he could take vacation in training camp and still have an easy walkover to second consecutive division title. He can manage the offensive issues of key line injuries and new receiving personnel while the healthier defense does its thing better for Todd Bowles.

Iyer also has the Bucs beating the Vikings and 49ers at home before losing to the Packers at Lambeau Field.

Anyone reasonably sober and wagering just a little bit of their hard-earned cash on the NFL is aware that money placed on the Packers succeeding in the playoffs is wasted money more often than not.

Packers and Rodgers are overrated. Rodgers was a choke artist with the best WR in the NFL year after year. Not happening.

  2. Goatfarmer Says:

If the Bucs are 13-4 and make it to the NFCC game they’ll be playing at home and winning.

    I don’t see 13-4’

If there is another SB, it will be like 2020.

    Americas choker boy, A Rogers.

    GO BUCS!!!?

  4. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

He did get one ring, so he’s not a complete choker.

  5. Jack Burton Mercer Says:

    13-4? Take the over.

No way to predict anything at this point. All that is certain is that the Bucs will not only face a ridiculous schedule full of last season’s playoff teams, but do so with a weaker roster. Pray that every one of those playoff teams face plants or has regressed badly.

Except the refs are the only reason the Packers were even in the playoffs. If the refs don’t call Winslow for a BS offensive PI call that was a TD, the Bucs beat the Lions at the end of the 2010 season, and the Bucs are in the playoffs, the Packers are out, and we’re not subjected to a decade of terrible ‘discount double check’ commercials – and Rodgers is known as an all-time choker, well beyond his current rep.

  8. August 1976 Buc Says:

Spot on Rod, it was the refs who choked on that one in the Lions game. Raheem and the “Youngry” boys should have been in the playoffs. Not the Discount Double Check Star.

    GO BUCS!!!

  9. George Says:

The team to beat is The Rams. Aaron Donald is a destructive force .

Rodgers has been doing exotic drugs in South America and his mind has been altered . Bucs have a gaping hole in the offensive line.

  10. EA Says:

I’d be worried about 49ers before I worry about the packers any day of the week, these writers are high.

August, a little negative this morning. Didn’t GB loose their #1 Pro Bowl receiver? Didn’t Roger’s negotiate for $50M a season putting a strangle hold on the teams cap? GB doesn’t make the PO’s.

  12. Wild Bill Says:

Got to think Roger’s is an odd duck. Very competent QB but odd and aloof in both his football and personal life. Packers have enough ability to be a contender but so do a lot of teams. Gonna be a battle to make it to the superbowl for quite a few teams. Should be an interesting year.

  13. Woodenman Says:

George I knew you were a rams fan . The truth is out.

  14. August 1976 Buc Says:

Hey List feel free to watch the Bucs and Lions game 2010 game in Tampa. It is not negative to state what happened, The refs pooped the bed on this one. Again List, facing life as it is, not unicorn delusion, but being in the midst of crap or whatever and not letting it each your lunch. It is not negative to state facts. But to let it cause you to live bummed out, that is negative, and choice which sadly so many do everyday.

    GO BUCS!!!!
