Tom Brady’s Actions Speak Louder Than Tom Brady’s Words

Tom Brady

All smiles, no finger pain?

Tom Brady boasted yesterday he felt just fine. But he demonstrated otherwise in front of reporters who were there for the normally uneventful open window for watching practice warmups.

Video from various sources shows Brady shaking his throwing hand and paying a whole lot of unusual attention to it. It was the same hand he was shown flexing on the bench at New Orleans as if it were hurt.

Brady hurt his ring finger in a bad snap exchange last week. Network broadcast video showed Brady closed his throwing hand just before a snap that resulted in a fumble.

At his league-mandated weekly presser yesterday, Brady was asked if his hand was injured. Brady, schooled in the Belicheat Doctrine of being less than forthright in press conferences, beamed widely and said, “Great. I feel great. It’s football season.”

Joe doesn’t think an injured finger is going to keep Brady sidelined. He may be Hollywood but he’s also a Michigan Man. He’s tough.

Brady is trolling the media!! No way he would be this demonstrative if his hand was badly injured. Do they see any issue with accuracy when throwing the ball? This is the same guy who went through great lengths to hide an injured hand and torn MCL.

I wish Brady would come out on crutches for the open media portion, just to give the Great Corn Florio something else to get his tighty whiteys in a bunch about.

    Tom Brady is a warrior.

He has played through dozens of injuries.

Including a torn MCL on the way to a Super Bowl!

Brady played against Jacksonville in the AFC championship game with a torn-up hand, 17 stitches as I recall, from an injury just 3 days before the game. He demanded that the surgeon tape up the hand before the game that he shouldn’t have played in. He was spectacular on his way to the Super Bowl. This is the equivalent of a pimple.

Tom is tough. It’s on his throwing hand. I rather not he have an injury. It’s got to affect him some.

Whenever I hit my “funny bone,” I always try to shake it off similar to how Brady is. Also, whenever my neuropathy acts up from my neck surgery (nerves from neck down to fingers and hands), it burns/stings/tingles, and I also try shake it off – it’s a weird feeling, and none too comfortable.

Brady’s movements in the vid above remind me of a pinched nerve…stings so he’s trying to shake it off. Just an observation, not that I’m suggesting Brady has a nerve issue in throwing arm or finger. Hope not!!
