Bucs Veterans To Report For Training Camp July 26; Tom Brady To Arrive July 23

June 11th, 2022

Training camp!

For fans yearning to smell the fresh cut training-camp grass of One Buc Palace, Joe has some news courtesy of head coach Todd Bowles’ sitdown with the Ira Kaufman Podcast.

Buccaneers coaches officially report back for duty on July 20, and then it’s quarterbacks on July 23 followed by the rest of the team on July 26. Typically, players have meetings and a basic physical on their arrival date and then they’re ready to roll on the field the following day.

So for the planners out there, expect the Bucs to be begin practicing Wednesday, July 27. So that means the pads should be on by Aug. 1, per league rules.

Of course, the schedule is subject to change, but that’s the plan per Bowles. At his Thursday news conference, Tom Brady made it clear he’d be there on Day 1 for the early quarterback sessions.

Enjoy Todd Bowles on the Ira Kaufman Podcast below. Part II with the head coach will pop on Monday.

  2. GOB Says:

Stay hydrated boys. Maybe Alex will put some special concoction in the Gatorade jug. I worry about the Fatty’s in that heat.

  3. BucsFanSince1976 Says:

NFL better hope the Saudis don’t start a Pro Football League with a 10 game schedule and no preseason with a ton more dollars or they are kaput.

  4. Day 1-76 Says:

I can’t wait to not care about the nonsense of reporting dates.

  5. GOB Says:

BFS1976, BlahahHa BlahahHa BlahahHa, can you imagine? The NFL would really be the Not For Long league. Those Saudi prince’s are rich beyond the dreams of avarice. In that scenario, you can be sure the NFL would fight back, like the PGA is doing right now.

  6. Buczilla Says:

    I’m excited man.

  7. Irishmist Says:

In a Saudi owned league, throwing the bomb would have a whole different meaning. And I’m not sure I could get behind cheerleaders in burkas.

  8. SB~LV Says:

long time …hopefully the young guns heed Bowels “summer” warning and there is nothing to read about

  10. Oddball Says:

So in a Saudi league would Vea and Hicks be Weapons of Mass Destruction?

  11. GOB Says:

LMFAO, you guys are terrible, in the best way possible. The divisions could be named after Saddam’s republican guard. Instead of the NFC south, you’d be in the south Nebuchadnezzar division.

  12. GOB Says:

Oops did i step over the lines?
