Happy NFL Schedule Release Day

May 12th, 2022

A day for fans.

Merry May Christmas! What a glorious day it is.

Tonight at 8 p.m., the NFL will reveal its complete 2022 schedule.

Legions of fans will then begin planning parties and trips, and crafting excuses why they can’t go to weddings and family reunions. Even Tom Brady will be paying attention, perhaps even re-scheduling a conference on the yacht of Dolphins owner Stephen Ross.

As soon as that schedule pops, fans from Joe’s house to the shores of Bradenton Beach and beyond will be trying to figure out how many games the Bucs will win and how they’ll start the first half of the season.

Joe wants the Bucs to open against the slimy Saints. Let’s end that hex immediately!

Stock up on Big Storm beer this afternoon and soak in the schedule reveal tonight (after you enjoy a few quality schedule leaks during the day). Joe also will be recording another Ira Kaufman Podcast episode before midnight.

Enjoy today’s Ira Kaufman Podcast! It’s an instant classic!

I will be planning my vacation days to ensure I have the prime time games off for sure. Perhaps even if there’s some 3pm (normal people time) games. The Bills game lasted until 7pm on Sunday for me and I work 3rd shift, and that was around nap time… The amount of adrenaline and anxiety of that overtime prevented me from getting any sleep. It was a long, but happy night for me.

I just hope the NOLA away game is not wrapped around a holiday or my kids Bday. That is one of the best road trip games ever. Also booked my flights to Munich….much cheaper (and direct) out of Miami

  3. DG060 Says:

With the amount of playoff teams we have to play this year I wouldn’t quite call it an early Christmas.

  4. Evolvingbucsfan Says:

I’d be more excited about the schedule, if I knew our D had a certain dude signed to help it be better.

  6. BucYou Says:

I live in TN so any game in this area, I will see the Bucs play. I’m definitely going to lock in NOLA this year it’s a a lot of fun win or lose, but would love to rub a W in their face. #8 I feel you, they need to sign the big guy!

    @evolvingbucsfan. They already have.

Week 7 against GB for TNF
Week 8 against BAL for SNF
Week 9 against DAL at 4:25

  10. RPK Says:

Slimy Saints and Rams need to get KO’d this year by the Bucs!

Hopeful Prediction: Saints will suck, and the Rams will be ravaged by injuries.

    If we are just guessing:

    Here are my guesses

    Week 1 @ Dallas
    Week 2 @ NO
    Week 3 v. GB
    Week 4 v. KC

1st 4 games murders row. Maybe all without Godwin.

    Last games 4 games:
    Week 15 v. Pitts
    Week 16 @ Arizona
    Week 17 v. Carolina
    Week 18 @ Atlanta

    ———
At least 4 game win streak to end season.

Ooof, that would be a pretty tough way to start the season if it plays out like that.

Leaks are flowing. Game 2 is in fact NO and game 13 is Bucs hosting Saints on Monday night. Everyone knows Bucs host Chiefs on Sunday night in week 4. Anxious to see what other prime time games will be hosting….if any after those two.
