About That Dolphins Rumor With Tom Brady, Or The 49ers Rumors…

March 25th, 2022

Same Tampa quarters?

Knowing who Twittered this, Joe is going to believe it.

J.C. Cornell, who’s affiliated with The Draft Network website, has been tight with folks who hold high positions at One Buc Palace. In other words, the Cornell’s connections also have significant influence at One Buc Palace.

So this afternoon, Cornell Twittered something that is sure to gain the interest of those pushing the notion that Bucs quarterback Tom Brady is trying to muscle the Bucs into a trade to the Dolphins, or those who hold out hope he will play for his favorite team growing up near his hometown, the 49ers.

This seems very, very odd given the information Cornell passed along today.

This Dolphins rumor seemed nuts to begin with given that Brady helped talk so many Bucs free agents into staying put. And last night it was reported Brady is still talking to potential free agents about coming to the Bucs.

Seems very strange for a guy who wants to play in Miami (or San Francisco), no?

  1. Kalind Says:

Every man has his price. And I think for the rights to Tom Brady….ohh I dunno, 20 years of first and second round picks sounds like a pretty fair deal to me. Throw in Tua or Lance depending on the team.

  2. LJS4th Says:

All the Fake News is garbage!!! Brady is playing for the Bucs!!! I am more interested in who he is trying to recruit!!!

  3. Dooley Says:

Brady to Miami sounds as ridiculous as Baker to Tampa, both are hypothetically counter productive. Hell, I’d take Mike Glennon back over Baker Mayfield

  4. Leopold Stotch/BuccaneerButters Says:

Dolphins have Tua and signed Teddy. Besides Steven Ross is a moron and that entire organization has been in disarray since Marino left. Mike McDaniel seems like a good coach, but they fired Flores when he was doing well (yes I know it involved Tua, don’t care). Brady is a god in Tampa, there’s literally no good reason for Brady to leave other than the media not looking like fools.

  5. Allbuccedup Says:

Nobody wants Baker Mayfield that says it all.

  6. Tony D Says:

Not to mention all the recruitment by Brady to get players to sign/resign with the Bucs. All for the purpose of him trying to go somewhere else? C’mon man!

  7. PewterStiffArm Says:

The Sports Media in some cases has as much credibility as the Main Stream Media, which is not much.

  8. BuxfaninTX Says:

That’s Mike Florio at PFT fabricating BS so he can be right about something

  9. Rod Munch Says:

In Brady’s unretiring post, he says, “I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. We have unfinished business.” His wife responded, “Lets go Bucs!”…

    Seems pretty definentive.

Although, if he doesn’t sign an extension, it’s proof that Brady hates Arians, that they almost had a fist fight during the NFC Championship game. I have amazing sources that tell me this is all true.

  10. alton d green Says:

it’s Trump’s fault. along with Covid

  11. Beeej Says:

At best, Brady wanted to do that at one time, until it became obvious it could not happen.

  12. Bucs Guy Says:

You mispelled “Mainstream Medua”. The correct spelling is “Lamesteam Media”.

  13. Bucs13 Says:

Basket would be excellent candidate for backup to sit back and learn from Brady one year bad shoulder and one year bad coach and two really good years take him any day over Winston or Freeman or the other countless qbs that couldn’t get it done two years ago before Brady signed i said all we need is a qb we have the rest and after he signed I was having a custom cribbage board made with the bucs on it and I told the guy to put super bowl LV on it and he laughed we know where that went we have receivers and rbs Brady unfortunately not playing forever so bring on Basket to learn from him and take over the reigns

  14. Bucs13 Says:

Correction supposed to be Baker auto correct

  15. Fin in CA Says:

BTW, if Brady came to Miami, he’d have to get another jersey # as #12 was Bob Griese, right?

  16. zzbucs Says:

Makes no sense….is stupid, is fabricated in order to keep the show going on…..
NFL business is about the season, free agency and draft….then are lot´s of nothing , so the Florios the ESPN´s and so on have to invent all kinf of BS…….
    Who better than the Goat!!!!!

Journailsm in many cases (NOT JOE) has became rubish..even bad taste !!

  17. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Frankly, it never made any sense that Brady would play anywhere else…..he won a SB here & came up a bit short……the thought of him moving around to different teams this late in his career is ludicrous.

  18. Rod Munch Says:

While I don’t believe this story is real – I do believe the Dolphins are loading up in order to get Brady next year. You really think they’re getting all those offensive pieces for Tua? Nah, they’re going to see Tua not do much, then play Bridgewater, keep themselves probably around .500, then next offseason will give Brady whatever he wants to sign. Brady now lives down there, and would be back in the AFC East for one last stand to make the lives of everyone there miserable, in particular the Patriots.

The Bucs should do everything they can to get Brady to sign a new deal for exactly this reason. These rumors will be around all year if they don’t get a new deal done – and while I don’t think that’s a huge deal, it’s going to just be a bunch of fake news drama that everyone writes about, and it will be annoying.

  19. Rod Munch Says:

My sources tell me that the reason the Dolphins signed Teddy Bridgewater was to facilitate this trade, that it was what was needed in order to get Arians to move one from Brady, and the deal will be built around Bridgewater and a 2024 5th round pick.

  20. StAugBuc Says:

The path out of the NFC much easier than that brutal battle through the AFC. That conference is loaded

  21. Dean Giusti Says:

I never seen such stupid rumors in my life. It’s already made Florio, Nick Wrong and numerous other talking heads look like fools.

  22. Rod Munch Says:

The fact that Brady doesn’t immediately release a video denouncing these rumors is proof of how much he hates Arians. In fact, according to my sources, Brady has referred to Arians as the ‘Putin of football’ and said he’d rather lick Bill Billichecks toes than share a beer with Bruce. Sourcing on this is very legit, 100% record of accuracy fellas, this is real.

  23. HC Grover Says:

    Baloney.

  24. Adam's Angry Says:

It’s getting to be that the sports page is starting to traffic in the same style of “fake news” that the WaPo, NYT, CNN, and MSNBC are starting to traffic in.

✅ Create unsubstantiated, unsourced piece of material.

✅ Flood social media w/ it and wait for the story to get legs.

✅ When story turns out to be BS, move on to another topic before anyone realizes you have ZERO credibility.

  25. BelleGladeBuc Says:

Going to the AFC is a murder’s row of QB’s.

    Josh Allen = Bills
    Patrick Mahomes = Chiefs
    Justin Herbert = Chargers
    Joe Burrow = Bengals
    Russell Wilson = Broncos
    Watson = Browns
Ryan = Colts(Colts D and run game are Super Bowl Caliber)

The road to the Super Bowl is much tougher through the AFC than the NFC this year and in future years.

NFC has Rodgers, Dak, Stafford, Jimmy G, Wentz, Hurts and Cousins.
    TB12 knows this.

Going to the any team in the AFC makes Brady’s journey to a rings MUCH harder, this year and for years to come.

The Dolphins are in the AFC.

    Again, Brady knows this.

  26. Goatfarmer Says:

Rod Munch – your sources’ comments are actually more plausible than some of the cockaninnie being shoveled by Brady insider wannabes. Somehow we should expect one of these “close to Brady” numbskulls to suggest a three way deal between the Bucs, Niners and Dolphins. And it involves Sean Payton.

  27. bucfan34 Says:

    BS… Smoke & mirrors.

  28. DungyDance Says:

    Lol “Putin of football”

  29. Bucaroo Says:

If he played in Miami, he would have to face the Patriots twice a year. Based on the emotional toll that the one game he had took on him and the poor performance as a result, he probably would not want to go through that twice or more a year.

  30. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Kalind Says
“Every man has his price. And I think for the rights to Tom Brady….ohh I dunno, 20 years of first and second round picks sounds like a pretty fair deal to me. Throw in Tua or Lance depending on the team.”

I would take that in a heartbeat.

  31. BelleGladeBuc Says:

The AFC is LOADED with elite QB’s or team’s with elite D’s/running games.

    Josh Allen = Bills
    Patrick Mahomes = Chiefs
    Justin Herbert = Chargers
    Joe Burrow = Bengals
    Russell Wilson = Broncos
    Watson = Browns
    Lamar Jackson = Ravens
Ryan = Colts(Colts D and run game are Super Bowl Caliber)
Tannehill = Titans(Titans D and run game are Super Bowl Caliber)
Honorable Mention: Pats and Steelers because of their HOF Caliber Head Coaches.

It’s all about the rings now for TB12.

The Dolphins are in the AFC, making their journey to the Super Bowl MUCH tougher.

    Again, Brady knows this.

AFC road to the Super Bowl is going to be extremely tough.

  34. ModHairKen Says:

Do you think the Glazers want to be sued by their fans for deceptive and unfair trade practices? Sell a bunch of seats with a ruse like this and see what happens.

  35. TBfan Says:

Tom’s being traded to Miami, and dr. Fauci is legit too.

  36. Mort Says:

What did this Twitter message say? It’s not loading.

  37. Crickett Baker Says:

I can’t see tweet either. I wish all fake news would disappear so quickly..

  38. Allen Lofton Says:

When you give credence to utter nonsense it makes all of you idiots

  39. WillieG Says:

Joe, Twitter is no longer allowing you to share Tweets. Well, at least it isn’t letting you share with those of us who don’t have Twitter. Could you please write what the tweets say?

  40. Aaron Says:

Lol this year just started getting crazy for you suckeraners fans Miami he’s going

  41. Iamabuc Says:

This is when “Cloak and Dagger” becomes “Smoke and mirrors”..😂😂😂

I may eat Bologna but I will never believe this Bologna.

  43. SPARKY Says:

I just heard from a very reliable source, that Gisele just divorced Tom and at. this very moment is flying to South Dakota to find my old a$$. If Brady took time to answer every rumor and story, weather true or not, he would get nothing else done. I bet he laughs at this crap.

  44. Pewter Power Says:

    Maybe next year

  45. Mike28277 Says:

Don’t believe a word of this S**t. Tom values his reputation. BUT, lets play the game..

TB to SF: I want Bosa, Deebo, Kittle and 2 #1″s
TB to Miami: I want Waddle, Geiseki, and Wilkins and 2 #1’s

    There…Done

  46. Eckwood Says:

If there is nothing to it , Brady would contact a reporter or hold a presser to clear the record for team building purposes …… so if something is stirring expect it to go down soon , very soon !!

  47. Scott Says:

Keep him he’s certainly not needed in Miami 🖕

  48. FERNANDO DIAZ Says:

I can believe you print this garbage lol

  49. Buc You Says:

Brady to Miami for Teddy Bridgewater? JoeBucsFan dream come true 🤣😂🤣

  50. BUCman Says:

Miami doesn’t even have a pick in this years draft until #102 which is a 3rd round compensatory pick. So they don’t even have draft capital to make a trade. And Brady would never risk his reputation by recruiting all these players to come back to play with him and then jump ship once they come on board. Not to mention how overloaded the AFC is now. Ridiculous how people throw things out there on Twitter and others run with it as if it’s breaking news. Just shows common sense is not very common! Lets start a new rumor. Brady wants to play for the Lions to prove he can win with any team and he’s recruiting Barry Sanders to come out of retirement to get a ring.

  51. Daniel Ross Says:

If the Dolphins would have drafted Herbert over Tua, we would be Super Bowl bound for the first time since 1984 and a chance at breaking our nearly 50 year drought and winning a Super Bowl. I do believe it is fake news, but if Brady does come to Miami, Super Bowl winners!!! 🐬🐬🐬🐬🐬

  52. EA Says:

So what did Cornell Twitter? I can’t see anything there, is this click bait ?

  53. BuckyNeer Says:

Go look for Colin Cowherds podcast. He discussed it there

  54. SoFloBuc Says:

    Me either?

  55. cmurda Says:

Yeah this rumor is clearly malarkey. However, Tyreek Hill retiring now that he got traded to Miami, way possible.

  56. cmurda Says:

I think it said Tom renewed the lease on his house in Tampa.

Who cares. That’s probably not true either which is why the tweet got deleted. All I know is Brady is in Tampa playing for the Bucs. TB12 loves all the drama. He probably laughs himself to sleep every night. The GOAT doesn’t need to explain anything to anybody. Let’s go get our 3rd SB win this year.

  57. Yucs2Bucs Says:

I’ll take Tua a first, second, and 3rd plus Howard. All these people think Tua is garbage are totally wrong and had no help ) including the coach and still did ok. Go Bucs and the Fins are stacked this year !!!

  58. Bucs Win Says:

    Aaron,
LOL How long did it take you to come up with that gem? What a wordsmith you are! You have such a great command of the English language!! Moron.

  59. John Collins Says:

Not a day goes by without a Brady story on the newsfeed even in retirement but it is necessary to document the dynamics in play decisions made by an all time great

  60. Tampadeuce21 Says:

Tweet said Brady renewed lease on tampa home and wifey responded go bucs when he announced he’s coming back. In a nut shell

  61. Buczilla Says:

Knuckle draggers like Florio are incapable of seeing the world as it is and are hell bent on influencing people into joining their fantasy world. I used to admire, respect, and enjoy his writing, but he has gone over the edge. Hopefully he can find his way back to reality…

I just heard from a very reliable source, that Gisele just divorced Tom and at. this very moment is flying to South Dakota to find my old a$$.

LOLOLOLOL it must be true, BSPN is now picking up the story, they said a reliable source in South Dakota aka “Sparky” swears to the validity lololol of this, and also other trusted Bucs insiders are reporting this on Joe Bucs Fan Blog as we speak. And you know it has to be true because the great Mike Florio has more to report, as soon as he gets off the Toilet producing more crap lololol

Stay tuned for more to come lololol

    GO BUCS!!!!!!!

  63. SPARKY Says:

Sorry Aug. 1976, Florio just put out that from what his sources told him there are no airports in South Dakota. Chris Sims told him, he’s pretty sure there’s no South Dakota.

    GO BUCS!!!

  66. View from 132 Says:

I’m all for it. Brady to the Dolphins. For his rights, Bucs get Miami’s 1st and 2nd round picks for the next 4 seasons. If you can pull off a lopsided Hershel Walker trade, do it.

  67. bucsfanfromNE Says:

Shoot if the dolphins took breeze instead of culpepper win win for all the slimy saints would of been nothing

  68. John M Hemmer Says:

Sounds like T. Brady is making his 2nd fictional movie 🎥
Is he trying to win an Oscar too?
