Tom Brady And The Raiders

February 7th, 2022

“SOB! Right after Mark Davis stabs me in the back, Dana White was working to get Tom Brady here. Why the f@ck didn’t he do that two years ago? I’d still have a job!”

Well here is a fun story.

A good story is when you learn things. And Joe learned three things here.

In an interview with TMZ, human cockfighting shot-caller Dana White, who apparently is a good friend of former Bucs quarterback Tom Brady, put a full-court on Brady to force a trade out of Tampa Bay to Las Vegas.

Brady, Joe learned, is a part-owner of this UFC outfit that has made White (majority owner) filthy rich.

So White began hammering Brady in the days immediately after the Bucs lost to the Rams in the playoffs, telling Brady he should demand to be traded by the Bucs to the Raiders. Joe guesses White is no fan of Derek Carr (given how the Bucs are now quarterback-less, Joe can think of worse trades than to get Carr).

White grew up a Belicheats fan and is now a Raiders guy living and working in Las Vegas. He claimed he was motivated by the Brady retirement rumors. But what exactly gave White the idea that Brady would leave the Bucs or was even interested in leaving the Bucs if Brady stuck around the NFL for the 2022 season?

Joe cannot help but think White had heard what Peter King and Adam Schefter and Seth Wickersham have stated: that part of the reason Brady retired is he grew frustrated with the Bucs’ coaching staff.

You can see White discuss his conversations with Brady in the TMZ video below.

All the melodrama, the blah blah blah going on by the “wish he came to my team folks”
But he 1 thing for sure as of this moment is a 2nd Lombardi trophy at 1 Buccaneer Palace. lololol
Whatever happens, I am very Thankful the Brady’s Magical mystery Tour went through Tampa Bay.
    Thx Tom

    GO BUCS

  2. Buczilla Says:

Just like Jameis, Vinny, and all the others, Brady is out of sight, out of mind. Let’s go Trask!

  3. westernbuc Says:

MMA is like WWE in that they like to build heat. Rogan has Austin, White wants Vegas.

  4. Bobby M. Says:

Highly doubt he heads to Vegas with his family…..San Fran would seem more realistic.

  5. Scotty in Fat Antonio Says:

Texans in talks to make Lovie “Howell” Smith their next head coach…..LMAO!

  6. BuccoBDub Says:

White also calling the Saints to get Kamara traded to Raiders after the a** whooping he put on someone at a night club. Pro Bowl – county jail – Raiders. Sounds right to me.

  7. Bruce Blahak Says:

Save The Licht House…Sign the FAs….Bucs CAN own this division, this decade!

  8. SufferingSince76 Says:

The Raiders aren’t all that and haven’t been in years. They are hanging on to the glory days with no SB win since ‘84. These rumors are all over the place and largely laughable. He could have had anything he wanted in Tampa and I have a hard time believing the AB fiasco had anything to do with Brady retiring. Especially after AB threw him under the bus.

  9. Bird Says:

He is retired but there will be story after story

    You can believe that

  10. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    Rediculous

  11. stpetebucsfan Says:

Joe I appreciate your moniker “human cockfighting”. I confess among my many shortcomings was the “pleasure” I took from watching guys beat the living hell out of each other. It’s human nature that goes back to at least the Coliseum and I’m sure earlier. Finally it hit me…it’s truly barbaric. As an Irishman I was humiliated by Conor McGregor as I am proud of Brady. I was happy to see the cocky arsehole get whipped and by a vegetarian. LMAO

I do not judge anybody who enjoys it…as I mentioned I used to myself. I simply invite anyone who does to join me in finding a higher part of your human nature.

As to the story…I’m getting pretty tired of all these guys calling Tom Brady a liar.

Do we all believe Brady is a liar?

  12. lambchop Says:

Till we don’t hear from Brady about any frustration with the Bucs coaches, I’m gonna go with the fact that the rumors were strong of Brady’s retirement and I’m pretty sure anyone in Brady’s circle already knew he was going to retire. Dana White was hoping to lure him away from retirement as there was no way he was going to lure him while Brady was playing. The Raiders? C’mon. They don’t compare to the players we have.

  13. Buctank Says:

I’m prettt sure Dana white is not the majority owner of ufc. He is the president and has about 10%.

  14. Morgus the Magnificent Says:

Look, TB12 is DONE, retired, and at his age, he is not coming back!!

  15. PassingThru Says:

The only way I see Brady coming back is if he heads up an ownership group that purchases an NFL franchise.

How realistic is that? Less than 1-in-5000 odds, and diminishing with each passing day.

  16. ModHairKen Says:

This is starting to sound like when the Beatles broke up or when Elvis died.

    Brady ain’t coming back.

  17. Bobby M. Says:

Something to consider…..but IF the greatest QB of all time questioned this staff, how do the other players now look at Arians & Co? I have to wonder if there’s a tad bit of frustration for guys that were hoping to make some legit runs into the playoffs, now facing some big unknowns. With Brady here, I think the decision to stay was easy if the money was close….but now I think the guys could be a bit deflated losing the best there was.

IMO….when Brady talked about no distractions during the week of playoff games, he was sending a message to more than the players. It was a shot to the staff that he didn’t appreciate them interviewing when the whole purpose he was here was on the line. For three games in a row, Leftwich’s offense sputtered in the first half for an avg of 10 pts….in the biggest moment of what could have been another epic comeback by Brady, Bowles defense completely sh!ts itself with 40 seconds remaining leaving the best WR in the game open to set up a game winning FG. I think if that rubbed Brady wrong, his teammates took notice and might be a bit down as well on this staff.

  18. Cobraboy Says:

Trade rights to Brady for Carr RIGHT NOW, Jason Licht!

    Git ‘er done!

  19. Lesco_Brandon Says:

Enough of this Brady talks. A lot of IF’s, could , should, maybe, hearsays, speculations. He is retired leave it at that. Football life has to go on. Lets focus on moving forward with what the BUCS have. IF we have to praise or criticize Trask and other active players in the roster, so be it…. TB12 is done.

  20. Nano107 Says:

You take what this guy White says ?
    Lol

  21. Vanquished Says:

I have little doubt that BA is a big reason why Brady retired. He’s a terrible coach and if it weren’t for him they’d likely have made the superbowl again and even gone undefeated

  22. David Says:

Don’t start taking anything Dana White says to heart. He talks to hear himself talk

  23. Eric b Says:

Dont leave tb12!!!! One more year one more SB!!!
