Cameron Jordan Wants To Recruit Tom Brady

February 9th, 2022

Saints DE Cameron Jordan

Perhaps the only thing more annoying than repeatedly losing to the Saints is hearing one of the most hated and big-mouthed New Orleans players openly talking about recruiting Tom Brady.

Stud Saints edge rusher Cameron Jordan was flapping this week on The Jim Rome Show. Before a national audience, he had the nerve to compare Saints head coach Sean Payton’s retirement to Brady’s, as in both guys left the door open to return.

“There’s a lot of, ‘Hmm, could he come back?’ And if he’s going to come back, does he want to put on the black and gold?” Jordan said of Brady. “Just actively recruiting.”

Jordan went on to say the Saints would have been set for a Super Bowl run this season if Jameis Winston stayed healthy. But he also went on to say if the Saints had a big name quarterback, specifically naming Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson or Lamar Jackson, they’d be set for another run next season.

“I’m actively recruiting,” Jordan emphasized again.

No, Joe doesn’t think there’s any chance that Tom Brady would play for the Saints one day. But it’s Tom Brady, so nobody can be sure.

Jordan also talked about the possibility of this being “a sabbatical year” for Payton and that he very well could return to New Orleans as an offensive coordinator or a head-coach-in-waiting.

Lol he’s recruiting? For what team? He’s got a 0% chance of returning next year. The Saints are over cap by a gargantuan amount. Recruiting Tom Brady…yea ok pal.

  2. Erick Says:

This guy is such a turd. He really plays for the perfect team

  3. unbelievable Says:

Also zero chance the Bucs would trade Brady’s rights to a team in the same division.

Maybe Jordan should stick to playing the game and running his mouth on twitter, cuz he doesn’t seem to understand how contracts work. LOL.

  4. zzbucs Says:

Cameron Jordan is the same guy with a big mouth and no rings in his hands??
    Poor loser!!!!
With that cap situation maybe they can bring the trun over machine again!!!

  5. Dusthty Rhothdes Says:

Lamar Jackson is no where near the class of the other guys, let Lamar go to the Saints. Jordan is a complete turd too. Brady isn’t going to NO; I think SF is out of the picture due to him wanting to be near his son in NYC. Think only the Bucs and this may be wild but maybe the Browns would be a place for Brady, because they are a Super Bowl ready team with a gawd awful QB, who might end up in Tampa if the Bucs trade Tahmmy

  6. tampabuscsbro Says:

I will burn that city to the ground with that POS Jordan.

  7. Im not tired anymore we Super Bowl Champs!! Says:

I can’t stand Cam Jordan. He’s so annoying

  8. Nano107 Says:

    lol everyone recruiting 🤡🤡

  9. Marine Buc Says:

    LOL!!!

The team with negative $71 million salary cap dollars isn’t going to attract anyone at QB except Mr. Crab Legs…

The Saints can’t even afford to pay attention at this point.

  10. ElioT Says:

This is all such non-sense. The Saints have no cap room to sign a towel boy yet alone a starting QB.

That franchise is in cap hell.

  11. Marine Buc Says:

Oh – and by the way…

Have fun paying Alvin Kamara The remaining $20 million plus of guaranteed money you still owe him.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

    OOOOOOPS.

  12. bucsfan951 Says:

listen, i know the salary cap can be manipulated and such but the saints have to be in cap hell. they are in the red by the tune of $76 million next season with 57 guys under contract.

ok, they kick the can into 2023. well, they have a positive cap of $24 million in 2023 but only have 29 players under contract.

i mean, at a certain point, the cap has to come back and bite them, right? being $76 million in the red is not a good thing.

i wonder why SP left them this year…

  13. Steven007 Says:

Aside from the other good points made already, the saints offense is horrific. Their best running back is going to probably miss at least a third of the season. Their best wide receiver is desperately trying to get out and is overrated to begin with, there are no tight ends of note. The offensive line is good, that’s about it offensively. Their extraordinarily annoying but genius head coach is now gone, and they have a pretty good defense. Exactly what is enticing here for Brady? Aside from the fact that he would never be traded to this team unless we hijack them for draft picks that they would never be willing to give. All of that said, I do understand the need to pump out articles however nonsensical.

  14. VSyl Says:

This is the guy that said Brady was “one week away from arthritis”. I doubt Brady wants anything with him.

  15. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    What BS….

  16. tampabayallday Says:

He’s a tool and a turd but if he were on the Bucs dline he would OWN. We need a DE like Cam.

  17. Snook Says:

Sounds like tampering talking about a player under contract with another team…

  18. Joe in Michigan Says:

I didn’t think there was anything Cam Jordan could do to look more like a tool, but he went and proved me wrong.

  19. Biff Barker Says:

Great player. Surprised that ginaormous head can fit in a helmet.

Marine Buc, lol now Kamara has a ‘film dont lie problem”. Book em’ Danno!

  20. SC Bucs Fan Says:

Jordan could have gone to the Super Bowl with Winston… they could have afforded darn good seats too.

  21. Biff Barker Says:

Saints have always been a dirty team. Simple as that.

  22. Bobby M. Says:

If he goes anywhere, it will be a team capable of paying himself, Gronk and probably AB. His objective is crystal clear….SBs or nothing. We were that team until injuries, AB and a brain dead defensive call ended our season. I believe he finds his way out to San Fran and brings his posse along to put the 49ers over the top.

  23. chris l Says:

LOL this guy is an idiot. jameis leading them as super bowl contenders? no way. imagine jameis winston in a playoff game. it would be like havoc everywhere. this guy calling for brady when he said he sucked? well sorry cam jordan, you have ZERO titles and not getting one. sorry

  24. Devinwhiteshorse3 Says:

Oh cam let me guess America’s quarterback aint doing it for ya? Lol

  25. Buddhaboy19 Says:

Maybe we should be actively recruiting Cameron Jordan, what a stud. Can’t stand the guy, be he sure has destroyed the Bucs and he just seems to ball out.

  26. idiaznet Says:

So, this just tells me that the players don’t believe in Jameis at this point. If you believed that you would have had a Playoff run with Jameis then why are you actively trying to recruit Brady, Rogers or anyone else?

He never did that when Brees was there…. I’m just saying….

  27. RottenAmiigo94 Says:

Ironically the guy with no Super Bowl rings is the one talking the most. The man has a complex. Idc if NO beats us every year. I’d take two Super Bowls over that piece of trash any day

  28. SKBucsFan Says:

Can’t stand the guy in Black and Gold. But would look good in Red and Pewter.

  29. sauron's eye Says:

Jordan must have been high. Why would Brady want to go to a team in total rebuild. Their only great skill player on offense is upside your head Kamara.

  30. Tampabaybucfan Says:

He should be lobbying for a decent coach……and anger management for Kamara.

  31. cmurda Says:

Cameron Jordan’s gotta have CTE. That is one of the dumbest ideas ever. The only talented guy on offense is currently trying to climb down the legal totem pole after beating the crap out of somebody in chicken style. Best of luck recruiting the GOAT. With that said, the words from Brady indicate he would consider playing elsewhere. I don’t know if there is any truth to the claims of some including on here that the Bucs coaching staff is dysfunctional or maybe Tom knew the team would be noticeably worse with all the free agents. Either way, it’s a downer if Tom wants to play in SF or anywhere else.

  32. cmurda Says:

Jason is going to find us a QB that can keep us competitive. This isn’t the time to go all in with a rookie. The rest of the team is built to win now. I do believe a guy like Rodgers, Russell Wilson or even Jimmy G will end up piloting the ship. If Brady happens to go to SF, we will be the team to beat them in the playoffs and kill that idea. Mark my words.

  33. adam from ny Says:

    #BucsAntagonizerWithRinglessHands

  34. BuccaneerButters Says:

Why does no one seem to comprehend that Brady is under contract with us for another year? If he were to comeback, we’d have to let him go. The likelihood of him getting permission to go play for the aints is nonexistent. I am dreading the day I have to see this man on TV, because as much as I can’t stand him, he is talented behind a mic from what I’ve seen and that’s going to attract a lot of people for media jobs. Anyway, the only place Brady would most likely be allowed to go would be NE to retire a Pat.

  35. RandsABucFan Says:

To you, Winston fanboys and you know who you are even if you have changed your name or contribute to this here corner of the web *wink* *wink*

Tom Brady nearly completed 70 percent of his passes for 5,316 with 43 touchdowns to just 12 interceptions

Makes Jameis Winston look like that “blind squirrel” to have reached 5000 yards with how many turnovers again? 40sumthin?

These Brady numbers should win Tom that MVP award tonight.

Aaron Rodgers completed nearly 70 percent of his passes for 4,115 yards and 37 touchdowns to 7 interceptions.

  36. RandsABucFan Says:

*correction* MVP Season Award is tomorrow night

  37. ModHairKen Says:

I think it’s funny because there is no way in hell he’d go to that arm pit, New Orleans. Joke of a coach. Felon RB. Primary Donna WR. Thug DBs. Loser lineman.

  38. August 1976 Buc Says:

lol Thats life in the Big City boy. Never forget, NFL players are human beings, not Robots. We live in a free country. Be thankful for what you have, not pissed by what you do not. If Tom comes back and plays somewhere, I do not think it will be the latest Salary Cap hell known as New Orleans. But even if Tom did, whatever.

Life goes on, and that is the greatest gift and privilege we have. When your life comes to the end, it will not matter what Tom did or did not do, all that will matter to you is having another day to be thankful for being alive.
Appreciate what you have, go after life full speed, whatever your goals are, but do not waste time pissing and moaning about what you have or do not have.

    GO BUCS!!!!!

  39. gotbbucs Says:

The Saints will barely have a recognizable NFL team once they make enough roster cuts to get down to salary cap compliance and Alvin Kamara goes to prison.

  40. steele Says:

Every fool is “crootin” the GOAT.

  41. Marc Coppola Says:

Sure. Give us your 1st 2nd and 3rd round picks for the next ten years.

  42. sasquatch Says:

Well, the Bucs hold Brady’s rights. They’re not trading his rights within the division, so he can dream on.

  43. Lokog Says:

F the aints and pay Godwin

  44. brooks Says:

I would recruit him to if I were an aints fan

  45. Rob F Says:

The Bucs aren’t letting Brady out if his contract to sign with the Saints. L. O. L.

  46. David Crum Says:

😂 must be a joke or I guess he’s not as smart as I thought he was.

  47. bucschamp Says:

I will welcome Cameron playing for the bucs for 1million.

  48. JayWill Says:

Cam knows Winston isn’t going back to the Saints. He wouldn’t be going back even if Sean was there.
