If Bucs coach Bucco Bruce Arians lays on the couch in a fetal position every night because of this past week’s nonsense with furniture-tossing, bicycle-winging, tantrum-throwing quitter Antonio Brown wigging out and getting thrown off the team, Arians sure doesn’t show it.
The last few days Brown is demonstrating how he’s more of an arse than we initially believed (which is saying something). Besides unloading on social media, Brown has trashed Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht on a couple of podcasts, thrown Tom Brady, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin under the Bucs and, of course, called out Arians.
So what does Arians think of all of this noise? Eh, a week in the life of an NFL head coach.
“There’s a been a bunch of them worse and there’s been a hell of a lot better,” Arians said of the past few days. “It’s just a part of the job and you just have to go with the flow.
“I really hated missing last week with COVID, and the rest of the weekend – it was a great win.”
You see? All of this Brown stuff is behind Arians. Why is that? The Bucs won last week, will try to win tomorrow and get ready to host the franchise’s first home playoff game since January 2008.
Bigger fish to fry for Arians. Brown is water under the bridge.

In light of the past 24 hours of news I wonder how ANYone can defend that scumbag, waste of flesh, that is AB.
He would have accidently caught some friendly fire if he were in my platoon.

It was always about the money. Self-inflicted covid card suspension, hurt ankle, re-tweaked hurt ankle….AB began realizing during 1st half Jets game that he would NEVER reach his incentives unless he was the Bucs’ exclusive receiver. This is what triggered his entire, long simmering outburst. Throwing the GOAT who singlehandedly saved and resurrected your career TWICE, taking you under his wing, under his roof….was your last graceless act, AB. You blew it.

I believe we all actually knew that AB was a bipolar mess.
Most of us were fine with “making a deal with the devil” – taking a short term gain knowing this distraction and long term loss was inevitable.
I was surprised that AB made it as long as he did TBH.

I would imagine there is a bit of a calming effect now at One Buc Place. Yes they gotta prepare for the some new challenges. But the babysitting and ridiculous behavior of a certain man is no longer a threat. I’m confident there are many stories about his moronic behavior that that won’t be shared about Antonio’s time with the Bucs. Then again, with time, maybe they will be shared. @onelessdistraction.

Anytime a person blames many others for their problems….that’s usually a telltale sign of erratic thinking.

I’m kind of glad AB called out Godwin and Evans saying nobody is better than him as if he was single-handedly saving the team. I expect this guys to be extra motivated especially on offense.

Cobra, I agree. In fact I think the fact that we came back to win is part of what fueled additional BS rhetoric from Brown in the recent days. But he has proven to be a POS so perhaps it was coming either way.

For all those around here who have trash BA even though they won the Super Bowl and are currently 12-4, won the division and are going to the playoffs while having a massive rash of injuries throughout the year, WAKE UP.
He is the best coach the Buccaneers of ever had.
I 100% believe everything he has said and don’t believe a damn thing a B has said. It’s the track record of both. BA tells it like it is. He is a straight shooter who doesn’t BS and it is why every player who’s ever played for him for 30 years loves the guy. Do you not remember last year when he essentially said, referring to Tom Brady, we lost because my quarterback didn’t play well?
AB on the other hand told us exactly this lie when he left Pittsburgh. He’s willing to throw everyone under the bus who took him in and gave him a shot and got him a Super Bowl ring.
He was trying to get his $2 million in regular season and playoff incentives converted to guaranteed money because he felt he had leverage because Godwin was injured?????!!
… After he just pulled the BS with a fake vaccination card??
The BUCS need to do great on Offense without him this week, look good enough on defense until the pass rush is back for the playoffs, and not answer another question about him.
He’s nothing but an immature, ungrateful, diva, distraction.
Tom is too much of a standup guy but it would be awesome if he held a press conference and said “I lobbied hard to bring him in here, I let the man sleep in my house with my family, we gave him a 4th chance, went out of the way to make sure he got his incentives last year, got him a Super Bowl ring, and he couldn’t make it through a season and a half without turning on everyone around him. I apologize for ever bringing him here.”

Seems to me he had a good chance to hit his incentives in the last two games… you know TB would have done everything in his power to make it happen.
He was pissed that Licht wouldn’t guarantee. From what I read from the podcast, he couldn’t understand why he was on a prove it deal.
Dude.. you are the definition of a prove it deal, and you failed again. Silver lining? A$$hat just insulted TB12 and really the whole team right before the playoffs.

We hosted the superbowl in Feburary……that is a playoff game. So how is next week the first playoff game we have hosted since 08?

Not according to the NFL. Super Bowl is the Super Bowl. Playoffs (games leading up to the Super Bowl) are the playoffs. Now “postseason” includes both playoff games and Super Bowl.
A playoff game is not the Super Bowl.

Once again, Super Bowl = Super Bowl (only). Playoffs = Playoffs (2-3 games after regular season and before Super Bowl).
“Postseason” includes all games after the regular season including playoffs and Super Bowl.

I am not bashing the Bucs, but they could handle AB better. We know that the Bucs gave a part-time job to AB to get the SB. Thus, Tom and the coaches should handle him better. If he wants incentives and you do not want to target him exclusively, you should use the playing games for incentives. If the Bucs get the SB, all players will get the highest incentives.
