The Clean-Jersey Response

December 26th, 2021

Strongest Bucs’ line.

Joe was hoping the Buccaneers’ three-Pro-Bowl offensive line would man up today with a puffed out chest and eager to shake off its mess against the Saints.

Mission accomplished.

Tom Brady dropped back to pass 31 times today and was hit just once. And he wasn’t hit that hard.

Pro Bowl Panthers edge rusher Brian Burns and 10-sack man Hassan Reddick were hungry for Tom Brady, as every NFL pass rusher is. But where were they? Joe still can’t find them.

Another clean sheet in the books on the sacks front by the Buccaneers’ beastly front. And a tip of the cap to reserve tackle Josh Wells, who played plenty in Tampa Bay’s jumbo packages where he often was called upon to pass block.

The O-line is the core strength of the Bucs, and now it’s been universally recognized. Joe is convinced Brady’s future in Tampa is directly tied to the line more than it is to any coach or wide receiver.

Take another bow, men!

We all need to relax with the rash of injuries we were hit with. Have to hope Mike Evans, Lenny, LVD and Shaq can all be available with some rest these last couple games. Whatever happens happens in those games. Worst case scenario is we are the 4 seed. Even the 2 seed has to go through GB. It was just nice to see the defense play well again and the offense start to find some stability. The trenches are where it all starts and ends. The O line consistently has been the best in the NFL and didn’t disappoint today. The D Line really balled out as well. That’s how Championships are won.

The Taints were out for blood…to maliciously injury any and all Bucs. That’s probably why Gronk had an off game ( dropping passes over the middle…worried about a helmet to the ribs ) and Brady had to make sure his knees were kept in tact. Let’s see how Ian Note Book does tomorrow night.

    Nice bounce back Bucs…

Really glad to see the OL respond like that today. They were the biggest reason we lost last week and Im writing that game off……That was the one and only time.

I dare any team to beat us that way again. Good freaking luck!! Arent happening.

We are an elite OL and maybe its good we got kicked in the teeth once. Maybe now they are pissed off.

    Burns and Reddick played?

    For real?

I hope that the slimy Saints make the playoffs as the seven seed and that the Bucs get the two seed so that we can get our revenge. I want nothing more than to be the team that sends them home to play golf or eat gumbo or whatever it is they do down there.

What a difference a week makes.

Last week both lines got totally pwned.

This week they were both dominant.

Schizo…which one will show up in a given week?

I’d rather be 2 seed. Somebody sneaks up and surprises GB and boom SB runs through RayJay.

Hey did anyone notice today – we actually have a screen pass play in our play book, and know how to execute it. I guess the strategy is to call that play only when we have more than 0 points. Last Sunday makes sense now.

First playoff game will be a home game. Congrats

    13 wins would be amazing.

A little trivia: Why is 13 considered unlucky? It was the number of people at the last super.

    I LOVE US!!!

Like every game ever played NFL history, It is one and loss in the trenches. The D line and the O line dominated today.

Everyone’s been very impressive on the D line specifically because JPP has not been himself this year with the rotator cuff issue and most games you don’t hear much about Suh
